Hi Dave, maybe I missed it, I know the vehicle combat rules are in one of the WOIN books, but are there stats for vehicles in the Judge Dredd core rulebook?
WOIN's countdown system is great.
Even though the character creation takes some time I still appreciate these kinds of 'lifepath' style character gen systems and would like to see them in more titles.
A better system for this game would be using d20 Modern & d20 Future to run a Judge Dredd game
I really do think quick character creation is the way forward. Counterbalance this multiple character options from advancement.
The count-down mechanic is a good idea.
Roughly how many of that 270 pages is source material and how much is WOIN rules? I would buy this as a source book.
Dorian Yeager Sort of tough to separate out some of the content, which is blended, but I’d say on the whole it’s 70% setting/source material, roughly.
This sounds like an amazing game. I love some good crunch in an TTRPG. I doubt I will ever have time to learn it, much less play it, but I'm glad it is out there for people to pick up.
I'm about to start running/ playing rpgs for the first time in over 30 years so I'm real new to this. I have these rules and the robot wars book, going to start playing over skype/ zoom with 6 friends. This is a great intro video thank you
How is it going?
@@faithlessberserker5921 it started well but kind of died out. Just couldn't get times when everyone was available at the same time
@@Paulus449 damn I was hoping to maybe join in.
@@faithlessberserker5921 you'd be more than welcome to join if we get it restarted, it's always an option to get going again..We got the 1st chapter of the robot wars campaign done and it was great fun
A nice and informative review. Thank you.
