Shelly, you have a wonderful coloring space, and if it makes you happy, and apparently it does, you don’t need to worry about what others say. This was very enjoyable. Be blessed.👍😇🙏🏽💞
Shelly, I totally understand your desire for privacy, so I really appreciate your sharing your coloring space with us. It is so nice that you don't want to be separated from your family while enjoying your hobby. You have made a very nice space for yourself while still being with your family. As long as your space makes you happy, that is the main objective! Thank you so very much for sharing with us!
I thought your tour was so sweet and touching. Of course it's well organized. I suspected it would be just from what I've seen in your videos. The fact that it's small and integrated within with the heart of the family, with a view of the garden, along with you keeping the box of your first FC pencils, just touched my heart. Thank you for sharing an intimate look at your coloring space. It's really heartwarming.
Thank you for sharing your space with us, it sounds like it works perfectly for you and your family and that’s what matters! My colouring space is a rolling cart with my supplies and a lap desk I use while I colour on the couch. Love that I can do this with my family around me too. 😊
Thank you for sharing your private coloring place with us. You are well organized. Your tour was very helpful for me to improve the storage of my supplies. I also have no big space for it. I also have no extra place, i color in the living room.
Thank you for this inspiring video. I also have a small desk in my living room, but I didn't really know how to use it for coloring. Thanks to your video, I have now learned that cleaning up after coloring is essential for coloring fun.
Thank you for a peek into your creative space. I have a loft area that looks down into the living room and keeps me close to family. I also have a spare bedroom that I store most of my coloring supplies. I love that you use all the supplies you have before purchasing more. It is easy to get pulled into the latest and greatest supply. I am guilty of that myself. I have a hard time not purchasing coloring books that I see on UA-cam. But they are books that I know I will color in. Looking forward to your next color a long video.
I have that problem sometimes too! I see a coloring book or art supplies on UA-cam and I find myself pausing the video to see if I can find it on Amazon! And I'll immediately put it in my cart but then afterwards when I'm not as excited, sometimes I'm like, do I really need this?! Books are a must have for me, even though I have more than I could color in a lifetime lol! But I have plenty of different kinds of supplies too, so I don't always need it, but I want it 😆
Hi Shelly! I Love Your Coloring Space. I am in the corner of my dining room, next to my huge slider door, like you are, lol! The Natural light is amazing! Thank You so very much for Sharing, It was a great video. Have a Beautiful Weekend My Friend 💜💜 Happy Colouring!😊
Thank you for sharing your coloring corner , it is perfect and the fact that you can still be with your family is just wonderful! Love that you can see out the floor to ceiling door . Loved seeing it 🥰
Don't blame you for.wanting your privacy, I'd be the same way. Love your little coloring corner. I need to condense down my supplies because I always reach for the same pencil brand. I've collected way too much. Thank you for sharing with us, I enjoyed seeing your set up. Simple, organized and perfect! I've got supplies overflowing everywhere and don't know how to get it organized into a small area. You have shown that it can be done without a craft room.
Great space! Congrats on not accumulating too much stuff - very nice control!!!! I really like that the desk is incorporated into the family area - that is really sweet. Nice video, nice setup and .great products! Thank you for the video!
I loved this video so much, as I also don't have a dedicated space but make due with what I have, very often it's at the kitchen counter or dining table to becl close to the family 🤗 thanks for sharing your space 😍❤️🌷✨
Thank you for a glimpse of where you do your coloring creations. My space consists of a card table in my living room/bedroom combo. Colored pencils and miscellaneous supplies are also on a 4 shelf rolling unit. My wheelchair takes up the space under the table so all my coloring books and printouts are in a crate on the other side. Table top holds small containers which hold "bits and bobs" as you call them.♿👵🎨Barb N.
