The point of our Lord being born as a man is to be an example by being made an example for us to follow. He suffered every kind of suffering a man can endure and stayed solid without resolve to the will of God even to death. He died a virgin, suffered extreme physical torment, no children, was poor, demonically oppressed and he stayed true to the commands of God and was unwavering in all things thrown at him. To live is Christ and to die is gain.

You did well !! However, focus on the language of your statement. You said, "I was baptized in the 'name'. You were actually baptized in the 'titles' of that name. The 'name' of the titles is Lord Jesus or Jesus Christ. We must redo our 1st works over again. Be baptized in the name of (Lord Jesus) or (Jesus Christ). Not the titles 😊

The obligatory formula for the Sacrament of Holy Baptism includes the recitation of the Name of the Holy Trinity: In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, just as was commanded the Apostles by the Lord Jesus Christ. They are persons not titles. But I agree one must focus on what that means

Paul was not sent with the ministry to make Christ manifest to Israel. He was not sent with a water baptism ministry. Israel had already rejected John, Jesus, and Peter. Christ raised up Paul precisely because of Israel’s rejection of Christ and spiritual fall.
Instead of making the prophesied Messiah manifest to Israel, Paul was given the ministry of making the mystery of Christ manifest to all men: Jew and Gentile (Eph 3:9-10).
“Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:” - Col 1:26
When it was time for the Messiah to come to Israel, John water baptized to make him manifest to Israel according to the prophets. When the Messiah was gone, Israel fell, and the mystery of Christ was revealed, there was no longer any need for the manifestation of water baptism, but the manifestation of the mystery of Christ.
“Withal praying also for us… to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.” - Col 4:3-4
Paul separated the gospel message from water baptism in 1 Corinthians 1:17.
John was sent to water baptize to make the prophesied Christ manifest to Israel. Paul was sent not to water baptize to make the mystery of Christ manifest to the world.
“Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.” - Acts 28:28
Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection offer forgiveness & justification to all men by grace through faith alone.

@ it was a change of priesthood. In Exodus 29 it details how the High Priest was consecrated with washing with water, anointing with oil and blood (v.4, v.7 & v.20). John the Baptist was of lineage of Aaron, the lineage of the High Priests (Luke 1:5 & Zechariah was ministering in the holy place, only for sons of Aaron).
He had the right to consecrate Jesus as the next High Priest - not in the order of Aaron though. Jesus was High Priest in the order of Melchizedek - King and Priest at the same time, fulfilling Psalm 110:4 & Zechariah 6:11-13. See also Hebrews 7
Jesus was washed in water, anointed with the Holy Spirit and 3 years later shed His blood, thus being fully consecrated as the Anointed Priest and King. Now He has sat down at the right hand of God interceding as a Priest and ruling as a King.
When we come to Christ we believe in Him and His sacrifice and are consecrated by His blood, baptised in water and filled with the Holy Spirit so we also become a “royal priesthood” and “kings and priests” in and with Jesus the Messiah. (1 Peter 2:9, Rev.1:5, Rev.5:9-10).
May we be filled with the knowledge of His will!
On a more simple level though - He gave us an example to follow and God wanted Him to do it.

I love that they talk about a philosophical and symbolic meaning of Jesus baptism. But in its simplest form as per Jewish tradition at the time of Jesus a rabbi who entered into ministry was baptised before he took on the rabbis duties. This is just Jesus fulfilling that step. It was done outside of the temple construct as the ministry that Jesus was bringing was from outside of the temple. It was a message of forgiveness and salvation and new relationship with God and not based on ritualistic sacrifices.

Because, in Jewish tradition, when starting off on something new or important, there is a “mikveh” a washing by immersion. If a gentile converts to religious Judaism, there is a mikveh. When my Jewish wife married me (a gentile christian), her religiously Jewish father, asked her to immerse herself on the morning of the wedding. When we went to Israel to bring my Jewish mother-in-law to the US because of her failing health, she insisted on visiting hot springs in Southern Israel for a mikveh ( “setting off on a new direction”). …This even adds possible explanation to the puzzling verse in I Corinthians 15:29 “Baptism for the dead.” There is a type of this in the religious Jewish ritual of immersing the dead body, so as to be all spiffed up for the Resurrection, which is the argument Paul is making. Christians NEED to study the OT and Jewish culture to understand THEIR OWN faith and theology. John the Baptist (“John the Mikveh Man”), was doing a ceremony of not only cleansing, but setting off into something new.

