Shooting Troubles | Creating samples for BitBox.

As in fxing problems and trouble shooting. Tonight I have a small 15 minute gig and I had only 10 minutes of 'interest span'. So I needed something to build the tension. I wanted to bring my EaganMatrix, but since it's an MPE device, it can only be controlled by MPE controllers like a Seaboard Rise, Sensel Morph or Linnstrument. And if you don't want to bring a laptop, you'd need a midi host to convert USB to Midi DIN. And then Murphy's Law kicked in and broke my Eurorack Midi interface. I had to figure out what's wrong so I connected the EM to my PC and use it as a USB host. While trouble shooting a wonderful piece of music unfolded and I transferred some of the notes to BitBox so I can use it later this evening - and you'll know where they came from. This also shows that even if you don't bleep, you can easily use a modular for designing your own sound and bring it to your music.
I will post the sounds on my Patreon for my early adopters tomorrow but I am still setting up the tiers so please don't join until it's officially 'open'. I tried a few runs with the set, some good, some not so good. Let's just see how it goes.

No longer produced but the Polyend Poly 2 does USB host.

I need to use my BitBox (micro) more, it's now a simple 'rompler' for drum sounds. 😞

I got a Launchpad X for the Westlicht. It doesn't work with the current firmware despite being supported. I think I found an issue in the code I could fix but so far all attempts to recompile have failed. And what's worse, the developer seems to have mostly checked out. So it feels like a pretty dead end device at the moment. With nobody maintaining the firmware. A lot has been untouched for years.

I had to give back my new Eagan Matrix 2 months ago, under guarantee, suddenly was not working well with the Linnstrument, and then reboot of the EM was randomly stopping … changed for a Continuum Mini… Not the same, but still sounds are there…
Have not figured out how to connect Linnstrument to the ContinuuMini, since it’s powered by USB, use in vain a usb midi router… a pitty…

I used the Linnstrument powered by an adapter and then you can use both USB and Midi DIN.
