+Katie Herzig Drive is brilliantly directed, the plot is astounding. John Wick is an action movie, and nothing else. Different genre's its like comparing Hot Fuzz with Forrest Gump
I would say this film is beautifully directed. It's beautiful to look at. It had a solid cast and the story made sense. Not many action films have all of those pieces. I enjoyed it more than Drive simply because for what John Wick could have been, it exceeded my expectations and really hooked me. I get they are different films. I get it. I just liked John Wick more.
Katie Herzig John Wick lacks storywise, but action wise its amazing. I like to compare John Wick to Marvel movies. No one is gonna remember the villain, the story and the locations. But everyone will remember the action and the "cool" shots. Cuz you know why? Thats what cinema is today. Interstellar won no fucking oscars, but pricks like Theory of Everything won everything (No pun intended) Even though it was a boring and terribly paced and directed movie. I love John Wick, but its no "buy Blu Ray" movie for me. Im saving the storage for Star Wars Force Awakens

What you often miss because of all the action is that John Wick is SO GOOD in every way. Music, cinematography, script, choreography, action, lighting, post production... so is the second one. It is basically flawless

+The Reel Rejects Love Keanu, but what really sold this movie for me was that my friend from when i was a kid was in it... Alex Frekey .. yes that's his name we call him Freak. Didn't have a big part.. he was the Russian who got the mobsters kid outta the hideout towards the end and got popped once they got down the stairs... So i wanted to support him and instead of waiting for this to be ready to rent instead i went to the theaters to see it.., and im glad i did... I got to watch my good friend in a movie, and Reeves throw down., twas a win win.., im glad you enjoyed the film... :D

When this movie came out, no one thought of it to become this legendary. It was just supposed to be this random keanu Reeves action movie but when I watched it at the theatres, I did say it was the best action movie of the year.

That movie looks awesome, I love movies with action like that. Ryan did you or Sally noticed how Keanu Reeves does express any emotions in his films and how he looks like he hasn't aged much since the Matrix. I swear when I see his films I think, "Keanu Reeves, sold all of his emotions for immortality".
i can't get enough of that trailer i think it looks awesome and i think its gonna b a bit of reboot for keanu reeves and it looks so good i think it'll do well and maybe even mr reeves might catch the eye of the expendables casting team and this character john wick seems like another taken sort of character with a set of particular skills and is a force to b reckoned with