Baptism is a representation of being reborn. From the waters we came and we came again from birth. The reason is psychological, as when people experience a spiritual awakening, they neurologically need to reformulate their understanding of reality and how they behave. You need to more or less treat yourself as a child who needs to learn how to awkwardly relearn how to operate with the new perspective with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus came to earth to show us how to live. We must “die before we die” and be Born Again, and the water is symbolic of that process. He also “slipped away into lonely places”, often the wilderness, to speak to the Father.
If we follow in His footsteps, we will feel His love and light reflect through us. We can never be Christlike, but the process of striving to be is transformative.

Which "baptism"? The Old Covenant priests were required to undergo ritual washing before they could begin their priestly service. One man was born under the Old Covenant, and lived perfectly under the Old Covenant, and died under the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant died at the moment Jesus said, "It is finished." and God ripped the temple veil in half from the top to the bottom. His blood shed at Calvary also fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34.
Who did John the Baptist say is the greatest Baptist that ever lived in Luke 3:16? What kind of New Covenant baptism comes from Christ?
Eating Kosher is not unbiblical, but it is not required under the New Covenant. Circumcision of male children is not unbiblical, but it is not required under the New Covenant. Trimming your beard according to the Law of Moses is not unbiblical, but it is not required under the New Covenant. Water baptisms were a part of the Old Covenant, but they are not required under the New Covenant. The proof is found below. John baptized with water. Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit. Which one is related to salvation, based on Romans 8:9?
      .
Heb. 9:10 (YLT) only in victuals, and drinks, and different baptisms, and fleshly ordinances-till the time of reformation imposed upon them .
      .
Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
      Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
      Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (Is this water baptism or Holy Ghost baptism?)
      .
Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
      .
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
      .
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
      .
Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
      .
Act 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
      .
Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (See Mark 1:8)
How many modern Christians focus on the baptism in water and ignore the Holy Spirit?

“The baptism administered by St. John the Baptist was a call for repentance and purification, the sign of the desire of the soul to be cleansed and to prepare the way and the space within herself for the gift of Redemption, the life of grace, the means of Salvation, which the longed-for Messiah, the Son of God made Man, would bring upon earth. The Sacramental Baptism instituted by Jesus frees the soul of the stain of original sin and activates the gift of grace within her, making her a child of God. However, the life of grace received through Baptism can be rendered sterile by lack of correspondence, or even suppressed by sin, since all Sacraments produce their effects within the soul according to her dispositions. But when the Divine Will reigns in the soul as her very life, baptizing every fiber of her being, she comes to possess the very source of grace, she lives of Divine Life; and that very Divine Will which has the power to purify, to baptize, to generate Divine Life is her Will too.” Divine Will Rosary. ❤️‍🔥🇻🇦🇺🇸⚕️

New Covenant Whole Gospel: How many modern Christians cannot honestly answer the questions below?
Who is the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Who is the “son” that is the “heir” to the land in Matthew 21:37-43? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary?
What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary.
God is not now a “racist”. He has extended His love to all races of people through the New Covenant fulfilled by His Son’s blood at Calvary. The Apostle Paul warned against using “genealogies” in our faith in 1 Tim. 1:4, and Titus 3:9.
If the New Covenant is "everlasting" in Hebrews 13:20 and the Old Covenant is "obsolete" in Hebrews 8:13, why would any Christian believe God is going back to the Old Covenant system during a future time period?
Get on the Road to Emmaus with the risen Savior in Luke 24:25-27, if you want to understand the Bible.

