Lol, a lot of Californians move out to random places, won't assimilate, or learn about the culture, complain, then try to vote to bring the very thing they ran from, there. Personally, I'd love to experience all four seasons. I've experienced enough of summer 8 months of the year here in AZ, that I personally welcome the change. Im originally from SoCal myself.
Bingo. That's what they have done to Idaho. Move here and don't change their ways, horrible driving and who knows how they're voting. They are not friendly neighbors either. No offense, but they've ruined Southwest Idaho. This is not the promised land. I find this refreshing as you are a Californian and this is your take. I wish you the best wherever you move next.🙂

My sister (from Utah) moved to Boston with her husband and thought she'd make brownies and go introduce herself to her neighbors (a very Utah thing to do). Not one would even open the door all the way. They sort of cracked the door open and asked what she was selling. None would take the brownies. Very different cultures. She did grow to love Boston however...it just took time to make friends.
I was raised in San Francisco, with a conservative background. When I was growing up, acceptance of different ideologies was accepted and respected between the left and right. But, I watched it change drastically and the inclusiveness divided to an extreme. Relocating to Utah has been absolutely amazing. I was reluctant at first due to my non denominational background, and the influence of a high population of LDS. I haven’t encountered anything but genuine niceness and acceptance of all. The citizens are nice and respectful to one another. It’s been a breath of fresh air. Not to mention, where I live, you literally can leave your car unlocked or front door unlocked. I don’t read about murder and extensive crime every single day. The most rewarding part being, you feel and live the freedoms you were born with. I don’t have local bureaucrats or people of the predominant faith telling me how to live my life. Wish I had moved here sooner.
Ah. I remember the good old days growing up in Utah when it DIDNT look like CA with the homeless, gangs, overpriced homes, etc. Californians are like pine beetles. They find something healthy and vibrant, latch on to it, eat it until it’s dead and then move on.
If you don't like it here, I-15 goes right back. Feel free to jump back on it and head home. I promise you none of us Utah natives would care. Heck, most of us would pay for your fuel!
As a utah resident born and raised here can honestly say the amount of people moving here is truly hated by people born and raised here. It’s completely ruined the housing market and drove up prices so high people born and raised here are being forced further and further south to be able to buy a house. They bring bad political views from places such as California.
1) No Beach... even though you dont go every day, having the beach near by is such a plus. 2) Utah is SO DRY... you feel it in your skin and your throat when you breath. You realize it instantly when you're back to the So Cal basin, it just feels like your back to normal, the way it's supposed to feel.
1) We have lakes beaches, I know it's not the same, but it helps. 2) Well, I rather be dry all day during the summer heat than sweating like a faucet just by standing in a shade.
When we moved to Farmington, UT from California, the morning we arrived with our big U-Haul all of the neighbors came and helped us unload the truck. We are not members of the predominant culture, but that didn't matter. I regret moving back to California.
I moved (taxed out of) here from San Diego 3 years ago and do not regret it whatsoever. I love it here. I have seen the price of housing go up radically but I feel it is the realtors taking advantage of the newer arrivals. It's still cheaper here, auto registration, food, utilities and so on. Plus I love the weather here. As for the traffic, ha, it's nothing like the traffic in southern commiforina. Didn't enjoy the earthquake a while back. Another reason I left commiforina. Those who regret moving to Utah are fools. Most of the others I've met who are from the west coast that have moved here were conservatives not liberals. Point being, I love it here and will never go back to California, not for all the gold in Fort Knox. 👍
