As an Android tv user,I really can't understand why Google didn't enable recent app for switching between apps like tizen os.. It's high time Google give some importance to Android tv os.But remote feature & typing via phone is really improved now & no complaint about the same.
Apple waits for a few years, learn what users want, integrates the best , gives the best experience, and simply conquers the market. Android and Google associated products are turning just into a scapegoat for apple to learn what can be done and what users want.
Apple tv OS came when there was no such thing as Android tv. It used to be just Chromecast. Apple TV, Roku TV and fire stick are the 3 main smart devices in USA.
@@user-jc8zm6ef8p Well if integrated call recording (which can easily be added with a software update if Apple ever will) is such a deal breaker for you, that’s alright. Not sure if you’ve noticed but there’s obviously a photos gallery in there, lol. A Files app, as well.

The great thing about Apple is that they always overkill hardware and no one, no one makes software as polished as Apple. Thats the difference. Pretty much all android TV comes with a crappy 1.5GHz quad core mediatek processor, just to get the job done where A12 in the new tvOS makes sure each and every single frame is perfectly rendered.
I mean no doubt Apple TV is smooth, lag free and the UI too is all great but what you're ignoring is the price tag. Apple TV costs 5-7x more than the Android TV stick/box depending upon whether it's 1080p or 4k. I mean you maybe find it suitable to spend 15-20k on a streaming box but a lot of don't want something that expensive. So it's a spectrum, the Android TV devices can easily be bought at lower prices but obviously you'll get cheaper hardware, not high end processors for 2k rupees. Apple is able to provide you with top shelf hardware because their price is top shelf too.
To me, searching on android tv doesn't have not much of a problem as i connect with a cheap keyboard. But the best feature i like on apple tv that i wish google integrate on its tv is the multitasking option. The remote features is a bonus. But to be expected on that price range.
Meanwhile on Tizen tv os(2019 Samsung Ru7100 43inch 4K), Well everything works well for me even was able to switch between spotify and netflix without reloading(but if turned off/on everything start to reload). I dont notice lags.
On my lg tv(webos) the apple tv+ app works seamless but every other app even the UI feels littel inconsistent and the best part is TV is 4K but whole UI is 1080p upscaled.
So I recently switched to apple tv and I have been loving it. Though my reasons for switching were completely different and probably something many others could relate to. A good chunk of the Indian consumer base are buying affordable 4k smart tvs like I did, but the problem with these devices is that their HDR sucks (with very low peak brightness to support such content). With all the OTT platforms now coming up with HDR content, my content consuming experience just deteriorated significantly over time. Unfortunately, android tv os and fire stick does not allow to disable HDR completely which is something Apple TV provides flexibility in (along with Jio Set up box which is like the only other option in India but the experience is far worse). It's been over a month that I got the apple tv and I've been really happy with the performance and since I'm heavily invested in the apple ecosystem, my tv watching experience has improved significantly.
Same. I have an 2021 Macbook Pro M1 Pro , Iphone 11 , Apple TV and a homepod mini (most of the products are passed from my brother and dad lol)... The ecosystem is like heaven... Everything is smooth like butter and seamless..

If you have android tv built into a 2019 and greater sony tv, this is still better then apple tv because the apps are optimized the video quality for the tv and it has a fast processor that makes the system pretty slick, they also now have a android tv remote app that is really good. What it lacks is the multitasking and search abilities of the apple tv, although with that said the voice search in the youtube app is far better then the one in the apple tv app. So probably if you dont have a newer sony tv and your considering purchasing a smart tv box, yeah the apple tv is the best choice, but if you have a 2019 or newer sony tv that is still the built in android tv is the better option, not to mention there is always hdmi cec issues when using an external player with sound bars etc. Although even then you could just buy a google tv dongle chromestick which value for money is much better then the apple tv as its way cheaper but still a pretty fast smooth experience

Very interesting video. I am using Shield TV, except for unified media controls everything else mentioned is there. I don't see unified media controls, multi profiles as a plus point as it limits other companies to innovate and do better and we need to relearn how use a app on Mobile (Android) and TV. Most of the TVs are underpowered with 4 low power cores, hence laggy experience. I’ve been using Apple TV since I switched to iPhone and it’s hones so much better then every other Android TV device I have ever used. Google needs to take some notes from Apple on how to make the OS better
This is the video I have been waiting for
You should make a video about Airpods Max and Airpods pro with Apple TV doing Dolby Atmos on available content on AppleTv+ and Netflix. I am hooked to the max and it's dope.!!!
correct me if i’m wrong or mistaken, but since the apple tv doesn’t support 120hz, wont sports on hotstar etc display in 60hz? that’s a big bummer right there
I am using fire tv stick 2nd gen for few year's, it's cool
Awesome video completely agree with our all the ponts. Looking forward for full review of apple tv 4k next.
