Had a bunch of codes like these P2509, etc. Cleaned the battery terminals and torqued them down. Have 0 DTCs now. Thanks for taking the time to create and post this video, it was a lifesaver.
How about 2014, 630,000 mis. I drive it 600-1,000 miles, and it will cut out die on highway I coast to berm then it will start rt back up. It is so nerv racking w/ a trailer, I had to buy another truk. Dodge deal didnt know shit.I replaced 6 sensors--- 2 map sens, mass air, camshaft, crankshaft , and crankcase pressure sens. DOES ANYBODY HAVE THIS PROBLEM?? CUT's out drivin then starts back up after i coast it or I can even start it back upwhile coasting in NEUTRAL, to dangerous to keep doing it like that, and I scared there's gonna come a day when the truk aint gonna fire back up??????? Oh I know it ain't fuel pump as I put a brand new DELPHI IN the tank anyhow.And truk ain't no piece a sht, well maintained, AND I EVEN took up the TIPM Cleaned all the connections ( they weren't even dirt) ,then DIELECTRIC greased them. I'm in ELKHART INDIANA , case anyone might know a really SMART ACCOMPLISHED MECHANIC, When I was at Bursnworth CDJR the guy said he doesn't know what's making it cut-out😮, Totally destroys me I got 2 older truks 2005, and 2007 and none of them EVER CUT OUT LIKE THIS 2014!!!!!!
Thats extremely dangerous for the truck to be stalling out while driving especially while towing. Is the dashboard still on when it dies? If it stalls suddenly its likely something electrical. Does it have any codes in any modules? These trucks have major electrical issues, You could have a faulty tipm or ecm overheating and dropping out. I hope you can find someone to diagnose it properly , if its intermittent it will be very difficult to diagnose unfortunately.
@@drewsshoplife Mine is doing the same thing. Can drive for an hour and randomly the truck will die and CEL and WIF light will flash and it will just crank. No start. 07

wish I would've seen this last week. Was getting the o2 codes and changed it now yesterday after about a 1000 miles I'm getting the p2509.
I have the same problem but my truck do not start, when you change the battery it fix the problem?
