He paid his dues in wrestling loved when he was black top bully.wrestled with the best and took on the best he was a force to face in the ring awesome gentleman God bless .💪🤠
The look on that man’s face when recounting Jim Crockett’s reply; “That’s what you deserve - you ain’t getting anymore money.”, is painful. Glad he got to work with many of the best and then got out and moved on to better things. Great guy.

@@TitleMatchWrestling Demolition should be in the WWF Hall of Fame. The three most popular tag-teams of the 80's were the Hart Foundation, British Bulldogs, and Demolition.
This brings back great memories, i remember once when i was in the Military and stationed in Georgia(And remember i was young and one of those who like Barry said believed that Ivan was really a Russian bad guy) and driving down I-95 and i passed a car and i looked over as most people do and who do i see but Ivan driving and Dusty Rhodes in the passenger seat, i nearly shit my pants and my perception of reality changed that day.................ahhhhhhhh good times lol
Why Demolition is not in the Hall of Fame is criminal! *Best Tag Team Gimmick of all time *Holds record for longest reign time with WWF Tag Belts *Major feuds with main event legends Andre the Giant, Brett Hart, Road Warriors (LOD) Cmon HHH, get these guys in there!!!
Barry Dawsow was no doubt a good hand in the 80's and early 90's. Let's give him some appreciation for his tag team greatness, and his ability to accept crappy gimmicks.
Dayum.. I had no idea why he disappeared from the NWA till today.. You could see the pain in his eyes when he talked About his broken leg an being ripped off by Crockett promotions..Glad it worked out for him an Demolition
I remember seeing Barry progress and thought that for sure the JCP heads would eventually program him into some good angles . Never really happened . He should have had some really tough battles and cagematches as a single imo .
It might be hard to find two guys to fit the bill but I wouldn't mind seeing a Demo 2016 team . I would hope they go with big burly power lifters as opposed to body builders . I wonder if the WWE and Demolition could get together on that ? Maybe have a Japanese Manager too ? Would be great .
I heard of about the shady shit Crockett used to pull but I didn't know he was a theif, Darsow is such a genuine dude I'm glad he left or I would have never seen Demolition as a kid
Considering wcw had him on the payroll from like 95-99 as Blacktop Bully, Barry Darsow, Hole in one Darsow and Krusher Darsow on WCW worldwide & WCW Saturday Night, it seems to me like Barry got that money Crocket stolen back tenfold. Smash was probably my favorite as kid though, i absolutely loved demolition growing up. ua-cam.com/play/PLzUe-EuTVgmoB613spTcopIjr-t-2V7fY.html Check these matches though, he was just cashing checks in WCW ua-cam.com/play/PLzUe-EuTVgmosTVRGdD3Xs4gVg9OTZspY.html
Maybe it's because WWF was all I could get on TV, as a kid, and I knew of Demolition before the Road Warriors, that I never saw them as inferior to the Road Warriors. As characters, wrestlers, and people Demolition were as good (or better) in my opinion.
Barry or Mr. Dario, er black top bully, er repo man. This wrestler is great and is telling the truth. Great interview every thing he says is true, not to mention the thing about magnum. Magnum would of been as popular or more than Hogan until the accident.
He's got his timeline competely wrong...He's claiming being angry at the pay after Sam Houston match (Starrcade 85) then quit...Well I guess he didnt wrestled rest of 1986.. He did the Bash 86 tour and Starrcade 86 with Ivan against Kansas Jayhawks...According to historyofwwe website he wrestled a Jan & Feb 1987 matches.
@Ron Requena why do assholes like you always have to bring up god damn politics? You could have just made your point and moved on, but no, you had to make it fucking political like all your ilk do. Fucking weirdos.
It's kinda funny how people thought wrestling was "real" back in the day. I think it goes to show how different the WORLD was back then more than the "secrecy" of kayfabe.
I get he got shafted on his money and never got the amount he expected but I don't know how that makes the promoter a thief. Maybe my definition of a thief is different but he never actually stole anything from him, he lied about the money he would make for a nights work. The promoter is a liar, not a thief. Either way he done the right thing and told him to ram his job at the company.
Barry and Bill seem like such great people. Makes sense how they made Demolition so successful. We'll probably never see the likes of them again.
Great interview. Barry seems like a genuine, good guy who worked his tail off to make a living entertaining fans to the best of his ability.
We feel the same way about Barry - just a great guy. Thanks so much for watching!
He paid his dues in wrestling loved when he was black top bully.wrestled with the best and took on the best he was a force to face in the ring awesome gentleman God bless .💪🤠
Love how candid Barry is. Glad that Vince signed him and paid him well for the excellent work he provided us in the WWF.

