Another Easter egg: behind every Fortaleza label is the Los Abuelos insignia, acid etched into the glass. It’s Los Abuelos in Mexico, but called Fortaleza in the US due to a trademark dispute.
I think Tequilas can use brick ovens...diffusers or autoclave. The cheaper Tequilas use diffusers....diffuser tequilas are normally additive bombs to produce a flavor. Brick or clay ovens and autoclave produce the best tequila. At least some mezcal is roasted in the earth giving it a different smoky flavor than tequila.
Hard to find in the Northern Suburbs of Illinois, had to go to Kenosha Wisconsin, not that far to find it. This is one of the best Blancos I have ever tried. Good video, well done.
Found 2 bottles in Hot Springs Arkansas last year for $55 a piece. Best price I've found in my area(Houston) is $70-$100.
