I WAS about to purchase something else (Pelican) but this video has COMPLETELY changed my mind. I trust your opinion, and everything you’ve told me about Feelfree Kayaks has showed me that they’re the company to go with. The reason I trust YOU over other people is because unlike some people that brag about kayaks they use, you actually FISH out of yours WEEKLY and have been doing so for YEARS. Great review.
Thank you for stopping and watching Bryan. You won’t be disappointed with FeelFree their kayaks are great as well as their customer service department. Appreciate ya!🤘🏼
@The Outdoor Conquest that's awesome. Keep us updated! I've decided I'm buying either way, but it would be sweet to get you some sales credit... Especially since you're on their team.
Great review. In my opinion this is the finest fishing kayak on the market. The seat is super comfortable and V2 has the high back. I am almost 70 and in a couple of years I will buy the motor so I don't worry about getting back to the dock after a day of fishing. The motor is expensive but doesn't take up any space on the boat like an add on motor. To switch to motor you push it in a couple of inches and the pedals disengage, hold the buttons and pop it back 2 inches to pedal. After doing months of research, last year I bought two of these used in great condition because the couple I got them from were switching to Hobie. You need to grease the overdrive unit after a few trips and it takes lots more grease than you would think. There is a video for greasing it on youtube. The flat circles on the front are for mounting a stand up bar that FeelFree sells. Other kayaks don't have flat spots so you have to use shims. I am going to make my own based on several designs on youtube because I want the exact fit for me. The wheel is great on a boat ramp, but I ended up buying a cart for longer bank launches. When I broke the 8 ball unloading the first time FeeFree was very responsive and the part was inexpensive.
Thanks a lot for stopping watching and leaving an awesome comment! It’s comments like these that keep me in the content creation game. I also still really enjoy my Lure 11.5 V2 and also the Dorado V2. Both phenomenal kayaks by FeelFree. Thanks again!
Great walkthrough brother. Very detailed. At first I wasn’t sure about those flush areas near the bow but I can see the possibilities are endless there. And that gravity seat looks 🔥🔥🔥 Great job my guy.
😂😂 I’ve been holding onto this one for a couple months…kind of long winded but I had to get rid of it because they’re will be another kayak review coming up *HINT HINT*
Great review man I really appreciate it. I just purchased me the exact same one in desert camo. I haven’t got in the water yet. Can’t wait to catch some fish on it. Thanks a lot for the review.
The only thing I didn’t like about the Big Fish was lack of storage space. Honestly it’s still one of my favorite kayaks I’ve ever fished from and would buy another.
So question. Now that you have used this kayak how stable is it. i got out of kayak fishing for a bit but ready to jump back in. and i can buy this one just wanna know if its stable. ive had lots of kayaks. just wanna hear iyo
To be honest it’s a great stable kayak for smaller people or kids. I can stand and fish in it but it also is very tipsy. It’s the only kayak I fully flipped over and out of while fishing
I have a little question for you, do you think the front hatch could fit a rid inside of it, I am really torn apart between this one, the OT sportsman and the bonafide ss107. Thank you
I wish the Feel Free Moken 10 PDL had the option of putting your paddle on either side of the kayak. Sucks because you can only place your paddle on the right side for the Moken 10. Nice review though.

Hold that thought. This boat was the one I was in at the beginning of the year. I’ve been fishing from a new one the last 2 months and if I know you you’re going to like what the Dorado 125 V2 has to offer…..but I do miss my big fish 108 also honestly
@@TheOutdoorConquest oh Lord. I'll be calling you for a consultation. The Dorado V2 looked AWESOME on the website... But it's really hard to pin down the pros and cons of each when there is no one locally who sells them. Internet shopping is dangerous 🤣
@@TheOutdoorConquest also... I'm coming north with t-shirts and my boat. We gotta make it happen. I promised your brother he could watch me do eight-balls from the top of my peddle drive while fishing and talking bad about people on video 🤣 #Doitfortheviews
@@RealDirectorofAwesome the Dorado 125V2 is my favorite out of all the boats I’ve been in. Pedal drive is like a caddy that also has an option to drop a motor into (which o also have) it’s pre wired for the motor and fish finder. Has an awesome battery box that’s removable AND very sweet interior blue lighting
Had my V2 Lure for about a year now.. there are several frustrating things about it, and if I had waited 6 to 9 months to buy it, could have saved like $300 cuz they dropped the price significantly in 2023. As of today, there are better and more affordable options out there. Buyer beware, they have great marketing and customer service but the kayaks are substandard. 1. Pedal drive is inefficient and difficult to deploy. It also takes up alot of room on the deck and is rather noisy. Outdated tech in my opinion compared to what's out there now. 2. The wheel in the keel is useless when you have the beaver tail rudder installed as the base of the rudder drags on the ground when you lift up the front of the kayak. 3. Very heavy and difficult to manage the kayak for one person. And is ackward without a kayak cart. 4. Unitrack requires adapters for all yakattack accessories. Also needs more built in tracks for riggability throughout. 5. You have to install practically everything yourself when it's shipped, unless you have a dealer nearby.. which I did not. 6. The gravity seat slips and has dropped me to the floor and scraped my heels a couple times, seems like it's finnicky and requires constant adjustment on the springs and tensioners. 7. The hull leaks a little but, probably at the fastener/strap points throughout the boat, so you always end up with a little bit of lake water in the advertised dry hatch. 8. Back end of the boat sits very low in the water when you're loaded with gear, I think they built the design with not enough buoyancy in the rear of the hull.
The back end of the kayak sitting low is the most frustrating thing for me. You can't put more than 50lbs in the back of the kayak without it sitting low enough for water to leak in through the drain plug. Really annoying. I have a 30lb 100ah lithium battery in a battery box that sits in their along with my milk crate and rods/ rod holder.

Why did you stop fish with the big fish 108 ?
The only thing I didn’t like about the Big Fish was lack of storage space. Honestly it’s still one of my favorite kayaks I’ve ever fished from and would buy another.
I have the slightly larger model and my dry well lid catches on the pedal drive. I cant digure out where jt isnt sitting flush to avoid the lid hangup
I made some adjustments to the pedal drive and am good to go now. Maybe a few tweaks is all you need to help it adjust some.

You dont want to put lock tight on peddles if you plan on using the hardcase.
That makes for a good point. Although I don’t think I personally would ever use the case but for anyone that would that’s a good idea.
