I’m a jets fan that went to this game and honestly I was jealous Af never ever experienced anything like this at a football game. Even rooting for the other team I was like this is so fucking dope
Yeah it's a dope stadium and a great city to visit.. most people think Pittsburgh is just an industry city with a high murder rate but it's a great place to visit.. the skyline is cool and the night games are straight fire! PNC Park is a cool stadium too..
It gives me goosebumps every time I watch a Renegade video. I can feel the electricity from the crowd through the screen. It’s more intense when you’re at the game. Make it a night game and WOW!
Realist sh*t ever said but I was born into this lifestyle and I'm not even from Pittsburgh. I'm always in Pittsburgh, my home away from home. I haven't had a bad time in Pittsburgh for over 40 years and people are still friendly.
What exactly is the experience? A bunch of alcoholic yinzers standing up yelling “ahhggghh” while waving a dish rag to a song absolutely nobody in the crowd sings along to?
AFC Championship game row 2 . 50 yard line against the Ravens. Behind the Steelers bench with my youngest brother. Great Fkng time. We got that Super Bowl that year.
I will be in Pittsburgh for my very Steelers home game on mind night I cannot wait for this moment. Been trying to get there for years and I finally made it happen for my birthday. See you soon SteelCity💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Dope city! The skyline is the greatest in the world! You'll see when you get there.. some of the North side neighborhoods away from the stadium are bad but if you are on the north shore and downtown you'll have a great experience! It's dope!
This is random, but if you have time, try the pierogi pizza from Church Brew Works. It's in the Lawrenceville/Bloomfield area fairly close to downtown.
Get there early, so much to see in the stadium. Don’t miss the terrible towel wall, many framed versions of the towel and a history of it. If you can, park on the west side of the river, by station square. You can ride over to the stadium by boat! It is SO cool! Your son will love it. Takes awhile to get back after the game, but I think worth it. Have a great time and bring home a win!!🖤💛
You’re gonna have such a blast. Me and my Dad went for the first time to this game in the video, and needless to say I don’t think I’ve done a better trip. Been a diehard fan for 20 years and this was the best first game I could experience. You have got to go up the incline railway to see the city ( go at night, trust me ) and you should definitely take the ferry boat to the stadium, it is so cool. Overall, I’m a bigger fan now and I didn’t even think I could be because I was already such a diehard! Trust me the yinzer mafia does not disappoint. Truly makes me want to get a condo there for games.
Makes me cry, every time!! Come on, Steelers - give every fan a terrible towel at the entrance. Fill this place with even more towels. Even if it's just a damn gold towel with nothing else on it.
I’ve seen the Steelers play at many stadiums around the country. Invariably, those locations hand out their cheap imitation rags for the fans to waive, and mainly dispose of thereafter. Not in Pittsburgh. I guarantee you 99.998% of the fans shown in this (or any Renegade) video brought their Terrible Towel from home, where it is reverently cared for year after year after year (I STILL have my first; an original, first edition) that has gone with me around the country, and around the world. Thanks for the video! You could tell when the National broadcast came back from commercial as Renegade was ending that the atmosphere was electric!
The 1st defensive play after that was Beanie Bishop with the INT!!! Man when Renegade starts that place goes nuts! 🥜 Ain’t no experience like it and the Steelers players totally feed off of it.
That's not true bro. Beanie int was 7 min in the 3rd qtr. Renegade is always played at 12 min in the 4th qtr. The 1st play after was a kickoff 1st play from scrimmage JPJ tfl on #20. Always a big play after renegade. Typical steeler fan stuff tho....just say anything and swear to it😂😂
Renegade is like the Cubs 7th inning stretch either take me out 2 the ball game. I am not sure how or why it became a must 4 Steelers in the 4th Qtr but it is good.
They play it by ear. Usually it's brought out end of the third quarter early. Fourth quarter when the defense needs a pivotal stop. The crowd knows this is when they can influence the game more than any other time and the players absolutely feed off of it. It's a glorious sight to behold LOL
He wanted everyone to think the Steelers fans were waving at him! No bullshit, that's what he does, takes credit when good things are happening. Think about it, The biggest stage with the most people, on a Sunday night!
Wish they’d save renegade for meaningful games, I get fans want to experience it. The players themselves have said it loses its value when used weekly. Great video though and what a WIN!!!
??? The giants season is most likely over, they need to lose to get better draft picks so they probably don’t care about winning anymore, they wanna draft a great franchise qb. No disrespect to the gmen I like them but cmon Steelers are on fire rn, Giants aren’t.
@@The_Bad_Guy. of course it is a joke……I have given up on this team, I will always root for the good guy RUSSELL……I WISH HE WAS A GIANT.. at least we have a chance at being competitive……

For a Steelers fan for 52 years it brings tears to my eyes every time I experience it especially when I am at the stadium which for me isn't often however I have definitely witnessed this in person. The last time was a game against the Ravens and it was a cold day at Heinz Field.

ABSOLUTELY
Renegade is one of those things that ever sports fan needs to experience once
I have experienced it multiple times it’s a great experience

I did, drove 7 hours from VA to Pittsburgh, and we were behind, played renegade and still lost. The energy was not there at all 😞
I have! Pittsburgh and Chicago MNF 2021

First Steelers game incoming 11-17 against Ravens! This is mine and my son’s journey to Mecca. Been waiting a lifetime for this!

Can’t describe it unless you experience. Pretty f em awesome. Last nights was crazy
Came up from Orlando to see this game and was not disappointed!! This song got the stadium rocking, as usual.
Just dropped down to my knees in Dollar General ❤😭😭
I feel this comment brother, and you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Renegade is like the Cubs 7th inning stretch either take me out 2 the ball game. I am not sure how or why it became a must 4 Steelers in the 4th Qtr but it is good.
Do they play at a certain time in the game or when they need an offensive or defensive play?
Usually after the first or second drive in the 4th quarter if the game is close, always before the Steelers go on Defense
They play it by ear. Usually it's brought out end of the third quarter early. Fourth quarter when the defense needs a pivotal stop. The crowd knows this is when they can influence the game more than any other time and the players absolutely feed off of it. It's a glorious sight to behold LOL
The Jets did well to not throw an interception or fumble right afterward, although they did turn it over on downs.