When I was moving from Lakeside in 2011, my friends thought I was crazy. One by one as they’ve left, they say, “you got out at the right time” 5 of my kids live here now!! Just hate 27 degrees, but because I moved from California early enough, I was able to buy a beach condo in Florida! My hubby and I are going to be snowbirds!
My husband and I are native Californians who moved to Utah for school. My husband got a full ride football scholarship in Utah. Our plan was to move right back after graduation. We are still here in Utah 25 years later. We hike, boat, ski, snowmobile, and wilderness dry camp. We love it! We can be in the mountains in 15 min or so. Cali is fun to visit but we would never move back. I have family that moved out simply because running a business in Cali is a nightmare of high taxes, regulations and red tape. They aren now making big bucks in what is beginning to be called the New Silicone Valley in Utah.
I have driven in San Diego and LA traffic. Salt lake traffic can get bad but not as bad as California. Utah is conservative and we like it that way. Neighbor helping neighbor without government control. All religions are in Utah. Yup it gets cold. If that bothers you please don't come to Utah. Part of the housing price issue is because of the influx of California people paying cash and causing a bidding war.
I was born in California, but my mother's family and background lies in Utah. I also lived in and around SLC for 5 years. I love it there. I'm actually here in Utah right now lol
I'm originally from California and lived here most of my life. Utah is a beautiful State to live in. I lived there for 3 years and would go back if I could. Maybe one day, I hope. Wasatch Mountain. I truly loved living in Utah. Way better than California.
Just to warn you Utah conservatives generally are REALLY conservative like far far to the right. This might be your exact cup of tea ( although most Utah Conservatives don't drink tea lol 😆) but I've personally known Conservative individuals who it was even too much for them...mostly outside of the Wasatch Front in more rural Utah (that's where my husband is from and he was even an elected official at one time). But if that is what you're looking for Utah could be exactly the place for you!
Salt Lake City Utah or Denver Colorado.....I say split the difference and go with Grand Junction Colorado. Both cities are close with out all the traffic and drama of living in a city.
Beautiful country down there also, that entire Western side of Colorado has some gorgeous places and I think ( could be mistaken) but still fairly affordable...
Don’t go to Western Colorado ! We are full & don’t want you ! It’s expensive to live here because of all the rich folks moving in buying fancy houses. Don’t know what they do for work .
This was very kind. The one thing I really ask of anyone that relocates for a positive reason is very simple. You came here knowing the culture. Don't try and change it to what you left behind. We love everyone. That love of neighbors is important. Do not create a culture you ran from. Embrace the way we live. I didn't try to change Denver or Phoenix. I grew to appreciate how they lived there even if I didn't live their style. It's a RED state. That really has worked in a very positive manner. If you want a blue state then please move or let things be as they are here. You will find caring generous people that actually accept you for you if you let them live how they live. Again, thank you for a great piece and view points on this place.
People don’t love. People hate and judge if anyone is anyone Is just a tiny bit different. It’s awful. I grew up lds is Missouri and minding my own business and this is the worst place. It’ll be the first place god condemns. 🤷🏻♀️
There is actually a 6 reason why people will move out or not come to Utah. Lack of a nightlife in the State. There are no dance clubs to be found, especially in a major city like Salt lake City. Being a Black male and retired from the military who had lived in different states, I do miss the nightlife of those states, but not the high crimes and liberal minded people. So you have to take the pros versus the cons of this state.
