finding Miku's channel was a blessing to me and my japanese learning
it's very good. Have you tried Misa's channel?
Daniele Baldo yes she was the first teacher i discovered before Miku
@@utahimesubs3192 the videos look very similar, anyway that's good, more learning stuff for us!
Yes i also follow Misàs channel, but I find her a bit confused, lake of method, and get tired with her voice after a while . But she teaches a lot of things, quite good also.
Check Sambon Juuku out. No need to thanks me.
My two best Japanese teacher channels! Japanese ammo with Misa and Miku real Japanese! You're both GREAT teachers!
ききKiki i agree! They are my both favorite teacher!
I agree! So good!
Omg me too!!
I agree
Marcel Gomez That doesn’t mean that Misa isn’t a teacher..yes she isn’t qualified but at this point she IS a teacher. I can understand her better than those Japanese teachers out there
I'm embarrassed to say that I've been living in Japan for 18 years and I still couldn't master the passive form but now, I believe I finally get it! Thank you very much!!!
Paddy inJapan me too😹
ja tak polak robak
you will master it. ganbatte
Finally a passive voice tutorial that makes PERFECT sense! I feel like I just climbed this huge mountain of unnatural and now I get it! It makes sense! Like finally!
Congratulations man, stay strong on your journey

I don't know you but i think i love you ❤️😘
I have been studying this for the past three days nonstop with no breakthrough...until I found this video! I am so grateful to you for your help. I am starting to understand now!!
Learning Japanese has forced me to relearn English because I had no idea what “passive” was. And yeah, I definitely don’t speak that way very often. It doesn’t sound natural in English to me.
amen. i've learned more English learning Japanese than anywhere else!
True
I don't understand this passive form ( I'm French ^^). Like an amount of the examples were in the active form if I correctly understood what it is.. ( passive is like : I got my wallet stolen/ active: Someone stole my wallet ( this is the example of the video)).
This
One thing I was like to critique on is to keep your formal/non-formal verb forms consistent as to not add an unnecessary level of difficulty for new learners. For example, you said, "笑います is to laugh, and the passive form is 笑われる" which mixes the formal form of the verb the first time it is mentioned and the casual form for the passive voice. I noticed that this was done multiple times in the video and not just once, so I wanted to bring it up. It's better to keep it consistently in one formality level for explaining verb conjugation, since that makes it easier for new learners to get used to the conjugation rules.

I understand the lesson very well. How about you make your own channel teaching Japanese?
After being stuck on passive form for WEEKS and just not really grasping it from lessons with my teacher and self-study , I searched online for a good explanation. This video was sooooo incredibly helpful and I feel so much more confident in my understanding now! I'm so glad I found this video, and your channel. Thank you so much!
This is an excellent explanation...I'm ashamed to say I've been in Japan many years...first time hearing it explained so well .. Thanks
YOU ARE JUST AMAZING! I finally understood this topic after years of struggle.
yes me too
I really really REALLY love the skits, real life examples and that you speak in Japanese while teaching. It feels like I am learning grammar and vocab. Not only that but also practice listening and speaking ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Totally love it!!!!
このレッソンは教えてくれてありがとう!
このレッソンは教えてくれてありがとう!
XD hahahahahaha
This is so good. Honestly you make learning Japanese so chill and understandable
I would love to watch your teaching method for Causative forms soon.
I was really struggling with my Japanese, so much so that I felt like I reached a plateau of "beginner level" and I was about to give up until I found this channel! You are a real help, Miku-san!
You are a fantastic teacher Miku-san. Concise sentences. Clear explanations. Comfortably paced. I should have discovered your channel earlier. This is great for preparing for my coming spring trip to Japan. Domo arigato Miku sensei : )
Miku sensei is really a good teacher! I love the quality videos! thank you!
This is literally the only video that has made passive form make any kind of sense. Thank you Miku sensei!
Awesome 🥰🥰🥰
If anyone was wondering, to say "Passive Voice" as a grammar point in Japanese is 受動態(じゅどうたい)
jisho.org/word/%E5%8F%97%E5%8B%95%E6%85%8B
You’re such a great Japanese teacher! I hope you’ll also post about causative and causative-passive forms. Thank you! 🙏❤️
You teach beautifully clear and you look beautifully splendid as well!
Thank you, sensei!
So clear due go the using of different colors. Thank you!
This is the best explanation of passive grammar ❤️ it was so easy for me to understand
You are so good at teaching.
Very few explanation on passive form on the net, and it is difficult to understand how to employ it even beyond the simple grammar construction. So, a BIG thank you very much for this one 🙏🙏
You are the best Japanese teacher on UA-cam! Thank you for explaining the passive tense so well. I feel like I understand it so much better. Also, your course is fantastic. I listen in my car and it's helped me progress more than most other learning tools I've tried.
