Was the cheap tent really a humidity problem? Couldn't you add a controlled amount of airflow or something to just decrease the humidity?
I ask cause i am thinking about getting a small grow tent just like that, small and short.

So what’s your overall view on growing under LED lights now? I know the suns better but would you still grow nice cactus with lights?
Growing under led's/energy saving bulbs is good for seedlings and to extend they growing season for them during the slow colder months. Once put in the sun/shade the plants show you that nothing can beat the sun when it comes to lighting.
My overall view is that LED lights work fine for older plants (1 year old +) and with a low running cost... but for seedlings I prefer a fluorescent T5.
I’ve been following your small container grow instructions with T5 fluro 14hrs a day and had my highest germination rates but yours at the same age are double the size of mine..
Any ideas what to change?
Lights on for longer? Double fluro? And ambient light too?

Hey i’m a new viewer and i have a question: is it okay to remove the thornes of the cacti so i won’t pinch me all the time i handle it?
I'm no expert but I'd have thought you would not damage the plant by trimming them, not sure about any other removal method. If you decide to experiment and compare with or without thorns, please post your results.
I related to the part where you got the free closet rack because I use one as an lamp support as well..It was left when I moved in to where I am now.