Born and raised in Utah, and nothing against your channel personally but... Californians have always done this song and dance, frankly it's annoying. Oh it's so great over there, more culture, more night life, it's so much better. Well no ones stoppin ya. I say this as someone who listened to Californians bitch about my state for years lol... I know it's not the focus of the vid but anyone from here will know what I'm talking about. It's like you guys have an entire identity about being Californian and it gets weird, it's like listening to a never ending red hot chili peppers song just pipe down about your state already.
If you're from California and lean libertarian/ conservative...... come on in! If you lean liberal/ socialist......swim out Hawaii's way, I'm sure they'd love to tax, and oppress you like you're used to. 😉
the same with other states. I recently moved from NJ to SC. Main reason was property taxes which are stupid high in NJ. I'm currently paying 8 times less than in NJ, and my taxes in Jersey were actually "reasonable" if you compare them to tows 20 minutes east of where I lived where you pay around 14k a year for an average house with a tiny yard. If a liberal from NJ asked me if moving to SC is a good idea, I'd tell em to stay home and enjoy the circus they helped creating
There’s a saying in Utah. How do you know a Mormon is lying ? They never stop smiling. I worked for a Logan trucking company 4 years ago. Most of them were decent to me. Had a couple of drivers play games and try to screw with me, while trying to be my friend. Even the company I discovered was paying the tithing employees more than us heathen outsiders.
First off,you can't take California weather with you...and traffic here in utah is nothing compared to orange county and Los Angeles,I moved from Southern California to sandy utah 3 yrs ago,the religion has very little to do with your day to day life, also there are churches of all faiths near Salt lake, catholic,Christian,Baptist etc...to everyone on here crying about Californians, people can move wherever they want,Utah runs like a fine tuned machine compared to the dumpster fire that California is,I don't want utah to be anything but a red state
I don't like the politics of California, all of that aside there isn't anywhere else in the US that can match California's natural beauty and entertainment value. I'm a truck driver, I've been to almost every other state. That's not to say there aren't nice places to live, but leaving California isn't easy if you enjoy the mountains, beaches and lifestyle you can have there (although I know California has been run into the ground but I'm not talking about housing costs or politics).
I love Utah and Idaho. We moved here from S. CA. The weather is awful for my arthritis but safety is so much better. At night I was always afraid to drive in S CA. It is not the place for a woman to have a car breakdown. The help I received from my church has been astounding. People are generally much more respectful and show more civility.
Make sure you vote correctly (conservative and right leaning and not liberal and left leaning) if you want to maintain your safety and freedom in Idaho.
@@Dani-mh5qk which increaes property taxes.....your point? If we sold we would pay higher prices so how is that a win? Typical no common sense comment you shared.
I moved to southern Texas from north utah,, it's very different in TX and to warm. I plan to move back to UT after a year. Traffic here is insane in TX! Food and gas are cheaper in TX but everything else is the same.
Interesting! Thank you for your video! I grew up in N. CA (Redwoods area) but have lived in the SW Michigan area for the past 10+ years. Although I ended up here initially NOT by my choice, all the reasons you list are reasons why I want to move to SLC area in about 2 years. With the exception of the difference in humidity levels between both states, the 4 seasons is what I love about both states. I have brothers living in SLC and have visited them in the Summer, Fall and Winter seasons. To me, it felt like the UT winters are way more brutal simply because the humidity levels are extremely low compared to eastern states, and I find the cold weather in UT "bites" you much harsher than MI. And while it would be awesome to live in CA again and feel the sun almost all year round, I could never afford the ridiculous housing prices which would mean I'd have to live with someone else...not happening! Plus, I'm more Red State-minded, and UT is right up my alley in so many ways. There's A LOT of nature to live near by, if not within it but the city life is also close by if that's what you prefer.
