This is the first time I've seen Vincent not acting defensive when surrounded and kibitzed by other family members. This video was a refreshing change and I can see Vincent is really aware and competent to pursue the duties of an overseer of the Ben Mallah Realm. I would like to see more Vincent interactions with his duties. He really does take charge.
I think when ben is around, he doesn't need to take charge so he steps back and takes a more defensive role. I don't blame him, no reason to step all over the man in charge when they're available.
I think alot of the big Ben and Vincent starts out as banter but gets serious lol.

This is really good. In all the other videos you see Vincent acting like a little baby whining and complaining to Big Ben. Maybe it is because the other videos have his father inspecting things and criticizing him. In this video we get to a see a competent Vincent managing the affairs of a project. It appears Vincent does know alot about managing a hotel.
Vincent is the spitting image of his father when he's talking to people about how much something is going to cost.

I stayed at this hotel for almost 3 months as my house was being built. Cheryl the sales manager is a very nice lady. Vince is a cool guy too. Good value for long stays.

Well this was a change of pace and really a good one. It's cool to see all the parts of the Mallah Machine in action. I'm sure it is more than trying at times but really an awesome thing to be able to work with your family. I love nothing more than working with my brothers and father, for many years with my grandfather as well. Keep up the awesome videos guys, looking forward to the next one!
after 30+ years managing hotels and resorts in 12 states, I could only wish my day looked like this one did. Behind the scenes are a great way to provide insight in operating properties. Maybe spend a day day with each department and highlight what they do. SO many moving parts and levels of communication are needed to be successful.
I love the Vincent videos, I hope he continues to make more with Rafal. We need more Ben Jr and Vincent content, they bring a different perspective to the business and it's great to learn from them.

I have been a night auditor at a Best Western for 8 months and i LOVE IT! I truly enjoy giving the guests the experience. I come in and i make sure that everything is completed from the previous shift, the rooms have all been properly charged, i look at messages and guests requests/complaints, i enjoy cleaning the dining area and making sure the tables looks good and the counters are smooth and clean. I LOVE talking to the guests. Being a night auditor i have the guests that come in late at night, they are are tired and they've been traveling. I absolutely enjoy making sure they are comfortable and ready for a good night's rest! So everybody that i work with KNOWS that on my shifts i like everything to be squared away and ready for a calm and relaxing night for the guests. I would love to hear more from anyone that enjoys it like i do and what other opportunities are out there in the hotel biusness. I think i really want to go after this! I love making this experience for people!

I wish more owners were like this when they checked up. I've always had jobs where I'd express things that needed to be fixed to make the employees jobs easier. But it was always ignored, and nothing was done. Ben's son has that personality to get things done and connect with everyone that works at their establishments.
We need more a day in the life of Vincent and Ben Jr.
Vincent, a couple of things, when buying bathroom faucets please do not buy from Amazon (cheapest is not the best choice) unless it is a name brand item sealed in a box! What you should do is make a deal with a large retailer/wholesaler like Ferguson's and buy in large quantities and always get 10% more than you need (for future replacements). You should be buying brand names like Kohler, Moen, Standard for a Sheraton Hotel like yours. If you need a pump ask me, I can find anything related to mechanical, industrial parts, supplies & systems as well as components. Always, have a bypass where you have a backup pump ready to go online when one fails, it can be done with an automatic or mechanical valve setup. Good luck, I have stayed at the hotel many times years ago...

I may be wrong but this could be the hotel where Ben had problems renovating because they couldn’t do what they wanted, they had to renovate it according to the parent company because it was s franchise, it could be another hotel tho i can’t remember which one it was
@@dawicked2k8 when you own a franchise such as this Sheraton Suites, you must go along with the Franchisor's (in this case Marriott) set "blueprints" or guidelines for renovating, etc...I think it was this one or the Four Points they recently sold in Orlando.

Everyone wants to see deals and properties so I would love to see a video going over their current properties. How much they were bought for, how much reno's, how much they get in rent, and what they can sell for. Also would love if they did that with their previous properties. Lastly we need more videos of Vincent's houses.

I would honestly love to have a boss like Vincent, he's a fair and personable sorta guy. But unfortunately some of his workers are obviously trying to take advantage. Be more business-like and sharp with that landscape guy, don't beg. Ask him how many hours to cut the tree not how much. Then tell him you'll be calling around to price check if you think he's lying.
I would probably buy reputable appliances with a warranty, not that made in china amazon garbage. Buy american-made preferably so it's easier to source spare parts.

@@deezelkane Yea and those costs add up over time. As long as the office space is serviceable no point in spending money on upgrades. Profit margin probably gets eaten up quick especially with expensive renovations and labor costs.

I’m getting caught up on all the videos. I was a little late to the party. Vincent is awesome and a great asset. A little more assertiveness and he will be ready to be in charge of the empire. I’m sure that comes off camera though. He’s got the one thing you can’t teach and that’s compassion for your staff. Look how he deals with everyone in this video. When you have a staff that truly smiles when you’re around then they will bend over backwards to do the right thing when you’re not. They will protect you!

Those people in charge of events and meetings are no joke. Having a meeting with 200 guests, breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight room arrangements is a massive endeavor.

When you were talking about the lights in hotels in the UK and Europe when you put the key card against the door to enter, you have to put it into a control panel next to the door to turn on the lights and as soon as you take it out all of the electrics get turned off and the Aircon gets turned downor off
