Hey Riley and Elayna! This is a bit of a more serious comment for such a happy channel. I've been suffering from depression for a long time and I often feel hopeless and numb throughout my days - with today being a bad day for me. Each video you put out is a bit of an escape and it helps so so much and I'm sure it helps others out there too. Please keep putting out the great content, positivity and inspiration!

I still can’t believe all these places in the Bahamas that I’ve crossed to and have been able to enjoy the beauty of and do things such as spearfish, fish, and explore are now in complete distress. A place near and dear to my heart which I consider my second home is green turtle and it’s crazy to think just a couple of months ago we crossed over and stayed in a house that is now gone along with all the amazing places in New Plymouth. I don’t believe any of the islands effected will be fully restored even within the next ten years but were definitely going to be making crossings carrying supplies in the next month.
I was 10 when we lived aboard on our Rival 41 as a family. Long island Bahamas was the place we stayed the longest during the whole trip. Yep, topping lift. Riley, consider adding running backstays? That would help stiffen the rig, and give you more mast rake control, hence sail shape. Not that you’ve had any trouble keeping speed up.
So glad you are all safe. I have worried about you for days now. Thanks for letting us know how to help and doing the research for someone reliable and trustworthy.
Riley, I think that moment you had with Kenny on the trampoline is what the Swedes call "hygge". One of those perfect moment in life, I think your fortunate enough to have many hygge moments. Glad to hear you escaped hurricane Irma.
When the wind is cooking from behind, you can stow the main and use the main halyard as a second running backstay. Just clip it on a padeye aft and tighten.

Hi guys. Yep it's a topping lift. Most monohulls have a back stay that is tensionable as well as a topping lift for the same reason. The wire back stay goes from top of mast to transom and has a set of pulleys that can be tensionable. Don't know about cats tbh.

Praying for you three and your boat and hoping you are all safe from Dorian! Please let us know you are safe!!!
I discovered this series a few weeks ago and I am hooked! This has become my favorite UA-cam series. I wonder if you understand how much your subscribers benefit from your postings. While I do not have the travel urges that I had as a young man (I am in year 70!), watching your videos make me feel as though I was still in my 30s again and still serving as a Special Forces officer. Wishing you three all the very best in your travels.
May I make a suggestion? Open a college account for Lenny and let all of us know about it. I would be delighted to make the first donation!
You guys are awesome! It’s just soo relaxing to watch all you’re videos! I love it❤️
Love your guys channel its so nice to travel like that
12:08 Elevator going down! Nice landing. Sending prayers for your safety with this storm.
Hugs to Lenny, teething is a rotten time for all. Love his new toothy smile though and if you're still nursing beware, they bite. lol
My first thought was of y'all! I am happy to hear you are safe, blessings to all.
So glad you guys are safe! Have spent some time wondering how you fared through what must have been a terrible time in the Abacos!
Just saw on your IG that you guys sailed north far out of the way of Hurricane Dorian. so thankful for that. I know you're worried about all the people left behind, tho.
sailing north doesn't sound like a good plan. That's moving in the direction that Hurricane Dorian is going to travel. Tucking anywhere in along the coast may be a bad idea.
Lenny reminds me of Jack Jack from the incredibles 😂
Hi, I love you guys, and you contributed at 50% to make me buy my first sailboat ever!! A 1982 janneau fantasia , in august!
You said couscous for that meal on your video, it's called taboulé, couscous is a warm arabic meal with meat 😀,
Have fun!!👍
you guys should have seen the caves !!!! they are actually so beautiful
Hahahahaha that zoom in shot of the snot!
Haha, no hat no play!.. classic Aussie school rules. Slip slop slap Lenny. When we're out our little girl sings 'stop look and listen before you cross the road'.. and we live in Germany now!
Hope you guys are safe and out of the way of the hurricane! You should have come to Peru and visit.....
No kid can be loved anymore than Lenny.....you guys are blessed. Cheers !
I’m in Florida waiting on the hurricane to move north. Pray you are safe and doing well!

I live in Brevard County FL. A couple of hours south from Jax. We might far ok from this storm. But the Bahamas are getting a beating.
