What we saw was all the denial and insecurity she had held in, the longing and finally the elation to know that this is what he wanted when she first kissed him...also his longing, then to more kissing and talking with abandonment and both of their hormones were kicking in, but her emotional turmoil made her vulnerable as she looked to him for comfort and solace. Human stuff. No shame. No blame. I just knew he would put the brakes on. Great also that they sat and communicated the why of how they both felt. Niceness!! Really, really enjoyed them today! Go Sprina .. let's keep this couple moving forward. This is GH's gold. Kudos to whomever wrote the dialogue and directed the scenes. The integrity of Spencer is blowing my mind. Here Trina is about to give him her flower.... but he took a moment to read the room and knew due to her vulnerable state of mind that it would be taking advantage of her and not allowing her to process everything. Of course he's wanted her for forever and loves her too much and respects her too much to have them give in.... EVEN THOUGH she said she wanted to. He had her very best interests in mind and in the forefront. That, to me, is the character of a MAN. A mature man truly caring about his woman.

I'm a lover of small details and I love the fact that GH incorporated Tabyana and NACs height difference into Trina making the first move to kiss Spencer. It was a subtle yet powerful detail showing Trina was the initiator of the kiss. She gave Spencer the green light not once but TWICE and once he got the message he deepened the kiss. Ugh such a beautiful romantic moment for Sprina and fans everywhere ❤ can't wait to see the next chapter in their love story!
I love that they highlighted the height difference with that shot of her going on her tippy toes to kiss him. I don’t normally take note of those things, but he’s over a foot taller and I’ve wondered how they’d make the romantic stuff look screen. Thankfully Tabyana and NAC didn’t seem to need any notes, they play off each so well emotionally and physically.
I’m 4’10” barley and my husband is 5’10” that’s a big difference. We started dating in 9th grade so when we met I was to his chin. Now at 46 n 47 I come up to his chest. I’m Sicilian American my daughter is 4’8” and 1/4inch. If u don’t mention that she gets offended lol but I’m taller than her. She’s 21 so he’s not growing any more. So she’s a 4 inch heel kinda girl. Guys her age think she’s 13. Lol poor kid.

What a perfect expression of pure young love. Spencer and Trina affirmed each other and explained the past choices that each thought was for the others' greater good, but only served to build the tension and longing of undeniable feelings. Their selflessness had its reward! Trina being decisive about what she wanted, and giving *her consent*, boldly and freely, is what a new generation of women aspire to be. Spencer keeping his emotional and spiritual eyes on the guardrails to keep them from going past the point of no return, is what young men ought to do if they want to impress girls like Trina. Wow. No regrets. No confusion. No imbalance of power, or NEED of power, because Spencer and Trina were giving of themselves. For those reasons this scene is a rebuke to so many of the garden variety, desperately gratuitous crowd pleasers out there. It could be an elegant course correction of the confusing encounter from two generations ago, which always needs defending even though it launched the biggest soap supercouple of all time. This scene was packed with all the goods. Bravo to Chris and Dan, and Taby and Nic for bringing this to life.
Everytime I see Chris and Dan’s names on Sprina scenes, considering it seems to be their trend these days, I feel like they need to start putting ‘brought to you by’. They know they want to 😂

What a perfect expression of pure young love. Spencer and Trina affirmed each other and explained the past choices that each thought was for the others' greater good, but only served to build the tension and longing of undeniable feelings. Their selflessness had its reward! Trina being decisive about what she wanted, and giving *her consent*, boldly and freely, is what a new generation of women aspire to be. Spencer keeping his emotional and spiritual eyes on the guardrails to keep them from going past the point of no return, is what young men ought to do if they want to impress girls like Trina. Wow.
No regrets. No confusion. No imbalance of power, or NEED of power, because Spencer and Trina were giving of themselves.
For those reasons this scene is a rebuke to so many of the garden variety, desperately gratuitous crowd pleasers out there. It could be an elegant course correction of the confusing encounter from two generations ago, which always needs defending even though it launched the biggest soap supercouple of all time.
This scene was packed with all the goods. Bravo to Chris and Dan, and Taby and Nic for bringing this to life.
