It makes me happy to see that the person reviewing this really has a handle on 2000AD. Especially during the really exciting period of it that ran through the 80's. I would love to see a review of other 2000AD rpg properties. I have heard there is a Slaine game but know very little about it. Keep up the good work.
There have been two Sláine RPGs - one based on D20, the other on Runequest. There have also been three Judge Dredd RPGs this century - the first also based on D20, the second on Traveller and the current one on WOiN from EN Publishing.
I love Judge Dredd. I've read most of the original stuff, and we even tried a d20 open source campaign for Dredd (it went poorly). As a Canadian, most of us here only know either the movies and not the original source. I think this would be neat to run, but does look a little bare bones to me. I;ll keep an eye out for it for sure.
Um I may have 3 copies of the box set... But then I did buy one about 3 decades ago, and the other two I got of eBay both in mint condition about 10 years ago.
I recently acquired a complete copy of this game with 2 of the additional campaign books, Slaughterhouse and Judgment Day. Can't wait to give it a go with my rpging group in a few weeks.

Bought this game in the 80's, I was around 14 and it was a lot of fun, it also help me to learn some english idioms and slang.
Excellent display!
Earned a sub for direct, concise, and clear explanation.

It gives you everything you need - there is no rules bloat at all.
Anyone checked out the recently released Judge Dredd RPG based on the WOIN system?
Got it from the Kickstarter, looks really good, though we won't get to play it for a while...
