He could have made it to the final far easily. I am a fan of him but you need to be consistent and clutch to win grand slams. At the final, he played extremely well, better than his previous rounds. If he had played like this throughout the tournament, he might have won it. The service games is the key for him I believe.
When Medvedev took the third set I was sure that he will win because he improved his serve and the only reason zverev was leading 2 sets was Medvedev's serve low quality. Once he fixed it, zverev couldn't do anything.
I like how AO uploads the match proper, including the full changeovers. USO edits this out of full match uploads. A lot can be gained from observing the players and listening to the commentary in these moments. Thank you!

I really don't think it was the same thing. Zverev gave up mentally, while Daniil's problem in the final was more of a physical exhaustion. Two very different things

Medvedev lose in final because of physical exhaustion he played 4 five setter in the tournament nobody did this before