I have a small doubt, how good is the relationship between apple TV and Android phone.
Is there a way to cast youtube from Android to Apple TV?
3:43 Swiftkey is better than GBaord in iOS. GBoard feels like a mess.
Swiftkey also has a blur background to match the glassmorphism of iOS.
Love your videos man! 👏🏻
This comparison was much needed😍😍
Beebom, it’s obvious you haven’t checked out Nvidia shield TV pro. Stuff like multitasking, up scaling and keyboard mouse using Nvidia shield app is easily done. Yeah uniformity in search interface between apps is lacking but apart from that why don’t you check it out? And of course ability to stream AAA quality games from your gaming PC to your living room TV!
I wouldn’t discount Android Tv totally like you seem to clearly do. And you forget the biggest advantage to be able to side load apps. Can you do that in Apple TV? Nope.
I don’t agree with your “far Far FAR F A R” comment. Yeah there are some things Apple TV OS does better but the chasm isn’t so huge like you are trying to make it sound like.
Uniformity sucks. Apple TV is missing app support for many apps that don't give a shit about uniform UIs. And even the ones that do have to remove many feature
I have bought Nokia 43 inch in 31k I haven't ever notice any lag or crashed it's smooth as butter, you're opinions may be fit to cheap android TV
Which TV are you using or would you recommend i am looking for one?
why nobody is talking about this? thank you for the insight beebom!
* Thank You For Your and Effort & Dedication To Make This Video.
* Please Make More Videos.
Multitasking and search engine alone makes it better! I use Apple TV 4K for all streaming apps and Nvidia Shield for watching movies from the hard drive!
Oh my god! This is awesome and I badly need those IOS (TVOS) features in Android really... Thanks for bringing this video and I didn't know about this ... Really I appreciate you guys and really Beebom is always having an unique experience to watch videos ... Keep doing this kind of videos and we are waiting for it 😍🤩💖
Just shows how smooth and optimised Apple does things.
Paisa ho toh kya kuchh nahin ho sakta
@@shubhamjohri290 Abey tu kuch chaman h kya BC? Android ke tatte harr jagah aa jata h Apple ki burai karne, bhikari tere pe paise nhi h Toh sabko kosse ga kya? Android TV does have multitasking though. You double press the home button. I guess it depends on the device/tv. Works seem-lessly on my shield TV.
That multitasking convinced me for the Apple TV
Loved the content and way of representing !! Keep going !!
Beebom: Average Apple TV fan.
My middle class family: Average DishTV Enjoyer.
Really a great content, and a different one, we really need this type of content..
Awesome review. I thought it’s going yo be another usual english title with indian guy speaking hindi. Great video 👍
You missed one HUGE upside to the Apple TV which is using it with AirPods!
Dolby Atmos with Spatial Audio is AMAZING! And when you use it in transparency mode it's completely mind blowing. Like having surround sound booming from all angles of the room you're in, while hearing what's going on around you, but it's all in your headphones.
This works with the Google TV as well. Have the Samsung Buds Live and they work flawlessly with Google TV. Just wish they had a quick pair feature.
@@hafuridotus quick pairing is great. But sometimes a bit aggressive.
WE CAN ALSO TYPE ANYTHING FROM ANDROID PHONE WHICH WILL SHOW IN THE ANDROID TV, JUST NEED TO INTEGRATE PHONE AND TV.
ANDROID PHONE CAN BE USED FOR ANYTHING IN ANDROID TV
Whether it’s iOS, iPad OS or tvOS all this stuff is arguably the best operating systems on the market!
I can see I'm watching this 2 year slater, and you managed to sell the idea of having this to me
We love this getting better and better at time ☺️,
Agree with your opinion sir. Good video. Liked it.
