Is the 85" TCL QM8 going to sell out? Also, should I wait to get the new TCL Qm7 instead? Will that be better or cheaper than the 2023 QM8?

S90C. C3 is comparatively dull and the game mode is not as good.
I have to ask why not get the Sony X90L over the Samsung? You've said multiple times how it handles low bit rate upscaling better so the streaming experience would be better. It sounds like a contradiction. Are you making the assumption that the use case would be 4K Blu-ray movie watching as opposed to streaming UA-cam, Netflix or some other service?
Yea I know, countless videos about the XR clear chip and superior back lighting technology now he's doing some advertising and all that goes out the window

LOVE the ❤U8K 75” . I can NEVER look at any --Matte Tinted SONY X90 level (any SONY at X90 or below are matte mushy layered on their screen) ever again.

Fomo love S90C😉 and i love my S95B, i never buy oled with one connect box,its so slow and has many issues with aerial tv,hdmi and gaming is so much slower

Witch of this TV have wifi 6?? Most of tv i can find for 2000-2500 $ have wifi 5 witch really sucks. I buy TV for 5-6 years and they will have the slowest wifi in mine home network.

The 85-inch Sony X90CL from Costco is perfect for me. It's that perfect sweet spot which balances performance, size, and price. Its price fluctuates between $1,999.99 and $2,199.99. Unlike the Samsung, it supports Dolby Vision. It excels in so many areas of performance at once, including PQ EOTF tracking, HDR color volume, HDR gradiant handling, pre calibration color accuracy, and sustained full-screen brightness. What about the TCL QM8! While not quite as good as the Samsung, Hisense, or Sony, it does have a lot going for it for $1,800. While it's not popular, the $5,000 Hisense 85UX is a decent all-in-one TV / sound system.
Pretty sure the TCL QM8 is the better consensus pick over the Hisense.
Came for a list of 85 inch tvs and the first one isn't even 85.
