As a Japanese learner who's lived in Japan almost a year, I can't thank you enough for this! I've not been disciplined enough to sit down and learn grammar because I don't find it so fun. But your videos are helping me a lot and reminding me that grammar can be fun!

Grammar is the most important thing, it’s also really fun in my opinion at least.

The song SOUVENIR by Bump of Chicken has some great lyrics that I was thinking of during this lesson:
    「歩いて歩いて 時々なんか急いで あなたに向かう道を」
    「走って走って いやいややっぱ歩いて あなたに向かう道を」
    歩いて (あるいて)あるく = to walk
    急いで (いそいで)いそぐ = to hurry
走って (はしって) はしる = to run

I've found that a good way to practice this form is by imagining two people interact. For example, like so:

Hi☺️I just saw your comment, and wanted to reply because it made me smile too😌❤️ It’s okay not to be okay and feel bad. Not everyday is perfect, right ? I had bad days a lot last year, too. But I realized that everything comes and goes. It won’t be forever. When you are in a tunnel, you can’t see the light, I understand that feeling. I’ve been there. But you will see the light at the end of it. So even if you feel bad today. It’s okay. It’s a part of life :) It won’t last forever:) I hope you know you are not alone. I don’t look at comments so much, but I saw yours today and I needed to tell you you are not alone:) You are loved. You are worthy of great things:) Have a great day:) Please be kind to yourself just like how kind you are to me:)
