Almost the same that every person. Battery pack, tablet (for productivity and games), some tools, a notebook for taking notes (old fashion) and a special section with medications for my illness (minimum 2 weeks of treatment). Also a water bottle.
I bought my leather man Wave 15 years ago. Still looks to be in pristine condition, even though I've carried it daily and used it in media production or IT, except when flying, since I got it. It’s amazing.
I always have with me my Bluetooth headphones, swiss army knife, power bank, a power adaptor, several USB cables, either my psvita or 3ds for gaming or music player (I'm old School), and a wired earphones just in case my headphones needs to charge or Bluetooth is not working, also I bring my tablet sometimes.
The list of the things I carry on my EDC are hand Sanitizer, a couple of extra face masks, my phone and tablet or laptop (it depends on the day, If I have a lot of classes I carry the laptop, if not I carry the iPad), headphones, wallet, keys, sunglasses, a power bank with a little 2 in 1 charging cable, a notebook with a mechanical pencil and a pen, and I know this might sound weird but I also carry a small bag inside my back bag which I keep a few medical supplies in, things like bandaids some Asprin and that sort of things, a tiny toothbrush and toothpaste, and a small bottle of cologne namely YSL La nuit de l'homme. because sometimes I am working late and you need to freshen up!
I settled in between. I've always had a huge backpack with everything in it. I tried following the EDC method but it's not for me. If I'm missing a tool or cable, that's lost time and time is money. Now, I still use my backpack but I took a lot out of it to reduce the weight. Things that didn't make the cut would be my notebook and the 100 in 1 screwdriver set. Realistically I never write on paper and a standard Phillips screwdriver works for me 99% of the time.
My favorite pocket tool i carry everywhere is a Leatherman Squirt PS4. It's only 2.25" long closed so you don't even feel it in your pocket but it can be very handy.
I don't have a bag.... I have cargo pants. XD I carry screw drivers, 2 phones, keys, a wireless charger, 2.5 SSDs, RAM, my eye glass cleaner, wallet, pens, sometimes I carry a drink in my hoodie pocket, External HDDs, and an assortment of cables for work.
I personally have a Surface book 2 15 inch, 2013 retina macbook pro 15 inch, iPad mini 5, iPhone 11, Galaxy note 8, Apple watch series 6, Sony WH1000XM4 headphones, Airpods 2, Razer hammerhead tws earbuds (sometimes replaced with galaxy buds but I find them too uncomfortable), Microsoft arc mouse and surface pen for surface book, Apple magic mouse for macbook, Apple pencil for iPad, currently waiting for the Steam Deck, the chargers for both laptops, some cellphone charging cables, also an anker portable charger, every so often I'll bring my Nintendo switch with me. Yes this is a lot of tech, I don't always carry all of it, but I alternate depending on what I am doing that day or week, only once have I ever had it all in one bag, generally one laptop, iPad, both phones and earbuds, and apple watch
Cables, power bank, Samsung galaxy tab S7, Xbox controller, Nintendo switch, Nintendo DSi with home brew (gotta carry all my legitimate copies of games with me). iPhone 13 pro max, some alcohol wipes, micro fiber cleaning cloths, and my ifixit pro tech tool kit.
I have a cheapo backpack which always has my Soundcore Q20, a Chuwi HI10 Go as my convertible for on the go and remote access to my desktop, a Pixel 3a, Xiaomi powerbank, iFixit Minnow Kit, Swiss Army Knife, and the most recent addition, a PS Vita for gaming on the go
I used to carry a battery pack everywhere, nowadays in the rare occasion my phone dies past 7pm and i'm not home yet, I kinda feel a relieve and don't charge it or turn it on before i get home. Granted I'm old and I don't hang out that much anymore.