Thank you Sara for all of your insights having experience in both CA and UT. You are certainly right about the humidity levels, the seasons, and the affordability. I hope that Michigan has been a good fit for you. Thanks again for the comments.
Originally I’m from Missouri. Moved out to Utah for work and mountain biking in 2000 and stayed till 2004. I absolutely loved it and miss it terribly even to this day. I affectionately call SLC my adopted hometown… even as a practicing Catholic. Utah can be weird but it’s an amazing place. And you need to send those California freak jobs packing. They left that state because of what they voted for!
Moved here two years ago from Vegas. Don’t see me moving away in the next couple of years. I’m used to desert heat and 55 degree winters and the 25 degree highs aren’t bad I’m used to it
I will never go to that pit of a state California. I was born there and watch it go from beautiful to crime, horrible politics, bad spending policy of hard earn tax dollars. Homelessness everywhere. No safe place for my kids play!!! Go back please!!!
Sounds to me like if people cant adapt here then they are too picky or too head strong with their ways. I love it here and I love the mountains. The people are nicer, the schools are better, less stress for the kids, (maybe because half the kids have religious backgrounds, just saying). Aahhh the four seasons is what changes the pace and keeps you sane to deal with the 4 different times of the year. keeps it interesting. Mountain weather. I lived in Las Vegas too and there was a slight fall and cold but it was always sunny and then 110 degrees in the summers. No thanks for Phoenix or Texas either. Hell, the San Fernando Valley is getting hotter and hotter every year. And don't get me started on having enough "good" water in your own state. I'll take my canyon water every day.
Utah is a beautiful loving state ….yes being more conservative is the best (being I was a lib for 30+ yrs and now a proud Patriot .I am much happier! So you can leave if it’s a problem for you .I am loving Utah …❤
I don’t think it’s possible to regret moving out of California. Yes, it gets cold in Utah but the quality of life itself is why we chose Utah. Nothing bad about Utah. Just somebody that’s trying to make you change your decision. I’m moving to Utah if you’re from California and you do not agree with anything that’s happening there then Utah is the best place same weather low humidity and cheaper.
For anyone who lived in Utah 20+ years ago, they will say Utah is gone to hell in a hand basket. Home prices, rent prices, severally increased traffic, property taxes run thru the roof, to damn many more people. Can't go shopping, can't get in a restaurant to eat anymore without a 30 minute to 1 hour wait. Locals that grew up here will tell you Utah is ruined, gone forever and will never ever go back to what made Utah great. Utah is done. Only Utah residents that are happy are the reality agents and home builders, California's, you can take the Realtors and home builders with you to California.
Overall. Utah is conservative you are right about that! There are a lot of amazing areas and people in Utah, I would certainly hope that where ever you moved, they would welcome you with open arms! Feel free to give me a call or send me an email if you'd like to chat more about it. Thanks for watching Olga!
Southern California is different from the rest of the state, we have the best weather. So moving anywhere else is tough. I think we get used to the sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Cloudy days or having to stay indoors just to be comfortable can be rough, that's how it was for me living in Alabama for a few years. Traffic was often bad in Alabama, too. The main corridor freeways like the 65 were often stop and go during rush hours.
I live in SoCal and I gotta tell ya the weather is nice but the tent cities, homeless people walking the streets, the crazy people engaging in arguments with themselves is all the more reason to leave and QUICK! I'm here until my lease expires and I'm out never EVER to return. I'd pick conservative UT or Idaho any day of the week over any parts of California. The state is just ruined beyond repair.
@@ADeFilho You are so right about all of that! The weather is awesome but I agree the tent cities, homelessness...etc has really changed the state. Thanks for your insights!