Sea is even representative of society, culture. Things get tossed back and forth in societies and cultures just as knowledge runs to and fro. I’m positive the Bible says about the sea of the people. 12:00
“Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭17‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”
    ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7‬:‭19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

A person must be “baptized” to be saved, but it has nothing to do with water. The proof is found below.
Old Covenant Baptism vs. New Covenant Baptism (water vs. Spirit)
Water baptism was a part of the Old Covenant system of ritual washing. (The proof is found in Hebrews 9:10) The Old Covenant priests had to wash before beginning their service in the temple. (Ex. 30:17-30) When Christ was water baptized by His cousin John in the Jordan River, He was under the Old Covenant system. He also only ate certain foods, and wore certain clothes, as prescribed by the 613 Old Covenant laws. Christ was water baptized by John and then the Holy Spirit came from heaven. (Acts 10:38) The order is reversed in the New Covenant. A person receives the Holy Spirit upon conversion, and then believers often declare their conversion to their friends and family through a water baptism ceremony. Which baptism makes you a member of Christ’s Church?
The New Covenant conversion process is described below. (Born-again)
Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
(A person must “hear” the Gospel, and “believe” the Gospel, and will then be “sealed” with the Holy Spirit.)
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(See Jer. 31:34 for the New Covenant promise, and 1 John 2:27 for the fulfillment)
    ============
Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says?
    What did Peter say below?
Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 1:5, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water/ every time they read the word "baptize" in the text.
Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage?
Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
    Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
    Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (See 1 Cor. 12:13)
    “baptize” KJV
Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Water or Holy Spirit?, See Eph. 1-13.)
Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
    Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
Act 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (See Eph. 4:1-5)
Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. (Old Covenant ----> New Covenant)

Maybe you should ask what is baptism? Why does Jesus get baptized before Christianity is not even a faith? For what purpose? Did Jews baptize their babies? No. So why did Jesus get baptized. I will tell you. It's made up fiction. Baptism is practice of blessing holy water performed by Christian holy men. Then a person is immersed in holy water. But since there were no Christians back then the practice of baptism didn't exist.

Baptism is a Christian ceremony that symbolizes a person's faith in Christ, their rebirth, and their admission into the church:
Faith in Christ: Baptism is a public declaration of a person's love, trust, and hope in Jesus.
Rebirth: Baptism symbolizes the death of a person's life devoted to sin and their rebirth into a new life in Jesus.
Admission into the church: Baptism is a sacrament that admits a person into the church.
How can Jesus get baptized before Christianity?

@@0786AHA Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist to pay respect to God the Father, yes they're all three God but they must be respected accordingly. You're not wrong, but baptism is symbolic of an inward faith displayed outwardly, but it's mostly the adherence and confirming our obedience to God the Father.
Jesus obeyed God accordingly. He wasn't baptized before "Christianity" because Jesus the Christ is Christianity..
Baptism is an outward symbolic dimenstration of what the Holy Spirit does inwardly and spiritually.
And "baptism" has happened even before John. The flood was a baptism of the whole world, in Leveticus priest would have to cleanse themselves in water before performing any priestly duties. Water, being pure and clean, if done properly, sheds us of our old life and habits.
It's mostly, in this age, indeed a demonstration of our inward faith and devotion of obeying God, and following Jesus into new life that is of God.
This'll make sense if you believe in the Trinity. :)

I get they're just talking but this is bad theology is scary. Let the bible interpret the bible. Question was why was jesus baptized if he's sinless.
    ▪︎Luke 1:5,13
John the Baptist was of the line of aaron. A levitical priest.
    ▪︎Luke 3:21-23
Jesus was baptized and began his ministry at 30 years old by a levitical priest.
▪︎number 4:3,23,30 numbers 4:35 numbers 4:43 Priests had to be over 30 to 50 to serve.
▪︎exodus 29:4,7 aaron and his sons had to be wash in water and anointed before beginning their ministry to serve in the temple.
▪︎John the Baptist is passing the baton. Preparing Jesus for his ministry to the new high priest but in the New order of melchizedek. Jesus instead of being anointed by oil he's anointed by the holy spirit. THE LEVITICAL PRIEST ACKNOWLEDGED THE NEW PRIESTHOOD OF JESUS BY THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK. Jesus is anointed by the father.
    ▪︎Acts 10:38 acts 10:36-38
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy ghost and with power.
John baptized Jesus to prepare Jesus as the high priest of the new order of melchizedek to offer the sacrifice to atone for the sins of the world.
HOW DO WE KNOW THIS IS A SYMBOL OF THE END OF THE LEVITICAL PRIESTHOOD? LUKE 16:16-17
Law and prophets were until John the law will not fail. The Fulfillment of the Old Testament is here.... jesus.

