Inverter wise you can get a 12v-240v inverter that plugs into a standard 12v cigarette lighter socket, can get about 300w out of it more than enough for a laptop
Probably the best no frills car electrical build I've seen. That in-line fuse is sus if it didn't blow when you bridged the battery terminals. You should verify it blows when it's supposed to.
He should have put in a 12v outlet next to the USB and then you could have bought a 12v laptop charger so you could charge your laptop in the car, rather than going down the 240v inverter option he mentioned.
@@tbr7035 Well it depends what laptop you have. If you have a high performance gaming laptop then yes maybe. But my Lenovo original charger is 65w and my car charger is 65w. Upto 90w units are easily available.
Excellent work chaps. I heard Billy got the gig for the next series of Top Gear

Look forward to seeing where you install the shitter 😝👍
Always wonder what the reaction is going to be when you try and MOT something like this.
Insurance asks if there's been any conversions... Er no, just a standard Aygo. They wouldn't believe you anyway 🤣
Lovely stuff fellas x
Loving the progress you've made. Mad that you've all that in a car as small as a bloody Aygo. Nice work lads. Look forward to the next one
Love how this is turning out!
Hahahaha bill needs to be a regular guest
This is so amazing. Never thought, that you could transform a car like that. So much stuff fitting in a rather small one.

The editing took a lot of time :D
You lot made me laugh. It’s going great. You’ll be on the next in no time.
Bonkers!!! Totally love it !!!
You don't need an inverter to charge a laptop.
You just need a 12v-19v boost converter
Great video mate! Have you got the link for the curtains?
It seems fine for short weekend trips! if your not claustrophobic.

It will take forever to charge though. Inverter is by far the best option

@@tbr7035 No it won't most laptop chargers are 65-90W, same with the 12V chargers.
Interesting stuff, I’ll pass this on the Ben see what he says. That panel is very accessible so can always add it in if possible nice one 👍👍
Get a laptop that charges over USB-c and forget about transformers and inverters!