Salt Lake Valley has lots of conservatives, and we need to maintain the values that support the church….this is the headquarters of the church, so we still have lots of conservatives. Notice I did not mention a party….just conservative values.
@@Logan-bo7nt Utah voted red for Mike Lee, thank goodness. It depends on where in the valley. Salt Lake City, by itself, may be more blue than it used to be, but surrounding areas are not all that. Besides, it’s an individual thing….there’s a mix everywhere in the country. So maybe you can say all areas vote shades of purple….ha. Liberals came into the valley in large numbers years ago, to try to change a conservative view….that is a vague memory, but do not quote me. I am not sure what the issue was when I heard that. It may have had something to do with gender and marriage. The church makes a big effort to understand LBGTQ people, but we stick to traditional family values because that is Heavenly Father’s plan for us. We also believe that people will have those things as we as others, normalized in the next life. Our stake had a series of firesides, and one of them was how to understand LBGTQ people.
@@livinginslc The firesides are under “Listen, Love and Learn”……there are three of them. But they are found in different spots on UA-cam. One is found twice with another one.
My only complaint about utah is if you’re not Mormon it will be kinda tough to network compared to Texas or coloroado and even Florida. All states I’m comparing this to. Been in utah for 5 years. Need to sell my horse property though. 😂

I lived here all my life in fact Utah was named after my people who's land was taken from them and still is to this day. All my life I've been in lowest rated apartments soon if my rent keeps going up I too will be homeless. I speek for all Utahan's that affordable housing should be for people that lived here all there lives first and not those who has more green stuffed in their pockets.
I once went to get a job in Salt Lake City filled out an application When it was time for the interview The manager asked me what ward I belonged too When it was obvious I didn't understand what she was saying she said she would keep my application on file and call me when something comes up In other words I wasn't mormon and I wasn't getting a job That's a federal Offense
Welcome to Utah..also even if you happen to be Mormon if you don't live in "the right side of town or neighborhood" your not getting the job either..almost did not get to close on my home cause the "wrong end of town" thought I was too wrong to be in their ward..can I say its not all Mormons..like that helps...sigh
@Kimberly Cherrine-Bell I'm glad they treated me like that because eventually I found the truth and the truth is only found in Jesus The truth has a name and is a person his name is Jesus The mormon church has nothing to do with the truth even though they claim to be up God loves you very much Kimberly And he will take care of you trust him He took me from being homeless in Los Angeles to living with my mother God-bless you Kimberly
O and by the way the Mormons and Jesus Is the difference between religion and relationship Jesus is papa or daddy to me very close He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother
We moved to SLC from CA in the 80’s. If a child wasn’t Mormon in the public school, they were routinely ostracized. It’s much improved these days, but the Mormon influence and culture still weighs heavily in many of the SLC suburbs - some more than others.
Utah is a wonderful state and has done alot of things right. And before you blast people moving into the state, give them a chance to show you who they are and what their priorities in life are. You may find they are like minded in many ways. But don't expect them to make your first meeting an exchange of hugs and smooches. The culture of some places like California is far more aggressive and brutal. Show them how the good people of utah support their communities and take care of their neighbors. Encourage them to explore the natural beauty of the state, help them weather the seasons, but hold off on the cheese curds.
There was a Metro Train from Outside of Salt Lake City Instead of Driving the Car there was going You Can Commute by Using the Metro Train system to get into Salt Lake City
No offense but do we live in the same place????? I was raised lds in the Midwest and left the church bc of the people here. Not to mention how rude and prejudice people are. The worst I’ve ever encountered. The hypocrisy, the cruelty. I can’t wait to get out of here. Oh and traffic is bad bc you have too many drivers from so many other states have clashed and no one knows how to drive in sync. Which causes worsening traffic. Fact.
Don't move to Utah! Too Damn crowded, stay where you are from. It used to be nice here now it is full of high-rise apartments and roads that can't handle all the people. Go home!
Im a native of utah. Ive seen the infestation of idiology as it has changed utahs culture from the top down. Moved on to Wyo. Its culture is its own but closer to Ut. 60 yrs ago. Most people wouldn't like it except to visit. Is good with me. You all keep your trains, buses and over reaching welfare and tax system. Ill keep the cold, wind , hard working common sense people. The very large majority know if they are male or female and have no time for BS. utah used to be that way. Good people are most always welcome most anywhere. Then again there are places good people shouldnt go.
As a native Utah resident you are welcome to move here but please if you move from a liberal area to here don’t bring your politics with you. Those choices will just create the same problems here that you are trying to get away from. And we don’t want them.
I think, lot of movers from California started back to their home. Here in Utah, property get expensive, too. It is not necessary to have realy big house for a family. But, I love Utah.
Love Utah. Been here for More than 3 years, never go back to CA. The cost of labor is definitely higher and waiters here speak perfect English. , I think August and Nov are the two months that's not pleasant. But we love the remaining 10 months. Less food options - I am Asian, good selection of Asian food, and a good china Town , but no where close to bay area and Seattle. No enough alcohol selection. And when you go to a bar, order wine not cocktail, otherwise it will be water down.
Or could the regret come from experiencing Utah’s air quality which is some of the worst in the country. Or could the regret come from auto insurances rates are 40% actuarially higher due to the incidence of auto accidents caused by poor/aggressive Utah drivers. Or could the regret come from a lack of water and a Great Salt Lake on the verge of extinction. Should the lake ecologically collapse, it is projected that will cause real estate values to plummet. A house valued at $500K today would be worth $80K. Or could the regret come from a theocratic culture where critical thinking is discouraged and intellectually laziness and blind conformity is celebrated. Or could the regret come from the fact patriarchy reigns supreme. Or could the regret come from the initial inclusiveness and willingness to help from the faithful until they find out you’re not of the faith and you have no intention of joining.
can't STAND UT drivers, they are aggressive and then they just will do random things as if they aren't paying ANY attention to what they are doing causing grief to other drivers.

