    This is so damn awesome... Look at his wife man, look at the chemistry, look how much respect his sons have for their father. Look how happy that family seems to be.
    This is the dream right here. All 4 of your son's win a state championship, all 4 played in college, all 4 have a shot to make it to the NFL, a loving, supportive wife. Man I'm smiling from ear to ear. What a family.

    Ed has life figured out. You can just tell. His wisdom, humility, putting sons/kids first, doing what he finds fulfilling, his demeanor...definitely envious of that but also inspiring. Dudes a Stanford grad who could literally be doing anything, but he coaches high school football because of fulfillment. Dont follow the money, follow your heart.

      I mean it helps he made his money in the nfl but I assume the contacts then weren’t a fraction of today but it is commendable the ability to take what you loved and teach it to your sons and give them all the ability to succeed and get an education for basically free

    Lisa's father, Dave Sime, was a silver medalist in the 100 meters at the 1960 Olympics and had a personal best of 10.1. He was drafted (1959) by the Chicago Bears and was also offered by several MLB teams before telling both that he was going to medical school. He wound up being a top ophthalmologist, listing Bob Griese, Mickey Mantle and Don Shula as some of his clients.

    I grew up playing football with Dylan and was around their family a good amount. They're some of the kindest people I have ever met and Ed even coached our peewee team to like 6 championships. I can remember Christian coming up to me after one of our games and telling me I played well, which I still reminisce on today. I'm happy to see they're doing so well and I hope the younger two can make it to the league like the older two did.

      Dylan is currently the backup QB for Michigan. But he’s definitely in line to take over the reigns at QB next season for Michigan. Dude is a stud. Can’t wait for his time to come, you’ll hear his name a lot.

    • @Zappappappappa
      @Zappappappappa 4 роки тому +3

      @@Davidisawesome15 he has the advantage over Joe Milton in the QB battle as of now due to his experience and athleticism which makes the defense have to account for that. Milton is a good athlete as well but he isn't nearly as quick with his first step as well as with the long speed Dylan possesses, he has the arm strength advantage but Dylan was more accurate when passing when we saw them last. Dylan also knows when to ease up and put more touch on his passes whereas Milton has a habit of just gunning it every throw so his accuracy suffers but that is also a product of having the awareness during a play to know what the situation calls for and when to throw it hard or add touch which Dylan has been cited as having the best football IQ and awareness of any quarterback on the team during his time at Michigan (even more than Speight and Patterson.) That's from being around football his entire life which is a trait a lot of players never develop, I think he'll be Michigan's starter and unfortunately I think he'll make it obvious that Harbaugh should have went with him as the starter early on. The biggest area of improvement for Dylan is knowing when to slide and learning to protect himself when he is running with the ball because he has already suffered a broken collarbone and a separate concussion due to exposing himself to a hard hit even though the collarbone injury was when he was much lighter weight wise and the concussion against Wisconsin was an extremely dirty and premeditated hit to hurt him. The future is bright!

    Christian McCaffrey's speed comes more from his mother than his father. Lisa McCaffrey's dad was Dave Sime who won a silver medal in the 1960 Olympic 100m in a then record 10.2 finishing 2nd to Armin Hary who won by an inch in the same time. He 'won' a gold anchoring the men's 4x100m relay, but had the gold stripped when it was found that the US had passed the baton out of the zone between the 1st & second legs.

      Hard to believe that they didn't mention this. Dave Sime, not Lisa, was the first family member to appear in Sports Illustrated. He was also faster than his son-in-law and his grandsons. NFL Films (or whoever actually made this) really dropped the ball, something that the McCafferys didn't do very much.

      More like the best end. Him being short made him a successful RB as having a lower center of gravity helps tremendously. He would have been put in as a QB or a WR, like his brothers, had he been tall enough. Which means we would have missed an All-Pro RB (who happens to be White).

      Being short is beneficial in certain ways when you’re a running back. Smaller target to hit, lower center of gravity and harder for linebackers to see through the trenches.

      What? He’s ONLY 5’11? The way he breaks tackles and takes multiple CAREER ENDING hits every game like it’s nothing and keeps going is just UNREAL... Really don’t know HOW he does it, you can even see when the other players on the field are shocked and can’t believe it! Just amazing to watch him play
