My mother was diagnosed with Eczema and suffered for more than 10 years. She found a book that mentioned an allergy to propylene glycol which is in many foods, skin care products, laundry soap, hand soap, dish soap and many more products. After removing food and products with this ingredient, she no longer has any breakouts. Maybe there is something similar that is causing an allergic reaction for others reading this who suffer with Eczema.

I just looked up the products you use and they're available on Amazon, if anyone is looking for them. :)

Thank you for sharing, Miwa! I too have issues with eczema and dry skin. And since watching your videos, I have incorporated more veggies and Japanese cuisine into my diet. And feel and look healthier - especially my skin! I’m currently in Tokyo and bought/tried Curél and it has saved my post-flight skin flying 14hrs from London. So gentle and light, yet deeply moisturising. Japanese skincare is years ahead of the United Kingdom! I have since bought the entire range of Curél products these past few days in Tokyo, haha. You can also now buy Curél in London’s Covent Garden branch of Boots. But of course, it’s much cheaper in Tokyo. Thank you Miwa for your recipes and words of wisdom. 🥰

For the skin care part, an option to consider is Chagrin Valley Soap and Salve in Ohio, USA. They ship internationally. I love the face cream especially and appreciate they don’t use fragrances or plastics.

The importance of maintaining (or building!) your gut health, and how it affects things like your skin and sleep, is incredibly interesting! I appreciate how you mentioned how the "small side dishes" help you to ensure you're supporting your gut health. I think it's important to specifically say, for anyone who might be reading this, that variety in the probiotics we ingest is also really important. So it's great to have different sources of probiotics with different dishes, because different strains help with different things, as well as of course keeping/making your gut healthy. Your immunity also comes from your gut, so it's win-win to maintain it. 🙂 Also, I make my own moisturizer, because it gets VERY dry in the winter here, and it can get very cold, both of which take a toll on skin. It works better than any other moisturizer I've found, and it can be used as a wash-out hair mask too. 🙂

Wow! You make your own one? That's ideal! I always wanted to make the one which perfectly fits my skin. Thank you for the wonderful insight!

Your skin looks great. I am going to be 42 this year and it definitely takes a little more effort and less slacking than when I was younger but hydration is also very important. It’s easier in the summer when there is so much fruit and coconut water available and that’s all you crave

    Your foods look delicious!
I never had skin issues, look younger than I am, no pimples. Nothing. I seem to be unable to build muscle, just like my dad. And only need to shave my face once per month at age 32 because it grows extremely slow.
I used to have a lot of bowel issues, until I had antibiotics for an unrelated wound infection. It solved the problem and I have been trying to keep a good balance inside since.
I also had no need for the subtitles. Your English is great!

I believe that I do feel better by using your recipes to increase the amount of fish and vegetables in my diet. I also have been using more fermented products.

For psoriasis, I ground 1/4 teaspoon of black cumin seeds. If you don't like it, you can add it to soya yoghurt, salad or food. If it doesn't help, take freshly crushed black cumin seeds twice a day.
Also helps with the bronchial tubes and some people with asthma and the coronary system

@@jaspermay5813 In any case, I would first try a remedy that cannot cause any side effects, such as
      skin drying, burning, itching
      telangiectasia
      folliculitis
      Steroida
There are also anti-inflammatory foods that also support the body. We should take care of our kidneys and avoid harmful substances.

Guys, it's mostly genetics. Almost all Asian people age great. So, take it into consideration before you just start buying beauty skin products recommended by her: no offence meant, just bear this in mind.