I am astonished these “ learned” men cannot explain baptism in the new covenant, very disturbing. Repent and be baptized every one of you for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38. For every one of you who has been baptized has “ put” on Christ”Galatians 3:27 . Romans 6, we are buried with Christ in baptism, and then raised from that death to walk a new life. In 1 Peter 3, Baptism becomes our ark, saving us from the coming wrath , and is the answer of a good conscience toward God. , in another place, baptism is equaled to circumcision. But not of the flesh by man’s hands, but circumcision of the heart by Jesus himself. It’s a spiritual act and cannot be held in high enough esteem. Let the scriptures speak and men be silent.

Second, and more importantly, it thwarts the very spirit of this endeavor which has drawn so many listeners, the spirit of curiosity, adventure, and humility. It betrays the listeners(like me) who came not to be proselytized but instead challenged and edified.

    Reasons our Savior was baptized-
2 Nephi 31:5-12 (From the Book of Mormon)
5 - And now, if the Lamb of God, He being holy, should have need to be baptized by water, to fulfil all righteousness, O then, how much more need have we, being unholy, to be baptized, yea, even by water!
6 - And now, I would ask of you, my beloved brethren, wherein the Lamb of God did fulfil all righteousness in being baptized by water?
7 - Know ye not that He was holy? But notwithstanding He being holy, He showeth unto the children of men that, according to the flesh He humbleth himself before the Father, and witnesseth unto the Father that He would be obedient unto Him in keeping His commandments.
8 - Wherefore, after He was baptized with water the Holy Ghost descended upon Him in the form of a dove.
9 - And again, it showeth unto the children of men the straitness of the path, and the narrowness of the gate, by which they should enter, He having set the example before them.
10 - And He said unto the children of men: Follow thou Me. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, can we follow Jesus save we shall be willing to keep the commandments of the Father?
11 - And the Father said: Repent ye, repent ye, and be baptized in the name of My Beloved Son.
12 - And also, the voice of the Son came unto me, saying: He that is baptized in My name, to him will the Father give the Holy Ghost, like unto Me; wherefore, follow Me, and do the things which ye have seen Me do.

@@totalityofscripture1001I do not see that Acts 2:38 teaches baptism saves. For one thing I think it is a dangerous thing to use the book of Acts for our doctrinal practices. Acts has a lot of doctrine, but is not a doctrinal instruction book.

Because we are to follow Christ, His baptism represented as a form of mandate for believers. It represents righteousness or cleanliness, symbolically.

Sorry, last reply. You keep mentioning Holy Water. Sadly, many men have taken the Christian faith and placed upon it their own traditions, and understanding. (They're not truly Christians.) Holy Water isn't biblical. It's just water... and during the baptism it's simply a demonstration of devotion. This devotion of obedience can cause a wide variety of spiritual effects depending on the person, their faith, and if they're earnest. If it's show boating or just something to do, you're only getting wet.
However, if you're truly seeking to know God, and to feel His Spirit, I'd recommend being baptized, because again.. it's an outward demonstration of what has, or will happen inwardly with the baptism of the fire by the Holy Spirit.
It's so sad that false Christians (wolves) have perverted the texts and subjected them to their own understanding.. they'll answer for their sins before Jesus Christ. 🙂

Mary and Joseph obeyed Jewish law, Jesus was circumcised, which was a part of the Human experience. Jesus, is fully Human, but His Nature is fully God. He was a jew, and the law had to be obeyed by Mary and Joseph..
Jesus, being God incarnate lived a fully human experience, but what sets Him a part from us, He was sinless.

