Maybe it's because WWF was all I could get on TV, as a kid, and I knew of Demolition before the Road Warriors, that I never saw them as inferior to the Road Warriors. As characters, wrestlers, and people Demolition were as good (or better) in my opinion.

He did the Bash 86 tour and Starrcade 86 with Ivan against Kansas Jayhawks...According to historyofwwe website he wrestled a Jan & Feb 1987 matches.
