Now, with our Rome in one day trip itinerary You won’t have much time to spend on each attraction, but at least you will be able to take a look and snap that photo for Instagram! Also in order to be able to see all the 10 spots in our Rome in one day trip itinerary, you will have to start your day bright and early. The itinerary will be mostly walking and a couple of subway rides, but mostly walking.

About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists - but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew - and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.
i love the use of map to show how you traveled between sites. One of the best travel videos that share unique and practical tips. Keep up the good work!

Thank you 🙏🏻 let us know how you like ROME
Thank you for this video. It’s a great video that reminds me of my trip to Rome last week! I thought my friend and I went to the colosseum but it was teatro marcello 😂 so funny! But oh well, we can always go back to the eternal city. ❤️
Thank you so much! Many people actually make the same mistake 🤣🤣
Im tired just listening! Thanks for all your tips!
You are very welcome 🙏
Thank you for the video.
Would you recommend doing the hop on hop off bus?
🙏🏻 thank you. In Rome we do not recommend it because most of the landmarks are in pedestrian only areas or in very narrow street and the bus can not go there.
bravo
Thank you 🙏🏻
I am going there next week. Thanks for this. I appreciate it. Just worried about pickpockets
Thank you Elvie 👍🏻we are sure you’ll love it. Don’t worry about pickpockets too much just use some common sense and you’ll be fine
we would love to go and explore
Let us know how you like it 😃
Great videos about Rome. I like this video because I am planning a 1 day trip to Rome coming off a cruise ship. I might modify it a little so we are not exhausted. LOL. I am wondering what train station to get off of when coming from Civitavecchia train station (port) at the first stop, Piazza Novana. Many thanks.
Termini Station than take a taxi to Piazza Navona or walk about 20 minutes
Will you guys be making a video about the new relaxed travel restrictions happing March 1st for Italy?
We will do it as soon as the government will release the new rules
Thank you so much for the lovely details.
Please advise since we are 5 adults, want to see important places in 1 day as we are 60 plus seniors
Thank you 🙏 it is possible to do it a day, you can catch taxis in between attractions if you get tired. Taxis are relatively cheap in Rome
the matching sweaters!
Thank you Lauren 🙏
If you made a video, please share the link. But do you get paid while traveling? My wife and I have become addicted to it, but can't travel as much as we want. Rome was the biggest eye opener I've experienced and made me fall in love with exploring
Hello Ryan, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately we do not get payed to travel we would love to travel more as well if we could.

What’s a good restaurant recommendation for a solo dinner doing 1 day in Rome
Our favorite is in Trastevere and it is called Zi Umberto 👍🏻
Hello! I'm taking my family nombre a mediterranean cruise a gift for my oldest sons high graduation gift. I really appreciate the detailed videos you provide. I wanted to ask, our ship (Norwegian Cruise) arrives to Civitavecchia 6am June 26th, I know it's a busy time of the year. What can we realistically visit in one day if our ship leaves at 7pm? My kids and I want to see the colloseum, but my wife wants to see the fountain and Vatican. Help! Thank you!
Hello there, thank you for your comment. You'll have enough time to see quite a bit Rome but here are a few tings to consider. Regarding the Vatican the lines to get into the Basilica (due to the security checks) are really really long so we think that you won't have time to go inside unless you buy the guided tour of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's basilica but that tour is a 3 hours tour (here is the link: readysetitaly.com/vatican-museums). If you save the Vatican for another visit you will have enough time to see the colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and to walk around the city center. Remember if you want to go inside the Colosseum you should buy your skip the line tickets in advance because the line to get in are pretty long (readysetitaly.com/colosseum). Also keep in mind that from Civitavecchia Port to the city center will take you one and half hour, so factor this in when you plan your visit. Are you planning on taking the cruise transfer to the city or doing it on your own?
@@TravelAddictsLife we're planning on doing it on our own. Your guidance on how to do so was very helpful, I just wasn't sure how to time it precisely from the locations without missing our cruise return time. So maybe we should only plan to do the colosseum and fountains for this trip (like you said) and we'll the leave the Vatican for another day. Thank you so much for the prompt response and helpful links. We'll definitely be reviewing your videos (daily) and taking notes for the next couple of months. I'll keep you posted on how things went. Thanks again!
@ximbalba thank you we look forward to hear all about your trip 😃
The only time I was able to go to Rome there was a big strike in the city so couldn't really visit the city, ugh.
So sorry to hear
Hi gentlemen, I have been watching all of your videos about Italy. I am going with my family this coming November. Would we still need to buy all the attraction tickets in advance, or is your emphasis on purchasing tickets in advance only applicable for the summer season? If you see this msg and could reply, we would be so very grateful. Thank you very much for the informative videos.
Thank you so much for your comment! It would be advisable to buy tickets in advance especially for weekends and for the most popular attractions such as the Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum. Rome is still incredibly busy with tourists, mostly because the weather is still really nice.
@@TravelAddictsLife Should we buy Italy inter city tickets in advance online or buy on spot like Rome to Milan etc
What is the best option/company to purchase ‘skip the line’ entry tickets to the Vatican and Colosseum?
Hello Carolyn the one we use is this: www.coopculture.it/it/
We have a 12 hour layover in Rome starting at 1 am. Can we start as early as 5 am and cover everything by 11?
Most places are closed at 5am but you will be able to see the outside with very few people around 👍🏻
Great videos but the travel download page did not work for me. It keeps on asking me for name and email address....
Hello Patrick thank you for your comment. When you enter your email you will receive the map by email
How do you get to the Colosseum on the subway?
You can go from Termini Station and get off at Colosseo stop
Will this plan work if you are coning from the port on a cruise?
It will be a bit tight because it takes more then one hour from the port to the city center
Thanks guys I love your videos
I am not getting the map registration failed
Unfortunately we are experiencing some problems with the download. If you email us we will send it to you. Sorry about that
Hello. I would like to visit the Vatican on Sunday and go to the mass that the Pope addresses. What do I need to do that? Do I need a reservation?
We are not sure how to do that. If you want to go to the papal blessing is at noon on Sundays in Piazza San Pietro
@@TravelAddictsLife ok thank you is plaza san pietro in st peters basilica
@Richardpasquinucci it is just outside of the basilica. The pope will perform the blessing from the window of the papal palace. If you watch our video about free things to do in Rome you’ll see exactly where he will be
@@TravelAddictsLife do you know what time the mass is
@Richardpasquinucci the blessing is at noon
where is the map?
There is a link in the description for the download
Rome in one day? What a terrible choice. Never do this.
Unfortunately some people have no other option
Thanks guys! I Will be using your guide for My visit un July
Thank you 🙏
