I’d like to see a video of your plans to make the boating life safe for little Lenny, when he starts to crawl then walk. Because I’ve raised three kids and it’s challenging on land. You take your eyes off them for a second and they’re into something. I couldn’t imagine trying to raise a child on a boat. Love you guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Indeed!!! Just thinking about a scenario of "Lenny in the water" is horrifying. Watching Riley and Elayna carrying Lenny while the boat is moving makes me cringe a bit. Baby proofing to eliminate the possibility of baby over board is the main order of the day I would think.
Lenny should have the best flotation device made for infants and wear it when outside the cabin. He is too precious to you and your readers! I love you guys, all three of you. I feel strongly enough about protecting Lenny that I am writing my first comment to a video.
When Lenny is older, a harness attached to the safety line.
One of my friends is a twin. Her Mom had 4 kids, three years apart. Melissa's Dad would race his sail boat from Seattle to Victoria, and her Mom would sail single handed with 4 toddlers to join. She swore by the harness and safety line.
You guys need to get Lenny a "Baby Vest" so while on deck you are hands free and he is strapped securely to his Mom or Dad. I love to see Lenny laugh, he is such a good son, It is hard to tell at this young age however I think he favors his fathers looks😎

Riley, just get a couple fibreglass rods or bamboo stalks and lash them to the Underside of the bimini or whatever, to hold the canvas up, like the bows on a Covered Wagon-top. That will stop your Pooling problem. Lenny's Thinking' Yeah, Pop, More Wind would be good. Yer Vegemite Breath is KILLIN' me!' LOL!

IDEA for your bimini Riley - get some BATTENS (flexible fiberglass) to the right width to push that up a bit - then take them down when not needed. You should be able to jam them into each end to make them stay... maybe. Also the BEAN BAG is brilliant! for babies and drunks and high seas. Our babies slept like rocks when at sea in bean bags. and that Lenny has a great smile! :)

When I daughter was this age and sailing with us, we bolted her car seat into the cockpit. That way we were both free to help with maneuvers and she was happy to watch us and then fall asleep

Consider a couple pockets stitched into the edges of the sagging cover for a small batten to keep it arched upward.

A couple of hoops made from 25mm black poly pipe stuck up under that cover when it rains will stop the water sitting. Lenny looks like he has taken to cruising like a duck to water. Cheers mate 🍻

“ spring “ ( bow up ) a simple 20mm dia PVC frame on the underside so that the water runs off immediately. Warmest regards, Roger
I agree with Roger, make it like the steel bow on a torneau cover of a ute Riley, except UV stable conduit few holes in either end and shape either end to the contours of the rail that it will sit on and zip tie it to the rail. Good luck
