Being from Edmonton, its funny listening to others continually underrate the Oilers (with a 16gm win streak this year, 3 playoff round wins, two of which they weren't supposed to win according to "experts") and who don't watch Oilers games making predictions. Let's go Oilers!
No experts here lol. The biggest concern I would have if I was a fan of your team is the Skinner factor. He could be amazing or not…just seems like a wild card.
Hey Boys, the 1906 Chocolat Meurisse card is not ice hockey, it is actually a game called "Bandy", its almost like field hockey on ice. Many assume these early type of trade cards are ice hockey, however they are not. So when you see a ball, its Bandy.
Hey Josh and Troy! Long time listener! Really appreciate all the great info! I was wondering if you can answer/talk about OPC Platinum Color Wheel cards. They are amazing looking cards and very little information about them. Hope you can share about this area of the hobby. Thanks and keep up the great job! Brad Fitz
Hockey cards are cheap... some of the best players are "wow cheap". My fave player Jagr cant find a bid with that Titanic population....One insurance policy for Edmonton is their Power Play... are the PAnthers going to go nuts hitting and giving up PP's left and right? The Oilers have the soldiers and size to hit back.... Oilers in 6 or 7 IMO... who knows ~ I havent looked forward to a SCF in 30 years like I am watching this one.... total Dog Fight.
Great point about the Oilers PP as a neutralizer for the Panthers physicality. Appreciate you chiming in and yes, comparative to other sports...hockey cards are pretty cheap.

The players on the Oilers nick name for RNH is "Nuggy"
Makes sense.....doesn't every hockey player end up with a "Y" nickname? Appreciate you chiming in and adding to the convo!

Appreciate your kind words Brad. We'll add your question to our next mailbag!
“PLB’s sugar daddy, Rob Blake” from now on
When calculating league revenue, is gambling revenue included? That is the big question. I cannot find any information on that after 2018
Not sure....would't think so though.

Synergy is nice looking but seems very gimmicky.