I'll pitch in some $
As a utah resident born and raised here can honestly say the amount of people moving here is truly hated by people born and raised here. It’s completely ruined the housing market and drove up prices so high people born and raised here are being forced further and further south to be able to buy a house. They bring bad political views from places such as California.
Sorry to hear that has been your experience Jimmy. Thanks for sharing!
Except the state government itself stated that domestic immigration has nothing to do with the increase in housing. So…..
Born in AZ, we'd love to ship you Californians right back honestly, I'm sure lots of people in UT, CO, TX, OR, ID and WA feel the same.
Thanks for watching!

Okay, keep that same energy when you need help. Don’t ask the people that are different than you.
You are right about that David... the beach and the dryness, so true!
1) We have lakes beaches, I know it's not the same, but it helps.
2) Well, I rather be dry all day during the summer heat than sweating like a faucet just by standing in a shade.
I lived in Arizona an New Mexico....as a native American....Utah always treated me Right... Love everything about UTAH ❤️

I think it's an LDS thing. I hear they think that Native Americans descend from the true Israelites.
You can bet no one has any greater "regret" than Utah😉
Thanks for watching!
When we moved to Farmington, UT from California, the morning we arrived with our big U-Haul all of the neighbors came and helped us unload the truck. We are not members of the predominant culture, but that didn't matter.
I regret moving back to California.
What a wonderful experience, I'm so glad you shared that! Thanks for your comment Frank!
I moved to salt lake and came back to San Diego. Regret it. Should’ve stayed in Salt Lake.
Stay in California. 😂 good luck
Would never consider leaving. We live in paradise!
Most Californians don’t leave their state.
Thanks for watching Herb and for your insights! So glad to hear that Utah has been a wonderful fit for you!
When I was moving from Lakeside in 2011, my friends thought I was crazy. One by one as they’ve left, they say, “you got out at the right time”
5 of my kids live here now!!
And crime

I have driven in San Diego and LA traffic. Salt lake traffic can get bad but not as bad as California. Utah is conservative and we like it that way. Neighbor helping neighbor without government control. All religions are in Utah. Yup it gets cold. If that bothers you please don't come to Utah. Part of the housing price issue is because of the influx of California people paying cash and causing a bidding war.
Thanks for the comments and feedback Dennis!

I was born in California, but my mother's family and background lies in Utah. I also lived in and around SLC for 5 years. I love it there. I'm actually here in Utah right now lol
We just left the San Francisco Bay area for northern Utah, we love it. The snow takes some getting used too but it's beautiful
Right
I'm originally from California and lived here most of my life.

Denver is a great city great when you want a big city but not densely populated but can be a pain in winter up I70 going skiing

Thanks for mentioning this as well Jonathan!
Thanks for watching Nate and for your feedback.
Too funny!
Californians swarm low cost states like locusts. Also Californians - Why are prices so high here!
Yep
There’s a saying in Utah. How do you know a Mormon is lying ? They never stop smiling.
I worked for a Logan trucking company 4 years ago. Most of them were decent to me.
Had a couple of drivers play games and try to screw with me, while trying to be my friend.
Even the company I discovered was paying the tithing employees more than us heathen outsiders.
Thanks for watching!
Thats my worry about moving there.
First off,you can't take California weather with you...and traffic here in utah is nothing compared to orange county and Los Angeles,I moved from Southern California to sandy utah 3 yrs ago,the religion has very little to do with your day to day life, also there are churches of all faiths near Salt lake, catholic,Christian,Baptist etc...to everyone on here crying about Californians, people can move wherever they want,Utah runs like a fine tuned machine compared to the dumpster fire that California is,I don't want utah to be anything but a red state
Thanks for watching Shad and for your comments. So glad you are loving Utah, we do too!
Please leave
I don't like the politics of California, all of that aside there isn't anywhere else in the US that can match California's natural beauty and entertainment value. I'm a truck driver, I've been to almost every other state. That's not to say there aren't nice places to live, but leaving California isn't easy if you enjoy the mountains, beaches and lifestyle you can have there (although I know California has been run into the ground but I'm not talking about housing costs or politics).
Thanks for watching!

It is not the place for a woman to have a car breakdown. The help I received from my church has been astounding. People are generally much more respectful and show more civility.
Linda, thanks so much for sharing your experiences of living in both places! Such great insights! Thank you!
Make sure you vote correctly (conservative and right leaning and not liberal and left leaning) if you want to maintain your safety and freedom in Idaho.
Let them move back. Utah has had way too many people move here the last few years and it is changing the culture and dynamics of the state.