i have a compact camera case with some gear- multi head charger cable, gerber dime multi tool, nail clippers, rechargeable torch, band aids, a few coins and notes. i also have a pouch with some basic medications- paracetamol, Imodium, sinus relief, a chap stick, a stainless steel extendable straw. Water bottle, battery pack for phone. basic stuff
EDC: -iPhone 12 Pro -Galaxy Z Fold3 -AirPods Pro -Sig Sauer p365 with a 507k Green Dot, 15rd mag with a 12rd mag in a Tier 1 Axis Elite holster -Benchmade Bugout -Surefire Stiletto Pro -carbon fiber Ridge wallet
Nice! I've got a Glock 43x with a Streamlight TLR-6 laser/torch and tritium sights. Ten round mag, but I can carry a 15 round mag if I want. I use a cheap ass kydex holster for CCW and it's comfortable as anything. The trick it having the right belt. Groove Life belts are where it's at.
its interesting seeing the edcs of different people. personally mines usually is 2 knives, a watch, flashlight, pen, and my phone, but im not really a tech person of any kind so it was cool to see this.
M1 Macbook Nintendo Switch OLED Ravpower USB C 60W 20k+ MAH powerbank Keychron K12 Keyboard W/ Gateron Pro Browns Lubed with XDA PBT Keycaps. JBL Charge 5 BT Speaker Any recent smartphone My Tech bag to keep all relevant cables, external SSD's etc. That's really all the tech I can't live without. Anything else I could do without if I had to. Non tech I need one of my good pocket knives on me always, right now it's the WE knives banter w/ 20CV steel.
When I was looking for a new laptop my top 3 main considerations were 14 inch screen, reasonably light as I'm currently cycle around with it in my bag, and then reasonable power graphics. I settled on an Asus vivobook pro 14 with the i5-11300h and a gtx 1650 max q
My everyday carry is pretty much just my phone (note 20 ultra ) and my purse plus various medication I need. There's no real need for much more than that, especially recently where I've been stuck inside for 6 weeks following weeks in hospital due to breaking my ankle. Whilst in hospital I was glad to have my tablet, kobo and a battery bank, though I elected to leave the switch and other tech at home to reduce chance of theft or breakage.
As far as EDC goes, I only carry my phone, keys, a pocket knife, and a Gerber Multi Pliers. I don't have far to go to work, so I just use my car's FM radio. I don't play games outside of home unless it's a quick game of solitaire or water sorting puzzle on my phone. If I'm traveling, I've gone back to carrying an iPod Classic for music, my DSi for portable gaming or my laptop for gaming where I'm staying. I do have power cords for everything in a flat tackle box organizer in my backpack, and accessories for the laptop like a wireless Razer mouse, headphones, and a collapsible stand to get better airflow at a desk/table.
Oh, and a power strip for traveling, too. That way I've got a single place to plug in everything in the same location. That way I'm not searching frantically when I'm ready to leave, making sure I didn't leave something plugged into an inconvenient outlet because I couldn't find any place else to plug into.
for me i keep a cocoon grid-it (thanks Excessorize Me) which has my Aukey power bank, a 3-in-1 cable (type c, micro, lighting), a multi-adapter cable card, a usb apple watch charger, a magsafe power bank (yeah i carry two power banks), my ps vita with carrying case and games, i keep a magsafe wallet on my iphone attached a usb c/type-a duo wall plug, apple watch usb cable adapter to charge my apple watch.
I just carry an S21 Ultra with the silicone S-Pen case, Galaxy Buds pro in a carabiner case, old fast charger from my old S9+, 8ft braided USB-C cable, multi tool/function pen, wallet. I just have a big jacket with big pockets that I can stick all of this stuff in, granted most of it is small. And if ever need my laptop, I have this neat blue laptop/book bag that has a bunch of slim pockets and big pockets for whatever, I stick a mouse, the laptop, and it's charger in there.
So I work at Walmart so I carry 2 phones work (cheap Samsung gets the job done) personal phone (galaxy fold 3) Galaxy buds, either a Gameboy or DS to play on my lunch and just a box cutter.