Love your space shelly. My colouring space is also a desk in the front room....I love it. Also have a kallax unit behind the front room door for books and overflow. I find with limited space I'm not so tempted to buy unnecessarily. Xxx
Hi Shelly, Thanks so much for sharing your coloring space. I have a similar happy corner at home, despite having an extra room, and I totally get the “need” to clean up as you go..lol! It’s always fun to see coloring books and products and how others store them, so thanks again❤
Lovely to see your creative space and supplies, honestly I think you'd have a fit at the mess I create when working on something, Im not tidy, ( but wish I could be) Must be lovely next to the garden. thank for showing, it all, x 👍
Thank you for sharing your space, I'm kinda nosy that way and love to see how other people setup their space. Also I used to have this exact same setup (Ikea Micke desk + rolling cart) at our old house, in the guest room actually. I used to work part time at my local library and hubby worked long hours. I colored during the day when he wasn't around so I could spend more time with him when he's back. A separate room worked better for that situation. But in our current house, the living room is big and we both work from home full time. So I like being able to be in the same room as he's watching TV while I color. Because I work and color in the same place, I had to upgrade to a bigger desk. But it worked out anyway since I can keep all my supplies in the drawers and books in a Billy bookcase. I'm also like you, I always clean up as I go. I can't stand having multiple items just laying around my desk. Hubby jokes about it but I always put away my supplies cuz I never know if I can color again or have to start work at the desk. Luckily my desk is right in front of a huge window that looks out into the backyard so I love it even if I'm sitting there for close to 10 hours a day!
I don't use my black widows often, but when I do I am reminded of how many unique colors they have. I don't use them on their own though. Usually over a base of Ohuhu markers or Inktense.
Hello Shel! I have my Polys, and my store didn't have some of the colors I needed in stock. So I bought Albrecht Dürers instead. I have to say, that I actually prefer them to the Polys. I find them a bit more buttery ("softer", if that makes any sense), and they perform much better on very smooth pages, (or in books, where I don't like the Polys). Now they will all be replaced over time. 😀 Thank you. Because I wouldn't have come up with the idea without you. 💕
Hi Melinda! So glad I am not the only one that feels they colour better than Polys. Glad you enjoyed using them. And the fact they work so well dry makes them so versatile!! 🤗💗
I also like the Albrecht Dürers more than the Polys. The Polys are great but only on certain paper. I find that I don't enjoy coloring with them in a lot of coloring books.
@@NCEEE80 Yes 🙂 They were my first and only colored pencils for a long time. I learned a lot with them (sentimental somehow 🙂) Polys will always have a special place in my heart. I still use them in some of my books, because I haven't replaced them all yet. 🙂
@@NCEEE80 Definitely! I have Pablos and my Polys/Dürers, and the Polys are definitely the hardest to use. They need a lot of patience, and still not looking as nice as the others on some paper. I thought about printing out a lot of my pages, but I prefer my books to be honest.🤷
I love how you have everything set up! I've been wanting one of those carts with the shelves and wheels! My birthday is coming up in June so maybe I'll ask for one! Oh and I was going to tell you that I think the skin tone sets for the black widow pencils are colors picked from different sets because I only have the skin tone sets from black widow and I noticed that I have some of the colors that I saw in your pencil case of black widows! But anyway, thank you for sharing your coloring space with us! I got some great ideas from you! 🥰❤️
I also color in the main living room area. I do have a spare bedroom but prefer to be in the main area of the house. I just sit on the couch and I have a lapdesk and a little table to the side with my laptop on it, and my supplies on my cart in the corner. I have had several issues with my Posca paint pens, specifically just the white ones for some reason. I don't know if I am just heavy handed or if it is the pen itself, but they tend to either dry out consistently or they get really watery. I do shake them but they still get runny. And i take the tips out and soak them in warm water. This does help with the drying out or clogging. But after awhile they will go back to clogging again? I can't figure it out.. I thought maybe I am pressing too hard? On the cheaper Amazon paper they tend to do this more often. i have had to replace them so often, it almost feels like a waste of money. If you have any tips or tricks about paint pens I would love to hear about them in a future video if you are so inclined. And please let us know once you try out the Tooli Art pens.