@@BillSaintofYeshuaMary was also sinless. We Muslims believe that. For that matter all prophets are sinless.
Therefore it's surprising that Jesus chose a sinner to spread Christianity in Paul.

@@BillSaintofYeshua yes. Jews rights were performed on Jesus. But the question is, given the fact that Jesus is God, can God's body parts be thrown in garbage? I would say no. They would be sacred. At least I would treat them as sacred. It's basically disrespectful to throw God's parts in garbage. And that is why we Muslims say Jesus is not God. God would be above getting humiliated.

@0786AHA Sorry, I'm not the best with conversing. But no where in the Bible does it say Mary is sinless. The Bible is truth in my opinion, sadly the texts have been twisted and perverted. You can say it was changed and miss translated, but you can also refer to the original Greek manuscripts. No where, does it say Mary is sinless... she did have a unique holiness, she was favored by God for her devotion, but she wasn't "sinless."
I see it doesn't matter what truth I encourage. However I do highly encourage you to read the four gospels yourself and ask for the Holy Spirit to come upon you, for discernment, wisdom, and for knowledge.
Don't take the word of man as truth, even myself, read it for your yourself with an open mind and heart.
Again, referring to other comments, no where. No where, in the Bible does it tall about Holy Water being used for baptism or anything of that sort. Water is a symbolic tool, it has been used during sacramental rituals.. Jesus Christ is Holy, and it's His Spirit (the Holy Spirit) that cleanses us, during the moment of obedience. Not water blessed by a man, sadly as I've said, many self righteous people have perverted the gospels to bring themselves significance, they're wolves, they perverted for their own gain, in which they may gain recognition here on earth, but our Father in Heaven is not applauding them.
I'm sorry if I come off as rude, I respect you, I hope your day goes well, but texting is difficult for me because it's void of emotions. (I rarely comment.)

@@0786AHAalso, we're all sinners, Paul was chosen because of the grace and love of God, he repented and fully devoted Himself to God Almighty, you're a fool if you believe any man, besides Jesus, isn't a sinner. We're all sinners, all fall short of the glory of God, but it's by His grace and our sincerity of doing better that saves us. You would know this if you learn the true ethical teachings of Christ Jesus our savior. Again, no disrespect, I hope your day is filled with love and joy friend. ❤️

It's okay to be ignorant, but to be so confident and boustful about it is fascinating. I know nothing of Islam and what it's like to be a Muslim, but I also don't confidently pretend like I do.
I love you, and I love Muslims, I disagree sure, but that doesn't mean I'll misinterpret the Quran to try to prove a point.
Essentially, learn about what you disagree with first, then speak against it if you still hold that understanding. 🙂 yes, I'm pretentious and annoying.. 😆

@@BillSaintofYeshua I apologize don't mean to disrespect. But God getting baptized is rather awkward. Since baptism didn't exist. ✝️Didn't exist. Furthermore baptism requires the water to be holy; that is to say a preacher/pastor must bless the water and the baptism performed in Jesus name. So having Jesus be baptized when Christianity didn't exist obviously poses a conundrum that the guest panel doesn't bring up. And I am shocked. But if one says that Jews perform baptism, I would say they perform tvilah. Which is ritual washing. And since they reject Jesus as their Messiah they certainly will not baptize.
So my question is did Christianity come before Jesus? How can they baptize Jesus? It's a legitimate question.

      @0786AHA 8 днів тому

@@lionsonthepath well I don't know what god breathed means.. but yes, Torah revealed to prophet Moses and injeel revealed to prophet Jesus are God's words. Now the bible is not the injeel because the bible, as you also accept, is the written word of man inspired by God to John Mark Luke Mathew and Paul. We need a book that was revealed to prophet Jesus, or book whose title would be the Gospel of Jesus that contains the spoken word of God. Now you do say the bible contains the teachings of Jesus. That's true. But because it's commingled with the words of men, we will not take the bible as a collection of accurate preserved revelation of God. And that's where ✝️ and ☪️ disagree. Also we say as it's pointed out in the Quran that Torah has been changed and things added to gods words. So that's a separate point of contention.
