my good old prof used to say : student vote by feet - meaning if you are not good they go, here we see further development - audience voting by standing after his interview. BRRRRILLIANT!
I watched this interview live at rod laver arena, it was so entertaining that I have to come back to watch this video again… I also caught him at his warm up session before his match today, he spent a lot of time giving autographs and taking selfies with his fans afterwards, such a chill and lovable guy!!
Daniil and Novak have the best personalities in tennis! Love hearing both of them! They both have a sense of humour as well and both are very respectful!
The best thing about these interviews is that they are two very nice guys, one American, the other Russian and the get along like they were close friends. Something some politicians should reflect on...
Well difficult with a dictator like putin... But a good reminder to seperate between politics and the people of a country/nationality :) Hate putin, but don't hate russians....
I'm Italian but in tennis, I'm Russian! I love Daniil and Andrei! they 're extremely talented and their personalities are extremely honest and funny. Awesome boys!
This is one of the top few feel good stories of the AO for me this year. Daniil probably played the best tennis in 2022 AO but lost a slam because the crowd treated him poorly and were big on Rafa making history at the time. Definitely let it get to him. Daniil did some jerk moves in anger as well in some matches with umpires etc to help fuel that fire. But he's really making an effort to improve relations with the Aussie crowd and I really think he's turning the table. A player now that looks like he's really enjoying himself out here. And im not even sure if his tennis is quite as good as 2021-22 level, yet anyway. But his engagement and popularity are really improving. This guy has great tennis IQ and im sure realises the AO hard courts suit his game well and still reflect great Slam winning opportunities. No one is giving more back to the fans it seems in their media work this year. The guy finished at 340am and first thing he did was thank the crowd. Novak is class but Daniil I think is more relateable to ur average fan and you can see how much he is enjoying it. I hope its a real turning point for him
Looking forward after Daniil's career in playing tennis . He will be a great commentator , he is so funny in all his interviews . He really looks comfortable in the microphone , so Im not going to surprise if he takes a job behind the mic in the future .
Courier did the same thing against Agassi in the French Open final …just not as far back! Jim was told by his coach to take a step back on the return of serve and it definitely helped him get an advantage against Andre and Jim ended up winning it. I’m so proud of both Jim and Andre as I knew them when we were all protégés of Nick Bollettieri back in the mid 80’s. Bravo Danil for winning a tough match
the self-awareness and where-with-all that Meddy has is second to none! and so witty, his interviews might be more interesting to watch than his matches! though his tennis is also phenomenal. class act - Djokovic-esque
Daniil is the best. But you know who is also the best: Jim Courier! Hands down the best tennis interviewer ever. He's not some talking-head corporate sportscaster, thank God, but instead a real-by-God former star in the sport who loves the game and always brings out the best in the personalities of players while always striving to understand what they do and how they do it. He is phenomenal, leaving all the other hot-air specialists in his wake. What a great segment!!
The terminal speed of a tennis ball is 76 kmh. A serve slows down rapidly. The only problem standing back is the return does the same thing. Medvedev is smart enough to find his own comfort zone
Is the Umpire’s chair an accident waiting to happen ? ? The chair looks great BUT . . . I’m really concerned for any player running towards that spot, usually for a drop-shot, the thin edge of the base of the chair appears extremely dangerous and could cause a serious injury. Maybe the chair could be positioned a little bit further back or raised higher than head height. It should definitely have some ‘safeguards’ around the edge.
You can stop watching Daniil’s matches, but you can’t stop watching his interviews and press conferences
Haha so true. To be fair, he is fun to watch in the matches and the interviews also.
Jim Courier is also a great interviewer❤
@@CookingwithTotti I agree, but I saw a lot of comments that Daniil’s style of tennis for someone is boring….
But I really like watching his matches!
Exactly 💯😅
I cannot stop both
Other players: 3 minutes
Daniil Medvedev: 6 minutes
As usual, one more iconic interview with Daniil and Jim🔥
We get realness, comedy, and now tennis classes in his interviews 😂😂😂 He's always so entertaining. His interviews and pressers are must watch 😂😂😂
my good old prof used to say : student vote by feet - meaning if you are not good they go, here we see further development - audience voting by standing after his interview. BRRRRILLIANT!
I have not seen better interviews than Daniil's and Andrey's in my whole life
i agree
they are honest and funny!
His interviews are way better than any artificial Netflix shows 😊

Yes, He should not worry about a career after tennis- this guy can become the best speaker in the world
Medvedev was born to entertain.
Daniil and Novak have the best personalities in tennis! Love hearing both of them! They both have a sense of humour as well and both are very respectful!
And Rublev as well 😊

Brilliant tennis IQ and would love to see him in commentary in the future.
Best post match interviews in the history of tennis
Best court interview of this AO!!!
As fun as Med is, Jim Courier makes this happen. He reads each individual player's vibes so well, I hope AO never let him go
i love this guy
two pros talk alway interesting and fun. love it.
Actual legend. Love Meddy, I'm hoping he gets to the final!!
Nice guy and very intelligent. Most misunderstood player on tour

Great interview!!!!❤❤❤❤
Wow what an incredible interview 🎉
He is one of the many that I didn't like at first, then he becomes someone I like. Great job.
So enjoyable to watch his play and his dynamic interview!
Would have been nice to have aired this interview on channel 9 after the match - plz play meddys interviews

Jim Courier asks great questions and great job.
How can anyone dislike this guy?
Those who dislike him should try to appreciate his so good & lovely personality
We love you man. Keep going. Interviews of you are always best
It’s not only a serve-returning masterclass from Medvedev, but also an on-court interview masterclass by Jim Currier!! 🎉
Very good: everybody enjoys clever questions and sincere answers 😊...
Great master class. You go Medi.
Jim loves him...
What a gem
SO entertaining Meddy! So good!
Daniil should try himself in stand up comedy after his retirement 😅
LOVVE THISSS!! Such a big Danill fan :)
LOL love this guy!
Only 35K views! How is it possible?
He's so engaging. I really think he'll stay very close to the game in many roles when his time finally comes to retire.
GOATED interview
😄Amazing unique player and person. Adds lot of good vibes to the sport.
Absolutely the best❤
People hated him for a long time but he kept his cool, and now he has turned it around.
😂😂😂lets go daniil, keep up with the good tennis

❤❤
Nole won against Meddy at USO last year by utilising the serve and volley and taking advantage of his far away stance return 😉
If you hate this guy i feel sorry for your life
Meddy🫶
Medvedev got a brain of GM
Alcaraz stands no chance against him
Still cant forget when he said 'boring' at the 2022 finals 😂😂
my guy is GOAT
