I think a fun coloring challenge is to take a page that isn't Christmas themed or maybe it isn't even winter themed, and try to color it in a way that makes it look like winter and/or Christmas themed! And since you used the random picker and it chose a lot of books that weren't seasonal or didn't have any seasonal images, maybe this would be a fun challenge for you to try! I've been flipping through my books in search of pages that I could use for this challenge. You can achieve this by the colors you use, adding snow, adding Christmas lights, and things like that. If you choose to do this challenge I would love to see what you come up with! Thanks for sharing this video! Hugs!
Hanna Karlzon's God Jul is my favorite winter coloring book this year. I'm hoping you have time to do a color a long page (or two) in it. The snowman might be a quick page to do. In Fragile World, I hope whatever and whenever you tackle pages in this book, please let it be a color a long. I am currently doing your color a long in Romantic Country 3rd tale, the postbox. You did such a lovely job on that one. I'm hoping I can replicate the way you did the snow on that page. BTW, I find R.J. Hampson's hard back coloring books are of better quality. I no longer purchase the soft back books. Thank you so much for sharing your coloring list. I always look forward to seeing what you love to color.
The page of the monkey’s in the hot spring is something they do in real life to keep warm in the winter. If you have time watch a video about it so cool.
Oh, look! I have some of those books! Looking forward to seeing how you do them and for any coloralongs ❤❤️ I hope that you have a great holiday season, don’t overwork yourself!
I hope you will do a color along of the mythographic books. I like that first polar bear and the penguins with that sorbet or the ice lolly, or that narwhal. I am curious and looking forward to it. 😍
Hello Shelly. Thanks for sharing your favorite winter pages. I bought Fairy Celebrations and Fairy Miracles because of you. I also just bought Orchard Full of Fairies because of you. I love all the pages that you color in those books. You will bring her books to life. That page you colored in Kerby Rosanes is beautiful. And that 2-page spread of that beautiful leopard in the snow would be amazing as a color-along. I love that page you colored in Christmas Charm. I love the red building and how you did the snow. Any winter page that you color in Wildflower Folk would be amazing. Please do a color-along. I have that book. It is absolutely beautiful. I have been afraid of coloring in it. Don't want to mess it up. Xoxo 😘
The arctic bird you keep referring to as a 'Toucan' is called a Puffin. They are a sea bird found most often on the Atlantic coasts of Canada and the arctic. :)
There is also now an English version of the first book of the forest girl but in the English version her artwork is missing. I don't know which one I like better I love to look at her artwork but my skills are not good enough yet to replicate it - so the one without her artwork maybe is more suited for beginners without the comparison.
Roughly how many pages do you usually get done in a month. I know you arent planning on doing all those and its more of a 'one day...' thing, but just curous. I struggle to complete more than one page a month and this month i've not even done that, yet ^^; Maybe I will pick one of the mythographic pages you showed for December. C:
Hi Shel! I just wanted to make sure you knew that if you order RJ Hampson hardback books, the paper is a tiny bit better than Amazon paper, but you also don't get the dark pages with a difference. I prefer having both sets of pages, so I stopped buying the hardback books. Just fyi.
I love going through color books both colored and not colored. Thank you for taking time to do this video!
Thanks for sharing! All lovely pages. R J Hampson‘s books always make me smile.
This was such a cozy video, I enjoyed looking through all the pages with you ☺
