Very nice car. Thank goodness it’s electric rather than a hybrid!!
I struggle with the narrative of how a car looks, or how it corners at 60mph or doesn’t accelerate as quick as a Tesla…
It’s a car, to get you from A-B, it has all the safety features you could ask for…would I buy it…no, but we did pick one up for less than £300/month, 13k miles/annum, £0 deposit, 5 years servicing, warranty and breakdown. Just as a comparison, used to put £58 of Petrol in a week to the previous car, managed over the last week to charge the eNY1 for all necessary journeys for just under £9 on an EOn Next Drive Tariff.
I honestly couldn’t find a deal any better; yes there’s cars out there for greater range at comparable list prices of the vehicle, but certainly couldn’t find any lease options anywhere as cheap.
Volvo EX30 for example was £757/month with no deposit. Tesla model 3 £400 but wanted £11k deposit.
And anything for extended range we will use the ICE car.
First steps into an EV vehicle, see how we get on, technology and battery range will ultimately progress over the next 24/36 months and other options will then be available.
I prefer the prologue coming to the US
£50K !!. Worth £25K in a short time . look at the rest of the EV market 50% depreciation
It's not worth £25k, even wen new.
They were offering these a few weeks ago at £179 with no upfront cost. An absolute bargain!
boringly reliable! that chuckled me.
This is Half baked Potato. I really disappointed with the range and annoying rattling sound. On full charge I have managed 120 miles on city drive. Not worth of 36k
No, you should not buy one IMO.
For everyone, I will spare you 7 minutes : no this car is not a Honda, it's a rebadged Dongfeng e:NS1, a mediocre EV designed and build by Dongfeng in Wuhan China, the only thing Honda did was stick a badge on it and selected some different materials for the interior.
This car is not a Honda and is not worth buying.
Pass... Thanks for the summary!
Wrong. There is no such thing as a Dongfeng Ens1. In Europe it's Eny1 and in the Chinese market it's known as a HONDA Ens1. And it's built as a joint venture with Dongfeng in the same way other brands like BMW, mercedes, VW, etc have joint ventures with Chinese companies
People I don't understand and I cannot get the negative criticism for this car. DO you own one? Do you have issues with the car?
@@damianosdamianou5925 simply, because it is not a Tesla.
In the USA Tesla car owners, accused Tesla for exaggerated EV range, but nobody worried about that, simply because it is a Tesla.
Tesla 3 propulsion has not a “real life” larger range, comparing to the range of the e:Ny1. Tesla 3 propulsion is from 9 to 11k euros more expensive.
But, it is a Tesla …….. so, you have to pay the Tesla price 😁
anyone who would actually consider buying an EV... needs to take a serious look in the mirror im trying to be nice. Its not funny anymore
EV's are not by definition a bad thing to do, but like with any car: you have to do your homework.