I needed this video at the right time ❤❤❤ ほんとに ありがと !!
These example sentences are the best! Super short and simple. Thanks so much! Also, great format!
I read more than 15 Japanese grammar books but never understood proper use of passive .But this is the video i ‘m searching till now . Yhea I will go through all of your videos .Thank you Miku San
ミク先生に受動態を教えられた。
ミク先生に受動態を教えてくれた!
Thank you for this lesson. For a very long time I thought passive voice was strictly for "victimhood". I have a feeling this is going to dramatically improve my listening comprehension and the naturalness of speech.
This video is really cool! I thought I knew everything about the passive voice because I finished Genki but the third portion explaining the storytelling aspect being separate from the 嫌がる victim usage was new to me! Thanks so much!
ありがとうございます!受け身の説めを教えてくれてありがとうございます.みんなの日本語の本で受け身も習いましたけど、このヴィデオを見たら、もっと分かるようになりました.いつもミクさんは覚えやすいの説めを教えているので、感謝しています.Miku san’s videos always, always support my understanding of new Japanese concepts! I highly recommend this channel!
Love your Sumo teaching style, it throws all others out the ring !
Excellent style of teaching and explanation...! Thank you very much...!
Seriously one of the most comprehensive explanations of the passive I've seen. Thanks!
Really good video. The explanation, skits, graphics, editing. All great!! Thank you! Oh and good cake song too 😂.
I never realized how important this conjugation was in my studies. They never fully expressed why it was and how it's used, they just passed it off as another form to memorize =/
This was very helpful, thank you!
This is such an important point in Japanese, thank you so much for this lesson! You're a great teacher Miku! いつもありがとう!
All of the efforts (i.e. font color) you put in this video are not easy, but you really helped many people learn Japanese fast!! Big thanks from your new subscriber
Could you speak in japanese more, I feel like when the person speak the language Im learning, I pick up more, than one who just speaks the language and goes back to english throughout the video. I feel like your channel and japanese ammo with misa does it well better. So I thank you, because I learn more. Thank you sensei. You earned a new subscriber😊
I think you should watch more japanese channels then, because this channel is more for learning the basics.
But I really share your opinion because its easier to lern if you hear "real japanese"...
If you want listening practice I recommend Sambon Juku, he pretty much talks exclusively in Japanese with both Eng and Jap subs. I think Kemushichan's channel is another good one.
You should check out 日本の森
They teach in Japanese
I am sure she thought about it..... over all it's better this way. I understand better like that too though......... advanced way though.
I also like ammo with misa she explain japanese in a different kind of perspective. Not gramatically but when to use is and the real meaning of the grammar.
Thank you Mikusan❤
Respect for your hard work to edit this video 🫡
did not realize how much I needed this video hahaha. Thank you so much Miku sensei.
先生のビデオはいつも分かりやすい
ありがとうございました
Miku Sensei, thank you so much for your excellent work in explaining real Japanese. Your videos have been very helpful. I love your examples and your sense of humour.
It could not be more logical and clear to explain the topic. Thank you very much.
I'm currently studying abroad in Japan and studying for my N3 exam. The channel really helped me study and also revise old grammar well. I found out that working with my current text book isn't for me, but this channel made it understandable and i learn quicker.
Oh!!! I hope you realized deeply how useful your channel is to many of us in the process of learning your mother tongue! Arigatoo!!
Sensei, you're a gem! Your students are very fortunate to have you as their sensei. Keep up the good work! I've been learning japanese a lot because of this channel. Hugs to you!
Your skits are very funny and also your explanations are very clear and easily understandable. You just got a new subscriber :) Ganbatte kudasai Miku-sensei!
Thank you Miku sensei! This was so usefull (as all of your videos)! When i studyed the passive form on books i just learned the grammar, but not how japanese people actually use it! Thank you again, your channel is a blessing!!
omg thank you so much ive been learning japanese on wanikani and the passive form verbs they teach always confused me but now i finally understand it😭😭
thank you so much! I've been struggling with this grammar for the past three weeks, but I think this has helped me enourmously because I got all the answers in the last section of the video. THANK YOU
動画をしてくれてありがとう!
みく先生、you really help us to make a mind switch to understand the way Japanese people think, grammatically talking. You are really helping me to understand what I learned 12 years ago 🥲 いつもありがとう❤
What sucks is that the passive form of す-verbs can be confused with the causative-passive form of する (される) & the passive form of る-verbs can be confused with いる・える verbs if you're not careful.
Your skits are very entertaining. Sometimes the accent sounds like Osaka. I thought your big sister said: え?あ、食べちょっと。(笑)I really enjoy it, thank you.
