So many beautiful things in your garden ! From the color and texture of the plants to all the urns and statues ! I love the doorway just like stepping to a different world ! It’s Such a fairy tale garden! Thanks for sharing ❤️
What an absolutely glorious garden you have created, Justin! I love all the arrangements in the urns, the statuary and the fountains. Just beautiful! You seem like such a lovely person, and it is reflected in the beauty you have all around you. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous space with us.
Hello, so nice of you to comment and say such nice things, very kind and makes me feel very happy. I'm glad you could visit the gardens and enjoy them so much! :-)
Justin so good to see you again. It has been quite a summer in the Western Prairies of Alberta Canada as well. With our first snow fall today, I am very grateful to see your gardens and thank you for the propagation tips. Your story of how you came to garden would be interesting, and I think most of us who love garden, will undoubtedly be inspired. Care and tips for boxwood, companion plants, care for roses….just about any topic that you think would be of interest, would be most welcome for future videos. With winter fast approaching we have more time to ponder and plan for spring and your inspiration will always be appreciated. Oh…love the new fountain, truly beautiful as well as Romeo and Juliette.
Hello, seems very early for snow but we hardly ever get any here, it's still very mild and we haven't had a 'real' frost yet, all the better for the tender plants! I'll take on board your recommendations, I could tell lots of stories about gardening and some of the places I've ended up and the odd people I've encountered!! Plenty of ideas about boxwood and preserving it, and cuttings too. So glad you like the statue and fountain, they're perfect additions :-)
It fits in just right, and it'll soften when the plants grow up and around it. I'm so pleased you enjoyed watching and taking ideas from what I've created :-)
Your garden looks amazing it shows your hard work over the summer love the statues and fountains, love the Manor house garden its amazing, Great to see you back Justin look forward to your videos
It's been a great summer, we had so many visitors to the old manor house for charity, nobody was disappointed so we keep making it better and better. I'm planning for Spring next, so watch out for tulip planting!
I'm glad you're back, Justin! Thank you for sharing your garden (as well as the Manor House garden) with us - it's so beautiful. The fountain and statue are really wonderful additions. I also enjoyed seeing your pottery collection - such uplifting colours!
Hello! It's great to be back and in the world of gardens where anything is possible. I've just been to look at the Old Manor House, the gardens are still full of colour. I have quite a few more pieces of pottery, they make me feel very happy when I look at them. So much joy. Thanks for your lovely comments and for enjoying the video :-)
Hello again, the cat is like my sidekick, he follows me everywhere when I go. Everythings looking nice but slowly going to sleep. I think it'll be getting frosty soon so had better be prepared!
I'm so glad to see your beautiful garden again Justin. Summer here in Kentucky was brutal this year. We had record heat and no rain for months. I'm rethinking my own garden for next year and removing many of the moister loving plants and replacing them with more drought tolerant plants. Again, so glad you are back, and things are looking better for you.
Hello James, thanks for coming back. It sounds quite soul destroying having so much heat and your plants suffering. It must be very hard to keep everything going. Probably a wise move, going over to more drought tolerant plants but if you're like us we want to grow tropical plants in a cold climate which isn't easy. We make hard work for ourselves don't we but the love of it is what keeps us persevering!
Hello Justin! It is wonderful to see you again! It sounds like you had a nice summer. Your garden, even in the autumn looks like a dream. Love the new fountain! You asked for suggestions for videos: anything that you think worthy enough to film would be just fine with me. A simple walk-through warms my soul.
It was a lovely summer, only very busy, so next year I'm cutting down on a lot of things so I have time to enjoy everything I've been creating. Plenty of opportunities to do walk-through, here and at the Old Manor House, so much going on! Thanks for commenting, and for watching my video, it's nice to know they're being enjoyed :-)
Stunning, you have the most beautiful garden! The fountain looks fabulous, I love every detail in your garden, you have put a lot of love and work into, and it really shows… ❤❤❤❤
Lovely to come across ur videos again! Ur garden evokes such a feeling of peace & tranquility, I cld sit & just meditate in there. Watching from New Zealand as we head into our long hot summer 🌻
Hi Justin! So happy to see you and your lovely gardens again. This past summer our area was extremely hot with no respite of cool. The sun seemed much more intense and plant pots had to be moved around. We are experiencing a beautiful fall and trying to enjoy it to the fullest. Really like all your new statuary; a wonderful addition. Would like to see future segments on your transition from summer plants to the upcoming fall and winter. Do you pull up your annual pots or move some into an enclosed space? Thank you and would also like to hear about your holiday. You are so talented and I would appreciate any tips on your thought processes on gardening.
Hi again, thanks for calling by! We seem to have a similar summer, all watering and no time to enjoy anything, I did get very strong arms though as a result of carrying watering cans about. I'll take on board your suggestions and incorporate them into future videos. I'm still to transition the garden to winter, very mild so still able to enjoy some of the annual plants. Most of them go in the compost bin, but the good ones I preserve in pots in the cool greenhouse, or if they're a bit tender i bring them into the house and we cohabit until the spring :-)
I think we'll be sweeping for the next month at least, we make wonderful compost from ours. You could, it depends on the plant but if you want them to be more bushy then that's a good idea :-)
Hello Justin, I am happy to see you again. What a comfort to find your video as a counterbalance to all the upsetting political nonsense we are experiencing in USA. Plus today when I was cleaning my veg garden several voles suddenly appeared and one of them ran over my foot while the others were going in circles. So this is very good for me💚💚💚
Hello, thanks for calling by! Everything seems unstable at the moment but the one thing we can retreat to is our gardens, they always welcome us and look after us! I love voles, they're the sweetest things (apart from when they eat your plants!) Happy Gardening :-)
I love your channel i am watching from South Africa. I share your video with friends. My garden has mainly succulents. The soil is full of stones. I would love some bright colour flowers that can survive full sun and wind. Love the cat.
Hi, it's nice of you to drop by. You'll have a whole different type of garden, I wonder if there are any plants which grow in the fynbos that might survive in your garden. I know you have a lot of wild plants that we cultivate as annuals. Salvias might do well :-)
@justinthegardener Thank you for getting back to me. I love Sylvia's they also struggle a bit in the harsh sun. I have just planted some sunflowers as they cope with the sun. I plan on getting some fynboss.
@justinthegardener It certainly is. I had the great privilege of visiting the Chelsea flower show in Stanford last month. It was absolutely spectacular. The proteas and fynbos were breathtakingly beautiful.
Thank you so much! 🌿 We're thrilled to have you back in Justin's Garden! Excited to share more green inspiration and gardening tips with you. Let’s make this season beautiful together!
Welcome back, Justin, at last!! 😆 😄 I thought perhaps you'd abandoned your beautiful channel, or that something was wrong. I opened the Premier midway so will watch from the beginning. I am so glad you have been working through what you need to and haven't given up your channel 🌺🌷🌻🪻😆
Hello Angel, thanks for the other messages you left. I find it hard to get things going again sometimes - a bit like starting an old car! I've really enjoyed making the video and have lots of lovely things to share from the summer, I've missed being here 🙂 I don't think I'll ever be able to stop gardening. I'm not sure how premieres work I just pressed the button and it seemed to happen! 😅
