Roy's first exposure to the guitar was with Steel guitar, which still influenced his playing throughout. Whats amazing is, that he could recreate the effect without the aid of any outer source other than his tele. And people should know that this guy was doing this stuff way ahead of the game. A true virtuoso.
Many thx for this reaction. I think I didn´t promise too much. Roy was one of the very few guitarits who could make his guitar weep and cry. He was a terrible singer and a man who fought his inner demons all his life, but when he played his guitar he succeded many times to bring tears to my eyes. R.I.P. Roy
Schlaf gut
Fantastic. Toby can you tell me any tips how to get a clear sound finger picking F chord! I hate this chord so much but all my favourite songs have it. I can’t get a good sound 😂 Any tips?! Or just keep practicing?!
Practice is always key, sorry😅 What could help, is to rotate the finger just a little bit. The sides are harder than the Inside, so it might be easier for you to get enough pressure on the strings. Hope my english was good enough to explain that properly😅
Meaning the Index finger of course, that's lying above all of the strings. Another Option would be to play the easy Version of it. So, not the bar chord. It's kinda like a Cmaj but with either your thumb holding the base note on the low e String or just muting the e String or don't play it. Pretty Sure, you'll find some example on UA-cam or somewehere else in the www
@@jokerreactions7077 oh thanks so much yes I know the easy version but i really want to master the full chord.. I will try what you said I know what you mean.. thanks for the explanation 😉 have a good day!
This song was an obvious Christian metaphor. Surprised that somehow escaped you. In any case, Buchanon was a true guitar genius. As anyone who knows anything about guitarists knows. Hey, ever heard of Rory Gallagher? Jimi Hendrix?
R.I.P the great Roy Buchanan, wonderful cool guitarists and writers.
Yes Tedeschi Trucks and Allman Bros Band more more more

What a genius was Roy, His death is subject to much speculation!
Please react to more Roy Buchanan. He's truly gifted at the next level. I have never seen someone play with total ease and almost appears effortless
He made that Tele make sounds we didn't know it was capable of!

Still waiting my friend for more reactions by you of Roy Buchanan. Danke
He the man, never needed foot peddles to get the sound he made on guitar, ,
Roy Buchanan SECOND ALBUM, my favorite piece of music.
He's referring to the story of Jesus and the world with their unbelief toward Him. Amen 🙏 He always let his guitar do the talking.. Mean azzz.
Thank you. More Roy please. So under rated !!! One of the best to ever do it
Roy's Blues from Livestock is my all time favorite-1974
Great review!
He called his guitar "Nancy".
Rest In Peace Roy

No pedal board, no wah wah. All technique.
That's not the lyrics.
You interrupt to much
Your commentary is ruining the performance of master Roy Buchanan. Go away!