"Someone bit my butt じゃない!" ミク先生は本当にかわいくて、面白いえすね。
Ngl Miku you're the best sensei I have come across! thanks so much!!
Thank you Sensei. Your videos are very helpful. In this video I am particularly grateful for the Japanese subtitles rather than English subtitles.
AAAAH your sister is watching Hwayugi!!! I’m still not over that show! Excellent taste as well as a great lesson, thank you :P
nice teaching method
i totally understand
thank god i found this video
This video is extremely helpful! Thanks.
Actually, I may have found my easy to understand Japanese lessons from this Sensei. Sensei, please accept my sincere thanks. Domo arigatou gozaimasu
I am a beginner and I can say that I really learned a lot from you. You are an inspiring teacher, hopefully I can speak Japanese language someday though it is not easy. Thank you so much sensei.
Excellent content. Happy to be a patron! Great work!
先生、本当に役に立ったビデオでありごうございます。先生のチャンネルは最高です!!
ミク先生、i swear you’re a blessing ! Thank you so much for your videos ❤️❤️❤️
真にありがとうございます
この授業は本当に役に立ちますよ!!ありがとうございます!!
Miku is the best Japanese instructor on UA-cam. I use her to supplement my lessons in class all the time.
このビデオは私にとても有用でした。長い時間から受身系がわかりませんでしたが、このビデオのおかげでついにわかります。みか先生のチャネルを登録するよ!
This is a really good explanation of passive voice.
Thank you Miku sensei. I've been struggling in understanding Japanese passive sentence for a while. Your video helps me a lot!!
Saw サマーウォーズ in the movies yesterday and decided to look up passive voice in Japanese when I came across a specific quote from one of the characters. Came across this video 👍
Kenji tells all of the avatars この人は僕の偽者(偽物?)です。アカウントを奪われたんです。
So glad to had found this video! Also, in your video, you said that 'to steal' is '盗む'. Howcome it's not 奪う? Or does 盗む mean to physically steal something and 奪う mean to steal/hack?
Edit: Also, it's 'proposed TO me'. You add the 'to'.
Awesome video. Thanks!
Love your effort and the way of teaching. Thank you very much. ❤️❤️
Your teaching is very effective and high enegetic
So much work go into these lessons it's crazy... Thanks a lot.
Question regarding the telling a story part: If you talk about someone doing something for/to you but they also did something else before would you still use passive form? Like "He went and bought some flowers for me and then came by and asked me out"
教えてくれてありがとうございます。😊
I really like the way you teach. Not only explain clearly but also have
Test IT section which make me able to practice sentences.🙏🏻🦖🥺🌞❤️
We are blessed to find such a committed nihongo no sensei..keep doing this work..
Your lessons are gold! Very well explained and with real life examples. Thank you! ありがとうございます。このビデオは本当に便利だった!
A wonderful and entertaining lesson. Thanks from Spain.
Just found your channel and I really grateful :) hope to attend your online class 😁
ミク先生、貴重なレッスンを教えてくれてありがとうございます。Keep up the excellent work!!
this was so helpful! thank you always!
It helps me a lot to refresh my mind about the use of passive form
Miku先生のご説明が分かりやすい。The explanation is very clear and easy to understand.
Now i know when will I use passive voice! Haha! ありがとう!!
May I request you to make a video regarding these words? はずだ、べきだ and わけだ。🙂
Just type in japanese ammo with misa はず、べき and わけだ
I’m loving this level of insight into the Japanese mindset
Aaah, thank you for this video ! It's so well explained ! In class, we didn't learn about the other ways to use passive form ; now I understand and I feel I could use it more often !
みく先生のチャネルを見つけてくれた! I'm so grateful that I found Miku sensei's channel ! (I hope I'm right lol...)
Thank you! I love your content so much I came back and I’m understanding it really well. Keep up the great work
Thank you.. more helpful than any other apps or channel ..ありがとうございます
Maybe this adds a little bit of nuance. Hope I didn't make any mistakes here:
1.ケーキをたべられた… (I had my cake eaten)
ありがとうございます!! This was so helpful!
Hello. I'm new to your channel and I am learning a lot already. Thanks for making these kind of videos. More power, Miku sensei.
I hardly subscribe to channel, this is the first time i see yours and i subscribed because you're not begging money like Yuta does :O
You teach and probably for deeper learning people might need to pay something, i appreciate the fact that you teach this way.
I learned this grammar pattern in my first few months of study but couldn't use it confidently. This slowed down my progress for years. Word of advice to beginners, get this pattern mastered ASAP!
このレッスンは本当にすごいです!⤴️⤴️ どうもありがとうございます❗
今日はいい説明してくれた。ありがとうございました❕
