I think this is the first shoetuber to review this shoe and not knock the rubberized EVA for durability... and I think he's 100% right. People seem to focus on the EVA part and totally forget the rubber in terms of the durability.

Loving my Mach 4s. I call them my fast day Cliftons. Hoka inherent bucket seat design has kept my old bones injury free but it’s hard to do faster stuff in Clifton. Previous Mach was painful to run in because it was so firm. I feel like Hoka interviewed me and made my dream shoe to compliment Clifton.

I don’t know what kind of magic they use but Hoka’s upper design and material definitely my go to shoe. It’s so easy and comfy to put my feet in and out of the shoe. That’s my experience with the Clifton. Gonna try this Mach for my longer run as well. Thanks for the review. Keep well! 👍

I love the Mach 4 so far - ran up to NoDa Brewing and then back down to Lower Left last weekend. Great feel in the Mach. I wish the Clifton 6 and Rincon 1 had the same gusseted tongue that the Mach 4 has because it really locks in that secure fit in the upper.

Well, we have a couple more reviews coming and we're going to get the lighting/setting right ASAP. Go figure the shoe team can't put together a consistent viewing experience! 🤣

Glad to see you back and I agree with the comments about the lighting. 😀 I’ve heard some say they thought this was a lightweight daily trainer. Would you agree with that assessment?
On the lighting: Don't hold your breath for the next two weeks...its not getting better. 🤣 After that, we're hoping it will be nailed down!
On the shoe: We really enjoy this one. We'd be happy to run anything from a 5k to a marathon in it and don't feel like we'd be giving up that much in either. It really does feel about the same at mile 15 as it does at mile 1, so that consistency is appreciated. For us, that makes a great training shoe, and it is very light!!

What’s the difference between the Mach and the Rincon? Is one better suited for longer runs? Or for speed work?
Is that a super narrow tite as heck hoka Hoka One One. Hoka One One is a phrase from the language of New Zealand's indigenous Maori that loosely translates as “to fly over the earth.” The founders say they used a New Zealand name out of admiration for that country's rich adventure racing heritage.Jul 27, 2022
Great review Nathan! What are the different colors on this shoe?
Right now there are three: Blue Flower/Citrus (whitish+yellow), Blue Fog/Fiesta (Light Blue+"fiesta") and Black/Dark Shadow (shown) for men, and Blue Flower/Citrus, Blue Fog/Hot Coral (maybe the "fiesta" is slightly different on this one? They look pretty much the same to us) and Black/Dark Shadow. We think the best color is yet to come: Hot Coral/Saffron (bright & awesome). The supply chains have been so messed up were not sure of the launch date, but since this shoe is sold out pretty much everywhere and you may have to wait...we think this is the color to go for. :)
Whith 82 kg can I run my first marathon a 10:30/mile 4:30 hours .
