- This series features a complete beginner's guide to Stoneshard, which I started in 2022 and am continuing into 2023. I am now starting the guide over to explain how to play a new character, so if you want the basics of the game--go to the beginning of the playlist! (linked below) From episode 9 forward, we are playing a Sorceress!
Stoneshard is a fantastic open-world roguelike fantasy RPG with involved survival and injury mechanics. The game has a very punishing difficulty curve and with this guide I intend to help you start a new character and build up enough to complete the early quests, get a strong character, and move onto the next town. This is aimed at brand new players or returning Stoneshard players, as much has changed since it's first release in early access. It will be a multi-episode series as I thoroughly explain all aspects of the game and my decision making as I start from the very beginning make progress with our character.
Come learn to get better at Stoneshard so you can enjoy it even more, as I feel the game gets better as you go!

Ok there is an achievement for killing a bear with a level 1 character so it is possible.
Idk how fast an electrified bear is. assuming bear traps and Ranged spells is the best way to go
Yes! It certainly is possible with lots of traps I think? I've never done it, though!
Is lightning or fire the better pick? Going to start a playthrough with one of the two tonight.
I think both have benefits. I like the lightning package so far as it stuns and DoTs, but fire does DoTs as well and has more low level spells. Either is good!
@@DrIncompetent I waffled for quite a while and chose lightning. Loving it so far, the crowd control is so so good.

Hello! I'm so glad you enjoy the videos ;D I have such a hard time with best of lists because I always forget a game and don't want to leave stuff out haha. I will give you a few though, in no particular order: Zelda: A Link to the Past, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, Final Fantasy VII, Super Metroid, Slay the Spire... haha I could keep going but will stop before it becomes a top 100 list ;)