The interview is good, but i see the comparison EDC Chaotic: Matt (i wonder if matt is a big tech prepper?) EDC Chill: Ken Bolido. and i've wondered whats about EDC's Austin... i bet just only his phone and keys. Good video, keep it up.
Knife, two flash drive(256GB and 64GB, different purposes), 2 click pens - black ink for official documents, Ridge wallet, High Luminosity flashlight, and my Samsung S20 FE 5G is my best carry.
my every day carry bag consists of my MSI GF76, xbox controller, spare vape batteries, a spiral notebook, a double sided screw driver, and my external SSD
In my pockets: knife (6 that i rotate), wallet, phone, Refyne pen, Reylight flashlight, Gerber dime, and key fob on a Gerber Mullet. In my sling: Battery pack, USB c and lightning port cable, moleskin, extra wireless earbuds and wired earbuds, a "survival kit" for the Mrs.

i carry a powerbank, headphones, my phone, my iPod, a 30pin cable, PSP, mini usb cable, charger for the psp, usb cable for my phone, usb otg cable, 2 small screwdrivers and 2 USB drives.
When I was younger my bag was full of crap. Had a sketchbook, GBA, a Rio Diamond MP3 player and a trusty Nokia 6110 phone. My phone pretty much covers all of those things. I’ll have an iPad with me too. I have a bunch of gadgets. I have a GPD XD and an Ambernic for emulation. I have a Surface Pro 8 MacBook Pro 16”, 2 iPads a mini and a pro, and countless other crap. But I leave them at home. Last thing I need is to carry all that crap everytime I leave the house 😅.
My EDC consists of my phone (with a MagSafe wallet attached), a pistol, and a knife. Occasionally, I'll add my AirPods pro to that. I don't like carrying a purse/bag (although this is unavoidable when I leave the house for more than an hour at a time with my youngest daughter because she is still in diapers) so I try to keep it limited to what can fit in my undersized pockets.

For the money I've come to really like the sling bags, and mini backpacks Target carries, as they have good build quality, and tough resistance to slashing with no loud branding saying steal me!! I currently carry the mini backpack in heather grey, and it even holds my fairly big TAL water bottle in the side pockets, along with my mini umbrella on days it might rain, and for my mobile tech devices, I've stuck with the Switch Lite as I really like Nintendo games, and it's more wallet friendly, Moto G series phones offer a lot of value, and great battery life that I upgrade every few years, and I've started to move away from lugging heavy laptops, and onto 10.1in/11in Walmart ONN Android tablets that I can upgrade for cheap every couple of years when the battery starts to give out as they do the vast majority of what I need from a laptop, and I just pair it with a Logitech K480 keyboard, as a lot of Android tablet keyboard cases are hot garbage to type on, and the K480 gives a near full keyboard typing experience, with a heavy but decent key feel for rubber domes, and the fact the batteries are easy to replace, and last a very very long time is a great bonus.
I have multiple EDC Mulitools that i carry depending where i am headed. But one of my favorites is the SOG Baton the profile is awesome for sliding into a pocket. a few differant configs including one with a Pen. i have the Q3
as creator n growing my channel for over year this video is really good way teach smaller channels why us youtubers keep backup phones and devices cause when we not home we can catch epic things on videos
My mom has the Same Samsung S22 Ultra and I use it sometimes to draw or pics because of its awesome gimmicks!😂😂only phone that would make me switch from Apple. Love the content make more videos on emulators!!
My EDC consists of Phone (s10+) wallet (ridge wallet) vapes keys Camera (Sony A7Riii) Laptop (not currently but most of the time) phone charger and laptop charger mouse and sc cards
Given I don’t leave home that much, I don’t have an everyday carry bag. Just my phone, keychain, and wallet. When I do want to being stuff, I put it all in a laptop case or another bag I have.
