Daizz's tips:-Growing flowers from seed can be a difficult task for beginning gardeners. Seeds and seedlings are delicate, and the wrong conditions can ruin them fairly easily. In order to achieve the best results, plant your seeds indoors into a small, sterile container using professionally packaged potting soil. Follow the instructions on the back of your seed packet and provide plenty of light and water to your growing seedlings. Once the flowers have developed strong enough roots, transplant them into your garden.
SUMMER FLOWER SEEDS SOWING TIME-march end to may or whenever temperature is between 28 to 38 degree Celsius

Wanted to confirm , when small seedlings come after that do i have to remove the celephine from the pots .. means should i cover the pot or not... some seedlings have not come yet ... so do i have to keep them covered till seedlings come.., Thanks
Once seed starts to germinate..you can remove the poly wrap n place them in full sun ...without sunlight they will turn tall n leggy ...but make sure to keep the soil moist all the time
@@urbangardeningofficial Hello I watched your other video where you put the pot in water to absorb it by itself, should i pit poly wrap aswell? Or remove the water underneath?
Good information mohith ji
@Urban Gardening . Hi, It was a very informative one. But can we keep the seedlings in the same large pot....without transplanting it to a new one. Kindly do reply🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hii urban gardening, you mentioned that after sowing seeds you cover the pot with cling wrap for 5 days, do you water seeds in between in those five days or you won't.
Amazing video! Please share from where do you buy vermicompost and fine sand?
The grown saplings should be planted a bit deeper since the lower stem has growing roots too. This encourages better growth and flowering.
Thank you so much!! I’ve realized what I’ve been doing wrong now going to correct it 😊🌱
Excellent tutorial.
Thank u sir
Sir I have planted my seedlings in seedling tray do I have to cover with plastic
Thanks for these detailed infos. I've one doubt, Can we plant the seeds in medium pot from the beginning or should they be moved to medium pot as soon as the seedlings reach 3-4 inches?

No need during cold season

Thanks
Super beautiful house
Thank u 🙂
Very helpful 👍🏻
Thanks
Nice Video Sirji 😄
Thanks
So after poly wrap is removed it is okay for direct sunlight? Or shall I keep it in non direct sunlight? Beautiful video I love flowers :)
Indirect at first. Then harden off by putting in sun for 1-2 hrs for a few days. Increase sun gradually till you can leave permantly in the sun.
@@velerialangbehn6088 how do we know that the plant has ready to be put in direct sunlight for 1-2 hrs?
@@millalamilla after you have left them uncovered and they have 2 to 4 leaves, not including the cotyledon leaves, which are the first two that come out, you can introduce them to an hour of sun, then next day a couple hours until they can stay out and not wilt. Then leave in full sun, if it is a plant that takes full sun. You have to ease the plant into the sun otherwise you will kill it.
It's best for the first day or two outside to put in part shade with only dappled sun.
@@velerialangbehn6088 thank you!
Mere yha eiher full sunlight or bilkul chav he mere ghar pe isha shedow area nhi he to ky mw polithin beg lga ke dhup me hi rakgu ya chav me? Plz reply

Hi sir, for the cosmos do i need to pinch the top of the plant to make them bushier? I watched your other videos and saw you did that, by the way do you have a tutorial for daisy? Thank you ^^
Yes when the plant is 6-8 inches tall.. Pinch the top part just above a leaf node to make it bushier... Video on Daisy flower coming soon

How many inch pot is enough for growing flowering plants ??
7-8 inch diameter pot
How many seedlings should be in 7-8 inch pot?
As a beginner I have a question. Instead of transferring the plant to a bigger pot, can i transfer it directly into the soil of my backyard?
@Urbangardening I have home made compost and cocopeat. Can I use that for sowing seeds?
I have sowed seeds twice before. But either they geeminated very little and died or did not germinate at all .
is perlite so important??? I have little amount of store bought vermicompost. Can I mix that with my compost?? Please guide.
Bcz these plants are not available readymade, and I am trying my best to grow from seeds.
@Urban Gardening
I realised, I asked you a similar question before. So you can see, I'm so desperate to grow plants. 😭😭😭
Nice
Can i use roting harmoon powder for seeds germation???
nicw video
He is very descriptive.. ✔
But how often do you water from day 1 ?
How do you keep the snails and bugs away from eating the small seedlings.
My seedlings from the garden store punnets always get nibbled at by something ?? It's annoying..
What should I use as a home made remedy to deter these pests. 🐛🐌
4:00 will it get mold grow on the soil?
I wish I could grow some flowers or plants.
Bro do you buy all those compost, sand, cocopeat?? Or you make at home? I mean It's a lot .....
Compost can be easily made at home if you have some space and the time and effort to turn it but Sand and cocopeat cannot be made at home unless you live on a sandy soil then you can take from it but cocopeat is from coconut fiber and quite industrial so you would have to buy it. If you don’t want to buy cocopeat you can gather tree leaves and dry them in large bags and break them into small pieces maybe by stepping on them and they become like cocopeat
Keep in mind that coco coir definitely has traces of cow poop in it. Do NOT use peat pellets to start seeds! The starch that held the pellet can retract underground like an accordion and suffocate your roots. Lowe’s has gardening classes in April. You should check that out where u live.
I too am curious about why I’m paying for so much mulch in my gardening soil. They say Miracle Gro is the worst, but it has the same stuff as Fox Farm. MG is about $4 a cube whereas FF is like $25 a cube and u can find the same NPK and content between the two. Betcha MG would be much less likely to have fungus gnats flying out of it within a week because that’s what happened with my Happy Frog.
Thank for ur video awsome video .where r u from friend .
Can I use coco peat instead of fine sand???
My nemophila menziesii flower seeds packet gave different instructions for seeds. It says to put the seeds 3mm into the soil but do not cover soil over seeds. You prefer to cover seeds with a thin layer of soil. I wonder why it's different.
Is there any method to know the sowing season of a particular seed?
Can I use polythene bag to cover the pot
Can you add a link for the sand and compost you use?