This video is just a two line monologue.
Rupesh: Hey! Android TV, you suck. So f**k off.
Rupesh: tvOS, give me a hug.
Yup
Yes even a huge difference in price!
How to activate the universal media player? In my apple tv, each app has their own placement for captions and stuff :/
Hello bro, pls don't ignore me. Pls answer my question. Is there Chaupal app in Apple TV? And where can I buy it?
i just have one question that i have a Samsung so will i be able to setup apple tv cause it does look refined and worth buying
You: You will want to try out apple TV
me: You're gonna pay ?
You forgot one point. Google Tv's recommendation is much better than apple's one because Google also uses our search results to show recommendations.
The typing feature is on Android now by using Google remote on the phone
It would have been good if you told if iPhone is required for TVOS or if it is compatible with Android phones too!
Not needed. Having apple devices is just a plus point because they all will be connected together.
I have airtel xtreme box from 2019 so is it worth to shift to Apple TV in 2022?
Using Apple TV 4k from 2019. It’s really amazing experience that android TV can never give. Ever forever
Will it improve the picture quality if tv supports hdr10 and dolby vision if streaming same content without apple tv dosen't look that good. Will apple tv improve it?
It can. Because the apple TV has a feature that if you have an iPhone, you can use that to calibrate the display.
I have recently bought Apple TV 4k 3rd gen but in my apple tv, i am not getting universal UI like your case.. could you please tell me how to enable universal UI for hotstar, prime video, netflix as you have shown in this video?
Love the features on tvOS. I'm satisfied with support and experience on my 3 yr old mitv... the whole 43" tv was the same price of the apple tv box . But yes Google can definitely improve a lot of things in software if they wanted to...😅
It's not google, they provide software, real problem its manufacturers, I have an Android smartv and I follow forums where I found newers version of Android tv (TCL low price) and I update it and really my experience get better with the last version that install on my tv, it's got very smooth, soon I'll get android 11 tv (beta now) hope that improve many things, bugs and gives a plus on performance
Awesome video 🔥🔥
I didn't even know about this really cool gesture of the Apple TV remote to seek forward/backward. 😍🤩
Can't say how practical this is. One can just press the left/right arrow buttons.
Loving that keyboard part....need asap in Android TV 🙏
Thanks bhai for this type of informative video.
Thank you. Great video
Is there any option to watch live channels in apple tv?
I hope Google TV soon give us a section of Live Tv channels
I have all the apps logged in with subscription and have to open the apps to play live channel
Great comparison thank you .
Have been using sub standard android tv for years and wondered what apple’s version was like .
Thanks again.
good video , recently ordered mi tv box, but tvOS was looking awesome .... hope some day will try it
FInally, we have a good Apple TV review which I can send to my friend without me jabbering for half an hour justifying why I can spend so much on a set-top box. It is all about the experience.
Would love a video comparing lg webos and others
Definitely Apple is improving the ATV very slow, but in a good direction
I've never felt the need to get an apple tv because my LG tv has all the apps I need on the store e.g youtube, netflix, disney, prime video, BBC player spotify... And it also supports Airplay and Chromecast so anything else I can just do from my phone. But I would like to try one for the experience
There is no doubt Google has to do better to improve the experience(see how firestick is smooth in low powered devices). I have also used WebOs on TVs, it is definitely better experience than Android, but app support is an issue(no Sony LIV).
Don't worry. Apple media controls are already light years ahead than any embedded app media controls. You will appreciate only when you use it.
It's NVIDIA Shield TV.
@@JohnnyBravoGn they're gone now, atleast on prime video
@@ahobaka1495 not sure what are you referring to? Those are still there
@@JohnnyBravoGn i have 2022 apple tv device with latest tvOS (v 16.4.2) and I'm seeing different player for all apps just like Android tv & not a unified player as shown in video.
Guys I need a help... Can you say me which tvbox has optical output/hdmi audio out except mibox . Currently I own fire stick and mibox. Mibox kindof stuck and audio is not clear. But in other hand firestick has good quality over audio but doesn't have dedicated optical audio output.
I have a lg tv which has almost every feature that tvos. has I can type from my phone and there is a universal search feature in lg webos but it lacks universal video player and I can only type in search box when the app uses lg keyboard so not every app uses lg keyboard
