They best the best my favorite G4
G4 is such a solid tequila. Felipe Camarena "the mad scientist" was an engineer and applies his knowledge to making tequila. If you see the G4 Madera blanco, try that one too. They ferment with the agave fibers where the regular G4 blanco does not. Your tasting notes and smell are spot on. We get a bit of buttery sweetness on the smell and taste. It coats the mouth really well.
G4 and Felipe Camarena will be in Las Vegas next month for the launch of The Las Vegas Tequila club. Very excited!

Going price for G4 Blanco is $44-$50 at the 3 places I go to buy it. G4 is definitely a top 5 Blanco for me! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

You need to get and try Terralta Blanco next. Also from NOM 1579 and uses only deep well water. I like it even more than G4 Blanco. Cheers

Agreed! Terralta made by Felipe and it’s his most complex! Not that expensive either! Same price as his G4!
This is definitely a good one… G4 madera blanco is hard to find. I’ve seen the high proof 108 in the wild, but it may also not be easy to find, but if you do, you should compare it… you can also compare it to Terralta, Volans or Don Vicente, which are more easy to find
We will be on the lookout. If we ever get our hands on it we will compare them :)
Ooh Terralta 110 is 🔥🔥🔥. We have the regular repo which is good too. Love the complexity the deep well water adds to the flavor.
If you guys like G4 you will also like tequila ocho. Great stuff! It comes from Filipe Camarena’s brother Carlos. Would like to see you guys review that.

I agree that the nose smells very earthy/vegetal…almost off putting for me. Tastes great, though. Picked mine up last month for $49.99 (Minneapolis).
Yeah it’s crazy how different the smell is from the taste. I wouldn’t say it’s bad. It’s just nothing special.
I bought a new car a week ago. The dealer was trying to talk to me about Tequila he was like “I’m in love with Casa Azul” and other bull shit like that. Then I bring up G4 and he says it’s the worst tequila he’s ever had and said it tastes like perfume. All the glitter is not gold
