That’s one kayak that’s on my radar to buy next….still leaning towards Vibes Shearwater.
i have both, both are great, for closed hatch and storage the feelfree, less storage but glides through water faster the shearwater
Love my 13.5 but definitely want a motor cause it paddled like a barge. Just got it this year my buddies each got one as well sweet kayak for the money. Tons of storage too.
Any kayak over 13 ft has to be registered in Iowa also if out past dark I believe you need green and red marker lights thank goodness for rechargeable Guardian Elite lights. I love my Lure 13.5 V2 not gonna waste the moneybon the overdrive though I'll do a rear mounted trolling motor with the Feelfree foot steering to have hands free fishing while on the move.
But no spot lock right? Description says deep cycle battery. Is it lithium friendly also? Maybe this will wake up Old town to build a combo unit?

Its called an anchor light for a reason. Other boats will be able to tell what direction you are moving in with the anchor light on and the bow lights on. If they see a white light and a green light or red. If a boat is staionary or anchored only the white light is required to be on. The lights have nothing to do with boat length.
so when moving, both green and red are needed, if anchored only anchored light is needed?

Do the pedals turn when you are running on the motor? When pedaling does the motor disconnect from the pedals so that you don't have to overcome the motor resistance?

"When pedaling does the motor disconnect from the pedals so that you don't have to overcome the motor resistance?" - You just pull the motor out slightly from the latched position (disengaging it) when not using it. There's no "motor resistance".
