I work with photography, but every now and then I venture into filming. However, I always filmed only with smartphone (first an iPhone XR and now with a 12 Pro Max). Your video came at just the right time, as I've decided it's time to migrate footage to my Canons as well. It was great to see you, as a video maker, talk about the advantages and disadvantages of each one. Thank you!
Hi Zdenka your cameras are awesome and the cam Corder is 100% beautiful colors love the last video as well keep up the great work I'm very proud of your work 💪. Your friendly youtuber Mr Gaza
I gradually watch your video productions, a lot of practical knowledge - I take my hat off 👍. Can you confirm that Viltrox 24/1.8 has a strong vignette? I know this is a problem with many wide angle lenses, but how can you compare it to other similar lenses? ...thank you for your answer, best regards
Thank you very much for your support. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. I post here. It has some vignette yes. This is hard to answer as I really don’t compare it to the other lenses. To be honest, I actually add some vignettes in the post on my photos, so I’m welcoming that effect…. I understand however if you’re looking for lens, that doesn’t have it. I’m afraid I don’t know other brand that could be at this price range.
@@ZdenkaDarulaHi , I'm asking questions because I think it's wise to take advantage of other people's experience 👍. The vignette is ok, I sometimes add it when I take a quick photo with my phone to make the image more "plastic" 😉. If Viltrox makes too much, it will correct it in the program. The lenses from this manufacturer have worked well for me so far, so I hope that the 24/1.8 will also be ok... and by the way, my kidney will stay in its place 🤣
@@ZdenkaDarula you also showed its limitations, which is crucial for beginners, I'm not going to be taking up photography as a professional, that's for, but it's great to have input from one 😀 👍
I bought a Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 and it’s on my camera 90% of the time. Although I use it mostly at f/2.8. It’s a great lens for both video and photo but really heavy and tough for lighter gimbals. I tell you though I think the lens I enjoy the most is the Nifty Fifty. Thanks for the video. I’m going to look into Tamron lenses. I’ve never tried one.
Hi Zdenka, Thank You for explaining the Nifty 50 is so noisy for video, so I will not waste my trying to film food video with it. I have it on my Canon and am struggling hence I bought an iPhone 13 pro max instead. I will practice and focus more on my food photography with it as I am still learning... Thank You sooooo much from 🇬🇧💞
I just recently re-subscribed. This was a good video however I only use Canon cameras and some of your lenses are specific to other brands. Good information though and I learned some good pointers from you. I just purchased a 5D Mark II and a EF 24-105 L because I never used a full frame. Wow, I am impressed with it even though it is an older camera. I wish you did some videos on that camera in the past.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am glad you are enjoying your set up. It is a good lens you got.., you should be able to use it in most situations
Always loved your videos. Zdenka, what would you recommend for a camera would be in a studio just for broadcasting and recording educational Zoom sessions then posting to UA-cam?
To be honest I don’t think you need anything expensive. I unfortunately don’t sell cameras and I don’t shop for them either so I don’t know what is currently on the market. It will be probably better to talk to someone who actually reviews cameras
Started out with m6 mark l and eventually upgraded to the mark ll. My least used lens is the rokinon 21mm 1.8 as it’s manual and a pain to set up shots. The lens I love the most is the sigma art 30mm 1.4 dc. It is technically an efs lens but there is no vignetting when using a speedbooster and it basically give me the same field of view as the 22mm pancake lens but at a 1.0 aperture. If you want some really good footage to work with you can use an atomos ninja v with mark ll as it will output uncompressed 10 bit 4k over clean hdmi. You will need to shoot in pal 25 fps as canon never included 24fps for clean hdmi out but nobody can tell the difference😎 love the video thanks 👍
Great video if I had to pick a lens that’s collecting dust that would be my 85mm 1.8 I find myself using the 35mm f/2 more i’ll even pick up the 50mm 1.8 before I pickup the 85 overall it’s a good lens I plan on using it more this year.
Believe it or not, I absolutely hated prime lenses for wedding photography. I thought glued to one spot and I was not able to quickly capture what I was looking for. I was exclusively using lenses where I could use them in an out to get precise, framing, and get those moments I would otherwise mess.
One more question Zdenka, can you please tell me how to use the Osmo 5 recording button to activate the native cam from my galaxy s22 ultra phone instead using my finger every time?? Know what I mean?? Cuz I use to do that way with previous galaxies but I had forgotten how!! Thanks in advance, Gus
Hi once again, the video is just in time. I am trying to make a decision between canon 2.8 70-200mm or the canon F-4 70-200mm, I love crispy pictures and I shoot some landscapes and flowers and I love night shoots. I find myself walking around most of the time just taking picture of what catches my eye. I belong to 3 groups on facebook and that is where I post most of my pictures. ant insight will help Keep up the great work.
Great minds think alike in that we both agree that the Canon 70-200 is an A1 lens. On the face of it, it seems crazy to carry around such a large lump all the time but that said, this is the lens that I have attached to either my Canon 40D or 7D most of the time. Is there an adapter for my iPhone 13? 😀
Is it really worth to switch from mobile videography to actual camera vediography? I asked this question many times to myself but still not sure due to these multi lenses variety options 🙄. What is best?
I believe anyone who watches UA-cam and choose a Sony camera did it solely from peer pressure. You can’t argue that Sony doesn’t have an excellent marketing department.
Unfortunately no. I had an eye on a Sony for a few years and I was waiting until the camera specs comes out…., Then I went to see my friend in Toronto which works in one of the best camera stores and I did all the tests there…, Once I had it in my hands and I saw that the navigation is so much easier than Canon there was nothing else to think about