Ok-With the laptop weight to performance thing-I use an LG gram, about 2 years old. I wanted something new because my needs changed to need a much stronger machine. I bought the Asus Zephyrus G15 running a Ryzen 5900 and 3070. It was great specwise, however, it was so incredibly thick and heavy that I had to return it, so while yes, it was a great machine, I prefer my LG, mock me for liking an LG item.
lol same mentality, i bought a switch but my wife doesnt want to bring it always plus i bought a 15inch laptop that i couldnt carry. Better get a good phone that can emulate other stuffs all in one package and an ipad mini 6
whatever those devices are, if they stick in your possession for years, it contribute less damages than those PC buildiers who swap components every few months.
Yeah it's just a friggin razor knife, I don't know why it's getting so much promotion. I like Jerryrigeverything but damn. It's not better than a $10 one you can pick up from any hardware store.
@@kaldo_kaldo I've had a million of em, and feel like a fancy boi just for having an $11 Milwaukee joint for the last few years. Lol. I don't even want to know what Jerry Riggs cost.
@@DrGooseDuckman I just looked it up, it's $20 regular price but it's on sale right now for $15. I was expecting more but it's already double what it should be.

I always felt "This Is" is so underrated and Matt is killing it. Also, Ken is very underrated. He always does such a great job explaining products
I'm definitely a Matt and I'm proud of it. I even have the same cable bag full of my own cables
Same! I have a really nice zip up case that I carry cables, SSD, SD cards, etc. Very handy.
Almost the same that every person. Battery pack, tablet (for productivity and games), some tools, a notebook for taking notes (old fashion) and a special section with medications for my illness (minimum 2 weeks of treatment). Also a water bottle.
I don't have any of that
I have a portable charger, but that’s it
matt and ken can spice up any nerd/geek/14 year old boy party/sleepover. they just calm me but in a chaotic way.
Nice to see someone who is making use of the duo.
It means that they may have sold one.

Shoutout to the Q20. IMO a great noise cancelling headphone set. Quite comfortable too and great button controls.

3:20 I have not used the MagSafe on my new MacBook Pro either in the 4 months I’ve had it.
I carry my rg351v as my edc not really sold on the rg552
I do the same thing Ken does with his phone, I got a MagSafe wallet too and it’s nice, Apple Pay everything else too 😄
Yes, I want to carry as much as Matt. Yes, I also want to carry as much as Ken. I compromise by carrying not nearly as much as either haha

My edc a bit different, lol. Sig p365, spare mag, kershaw knife, note 9, note 20 ultra, galaxy tab s8 ultra, keys, wallet
I actually carry a duo 2 as well its amazing
I need a newbackpack. The one I got from Wish 3 years ago finally gave out! Now what should I carry in that new backpack is the question!
iPhone, wallet on iPhone, keys, backbone controller, AirPods, vape, vape juice
pelican cases!
Yo that style you should go see your local optometrist. Start with warm compresses/lid massages
Hey ken, I also have a "salmon" s22 ultra I love the color.
can any of the “best friend” help him press the mega zit on his eye already?
I dont know that I would call a designer brand like the north face "utilitarian", but it sure looks comfy for EDC.
Loving the Field Bag, cant find one in the UK tho :(
Where's Austin though??
oh Matt. The 552 is too expensive
You should always have CCW and an extra mag to go with it.
Lets talk about that shirt Ken!
lol same mentality, i bought a switch but my wife doesnt want to bring it always plus i bought a 15inch laptop that i couldnt carry. Better get a good phone that can emulate other stuffs all in one package and an ipad mini 6
my daily carry is just prepared for even the once in a lifetime scenario's
Matt: "I'm gonna whip this out real fast"
Me: "MATT SAVE IT FOR THE ONLY FANS"
whatever those devices are, if they stick in your possession for years, it contribute less damages than those PC buildiers who swap components every few months.
Yeah we love Austin but we was tired. This is........just playing Austin.
A razor blade on a replaceable razor knife cuts like butter? Wow. Must be some wicked engineering on that one. 😂. Shameful plug
Waittttt Matt was a professor 😮
Lol sorry these videos are great but matt do u have pinkeye?