I moved to southern Texas from north utah,, it's very different in TX and to warm. I plan to move back to UT after a year. Traffic here is insane in TX! Food and gas are cheaper in TX but everything else is the same.
I've heard that. Some of my family has lived in Texas and they have had similar experiences. Thanks for sharing.
Too hot for you down there?

So happy to hear you had a great experience here in Utah!! I hope you are able to make it back someday!

I will never go to that pit of a state California. I was born there and watch it go from beautiful to crime, horrible politics, bad spending policy of hard earn tax dollars. Homelessness everywhere. No safe place for my kids play!!! Go back please!!!
you idiots voted for that dont run from it. you run from it but then end up VOTING FOR THE SAME CRAP YOU RAN FROM IN YOUR NEW STATE
Sounds to me like if people cant adapt here then they are too picky or too head strong with their ways.
These are great comments Jeff! Thanks for sharing your opinions and perspective!

Such a great perspective! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Salt Lake Valley has lots of conservatives, and we need to maintain the values that support the church….this is the headquarters of the church, so we still have lots of conservatives. Notice I did not mention a party….just conservative values.
Salt lake valley votes blue
Did not mention church flavor

Thanks for your feedback and insights Lihong!
Take your regrets with you when you leave.

Please keep making these videos and scaring Californians off 🙏
Lol 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆
My parents moved from Southern California to Utah, years ago, but yeah my Dad never really got over the political stuff it ALWAYS drove him nuts may he Rest in Peace 🙏 🕊 I joke with my Mom that she is a living breathing oxymoron she is what I call a
"Liberal Conservative"...I'll explain...If you meet her she appears as if she is a typical Utah conservative, she lives in Alpine which is in Utah County one of the most conservative counties in the entire nation, she's part of more conservative religion..BUT when it comes to politics she is a LIBERAL! Honestly I find it hilarious 😂 😃 😄 because she just keeps her views to herself but she ALWAYS 🗳 votes! I doubt if any of her neighbors even know...which is also funny.
I recommend that Californians who love the seasons and snow ❄ sports examine Colorado....that's where I live and we love it! It's a bit more expensive than Utah but taxes are very close, possibly even a bit lower in Colorado, and you don't have to deal with the culture stuff....ESPECIALLY not the dominant religion pervading every aspect of life....and holy cow it makes a difference we felt like it took us a few years just to decompress from Utah...there is a stress there that I can't put a pin on but you absolutely notice when it's gone and it's fabulous to be free of...
We moved from Idaho to Colorado over 30 years ago. Colorado was wonderful. It's been twisted into California 2.0 with billions in dark money. Now it's a totally blue state with ALL of the blue state troubles. I wish California values and politics had never come here.
@@reginakohutek2858 I was raised in the land of fruits and nuts, got out young and went to CO...lived there for decades and then BAM the influx of CA folks ruined everything. Left for Idaho, better but they are sniffing around here to, and I wish they would not stay. Stupid folks wanting an HOA in the mts...it was rural not suburbia...ugh
Your poor neighbors....yuck
@@stuartdavis83 what? Why? Honestly confused by this comment lol 😆

Good point!
California has always been more expensive than most states plus it has state income tax i for one don’t want to pay the government more than what’s required. Utah been there and yes winters are awfully cold.
You are right about that Bob!
I met a Mormon that lives in Utah Four and Five Bedroom Houses are common compared to like the State of Californa
Very true!
I met Mormons before They do not force their Religion on You
Thanks for the comment Steven.
Not to sound so rude that I love how America just keeps inviting people over entire families giving their money helping them to get restarted over again.Meanwhile, there are people in this country that can't even afford to have families because they can't even afford to pay rent. And they work all the time because this country is falling apart. And we don't even seem to be able to help ourselves. And we're just always having everyone else. It's very annoying
I see why you're making this video. Deterring more overflow and increased home prices and the state that is growing the most.
Please make more do not move to Utah videos. It's horrible here. You don't want to move here. Alaska may be a better option... yeah. Alaska
Thanks for watching Brandon! Alaska is beautiful!
