Daizz's tips:-Growing flowers from seed can be a difficult task for beginning gardeners. Seeds and seedlings are delicate, and the wrong conditions can ruin them fairly easily. In order to achieve the best results, plant your seeds indoors into a small, sterile container using professionally packaged potting soil. Follow the instructions on the back of your seed packet and provide plenty of light and water to your growing seedlings. Once the flowers have developed strong enough roots, transplant them into your garden.
SUMMER FLOWER SEEDS SOWING TIME-march end to may or whenever temperature is between 28 to 38 degree Celsius

Compost can be easily made at home if you have some space and the time and effort to turn it but Sand and cocopeat cannot be made at home unless you live on a sandy soil then you can take from it but cocopeat is from coconut fiber and quite industrial so you would have to buy it. If you don’t want to buy cocopeat you can gather tree leaves and dry them in large bags and break them into small pieces maybe by stepping on them and they become like cocopeat

Keep in mind that coco coir definitely has traces of cow poop in it. Do NOT use peat pellets to start seeds! The starch that held the pellet can retract underground like an accordion and suffocate your roots. Lowe’s has gardening classes in April. You should check that out where u live.
I too am curious about why I’m paying for so much mulch in my gardening soil. They say Miracle Gro is the worst, but it has the same stuff as Fox Farm. MG is about $4 a cube whereas FF is like $25 a cube and u can find the same NPK and content between the two. Betcha MG would be much less likely to have fungus gnats flying out of it within a week because that’s what happened with my Happy Frog.
