    I love it when the band plays rare old songs like this! I also wished they played some newer stuff in concert also!

    Yikes ... wonder why they are in Eb? The original recording is in C and a lot easier to perform vocally. The mojo went away with Kath.

      The song was originally in C and it was Cetera who sang "CANT HAVE YOU HIDING " not Terry Kath .

    And it only takes 59 seconds for the director to find the singer!

      ...And it took only 58 seconds for the lighting director to turn on the spotlight.

    Peter Cetera made the original version special with his vocals and bass playing.

    Surprise the band let the new guy singing Peter Cetera's part be altered with a different phrasing to that extreme, I know they give the new band members their freedom,, but come on it's just a little part with 5 words.. why did they let him butcher the song like they should have just let Jason handle the high part like the rest of the song. I hate knocking anybody but dang.. that sounds like poopy,, he even sounds flat, and what happened to the cool bass part that used to stand out before the break, I wonder when was the last time the band listened to the original recording, its great to improvising making things better or just a little different sometimes especially if it's coming from the original singers but if it doesn't do the song justice why not just go back to the original that was working better before, especially a more popular Chicago song that most people recognize. I guess in reality the only thing that's left now of Chicago is Robert Lamm James pankow and Lee Loughnene., still love those guys and grateful they're still burning the flame for Terry.

      Exactly, Scott, Cetera’s bit was a HUGE part of the original. (His bass playing, too.) The lead here did a nice job, at least. And nice horns.

      Yeah, Jason looked like he lost some steam and couldn't hit the high notes, it didn't sound that great.

    Jason scheff doesnt sound good here, but he rarely does anymore. Bobby on the other hand is ageless.

      They should've kept it in the original key. E flat and lot of struggling in this version. From all party's vocally involved.

    alllll these years and they 'should have' had loads n loads of guest stars joining in. this was the uncomfortable Drew Hester period. he was good but he n Tris just didn't ever click to me.

    Bad sound quality background vocal too loud over Bobby. Bone solo awesome!! original background vocal was better. should of been a #1 hit for them!

    who's the sax player?

    • @tomandreacio2968
      @tomandreacio2968 9 років тому

      Sax player's name is Ray Herrmann. He's been subbing for Walt on tour for a number of years. I've heard walk is having health problems. The original guys are all getting old.