One half of the best WWF tag team of all time
Awesome. It's time for both Barry and Ivan to go into the all. Thank you, Title Match Wrestling.

Cmon HHH, get these guys in there!!!
I heard there is heat over Bill suing for control over the Demolition gimmick and winning .
Third Herd Right! Same reason as Ken Patera
Well spoken intelligent guy
Great upload, thanks!
+pepperj Appreciate you watching! Glad you enjoyed it
One of my childhood hero’s. Barry, Hogan & Hennig were the pro wrestlers I idolized

I just met him and Ax in person at Wrestling Universe in flushing queens nyc....110% gentlemen....down to earth....real good people
great worker... much respect to him
I remember that great one-liner he had when he was Repo Man ..
“ What’s mine is mine and what’s yours, is mine too! “ 😂
Should be a Hall of Famer as Smash!
AS WELL AS KRUSHER KRUSHEV !
Jim Crockett was the Real Repo Man.
Dayum.. I had no idea why he disappeared from the NWA till today.. You could see the pain in his eyes when he talked About his broken leg an being ripped off by Crockett promotions..Glad it worked out for him an Demolition
Why isn't Demolition in Hall of Fame? Let alone Barry and Bill as individual wrestlers. Maybe the XFL will work the 3rd time.
I remember when he and Jim Neidhart dominated the competition for a short time in CWF💯
"The lowest form of a person is a thief" True, it's funny when he said this while he played one or his character Repo Man was kinda of a thief
Lol
"I heard he repossessed his own car" Bobby"The Brain"Heenan ✨😄RIP👆
Demolition was better and safer than LOD.
Yeah I noticed that, LOD weren't good at selling some moves
I remember seeing Barry progress and thought that for sure the JCP heads would eventually program him into some good angles . Never really happened . He should have had some really tough battles and cagematches as a single imo .

WWE had the Ascension and ruined them

My boy!
i like to see smash wins the wwf championship just one time
The greatest tag team ever demolition
Take a drink every time Barry mentions Sam Houston!

For Dusty to say that he had nothing to do with it was him covering his ass. And Barry wasn't the only one they did that to.
Maybe it's because WWF was all I could get on TV, as a kid, and I knew of Demolition before the Road Warriors, that I never saw them as inferior to the Road Warriors. As characters, wrestlers, and people Demolition were as good (or better) in my opinion.

KRUSHER KRUSHEV !
U 💘 demolition my fave was smash😃😃I also 💘 their mask it was 🔥 🔥

Will Demolition ever be in the WWE HOF?
1 of the nice guys of wrestling!
A down to 🌎 cat in person!🤼🤼🤼🤼🤼
Top production, can't hear a flippin question being asked
Now that they’re both older and bald, Barry and Jimmy garvin look a lot alike

Repoman is smash in the wwf
It's kinda funny how people thought wrestling was "real" back in the day. I think it goes to show how different the WORLD was back then more than the "secrecy" of kayfabe.
Smash looks like David Berkowitz, the Son of Sam.
Cool

Very interesting.
REPO MAN!😂
Krusher was the muscle of the Russians. I got to see them live in Georgia when I was in the Army. HE WAS HUGE. W BIGGER THAN Nikita Huge fan
