Thank you 😊 We did look at fair bit on youtube to see how to get there and tried to show all the bits and pieces others missed. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
Well that was the best video we have watched. Thank you for showing everything from start to finish on the big boat. We would love to take our van over but when I did some dates I couldn't get any return for 3 months. Which is fine if we were retired but we are still working and don't have that kind of leave available. Looking forward to your Tassie videos. Safe travels and I hope you love it over there. Indi is such a good girl. I cant imaging taking our puppies. I reckon they would fret and cry too much. Moodles, very clingy lol.
Thank you 😊 There is a lot to take in especially when you don't know where you are going. Indee is good like that she is used to being left behind it makes life easier without having her so clingy 😅 Thanks for your continual support. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
Great we will be down that way toward Xmas you have an opshop nik loves and op shop where is it located plz thanks for watching Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
No thank you for watching and commenting on our channel. I did feel a bit stressful about the getting on and off and where to go. But it all went smoothly. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
Thank you 😊 It was our experience and how we found it. There is so much information on youtube about this. But everyone travels differently. So this is our spin on it. Hope it helps some viewers. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
We are glad you found it to your liking 👍 We have watched so many people make the journey and we were still unsure on what to expect. We tried to add all the stuff we were looking for on how to prepare for it. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂 Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
With caravans and motorhomes, early on generally means early off at the other end. There is a couple of caravan parks within 5 minutes of where you get off the boat
Yes we thought that , that's why we got there early but we were on the far side of the boat so they let all the centre lanes go first. That's why we got off last even though we were one of the first few on. Luck of the draw I guess But it's all flows fast. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
Now this was very informative The breakfast looked amazing. Indee was so happy to see you guys my poor heart melted just because I know how amazing she is. Thanx guys for sharing all that info it will help when we plan our trip. 💖💖💖💖💖 Cheers Johnny&Rene
We only looked on wikicamps for places to stay. These were the first we came across. But thanks for the heads up for next time. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
Well done guys on yet another informative video. It gives people the idea of how to go about the trip and what to expect. Certainly hope that the seas are calm on your return trip. Stay safe...look forward to your Tassie adventures
Officeworks in Waurn Ponds isn't far and there's no parking fees there - just in case anyone reading needs the same thing and wants to save some money.
You could get a cooked lunch but that closed at 3pm they also said this over the loud speaker this would be the last chance to get food. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
When you book your ticket you get an e-ticket in your confirmation email this number corresponds with your rego, car type, caravan and your length. Oh and if you have a dog as well. Just show them that number on your email. Thanks for watching and commenting on our channel. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
Another great episode guys, I'm loving your channel. My family and I will be on a night sail in a few weeks and I was wondering if you think arriving, say 1 hour after gates open, would reduce your wait time in the car before embarking, based on your experience, or this wouldn't make much difference? Roughly how long did the total embarking time take? My wife and I need to entertain a 9yr old thats all 😬 and you know what they say about a happy wife Dave 🤣. Cheers Paul🍻
If your just in a car they go on first and then the vans and trucks. This is just my opinion I did just say to Nik. If you got there later I think it would all go smooth still. But in my opinion I think you would be waiting longer to get off. I'm not sure if this is right but it's what I think. Hope that works for you. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
@paulchaseling9154 That's great 👍 We do have another mid week video this Tuesday coming. It's a review on the Ogo Composting Toilet. We have had a lot people asking our opinion so we have done a video on it. But we will still be up loading our travels every Friday at 2pm WA time like clock work. Cheers guys and thank you for watching and commenting on our channel it means a lot to us 😀 Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
We are heading to St Helen's tomorrow. But right at this we are at a recreation grounds near the Pub in the Paddock in Pyengana. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
@daveniksadventures2255 I'm loving it. Thankyou so much guys. Your videos are amazing. Channel 7 needs to give you your own show. Your videos are so professional. Thankyou again
About the same as the patrol you can't do under cover parking in fact the RAM is only 500mm longer and about 150mm wider than the patrol about the same height. So we park at the back of all the car parks where less people park Try to get a reverse spot so we can hang the bum over the garden and even better if we get an end bay so we can hug the kerb. If can't get in a place like that we park down a street and walk back. But hey we knew this would be the case before we brought the RAM. Or worse case I'll drop Nik off out the front and come pick her up after she has finished. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
Hi there we have a full review this TUESDAY on the OGO composting toilet, we have had allot of enquiries and its been 6 months now so tune in on UA-cam 2pm WA Time cheers 👍 🍻 🇦🇺

But honestly the kennels were fine they have people check on them during the sail. And indee was happy as when we picked her up. We will be putting her in the kennels again on the return sail. Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺

@@daveniksadventures2255 no worries. The carpark there is big enough to park your van in as well, it doesn't get that busy there.

Hi,
What ID They ask when you check in to drive on the boat?

Just show them that number on your email.

Thanks for the content. How do you find parking the Ram at the shopping centre?
About the same as the patrol you can't do under cover parking in fact the RAM is only 500mm longer and about 150mm wider than the patrol about the same height.

Cheers Dean.
Hi there we have a full review this TUESDAY on the OGO composting toilet, we have had allot of enquiries and its been 6 months now so tune in on UA-cam 2pm WA Time cheers 👍 🍻 🇦🇺
@ thanx, will do. 👍🏻
How long was the boat trip? And is the kennel the only option with a dog?
It was about 11 hours
And you can sign a waver and leave your dog in your van.
But it's on you if something goes wrong
Indee is a pretty chilled dog and we have trained her to stay on her own
We did think of leaving her in the van but if she had a rough sail we thought it would turn her off being left in the van again.
But honestly the kennels were fine they have people check on them during the sail.
And indee was happy as when we picked her up.
We will be putting her in the kennels again on the return sail.
Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
Talking about cabins and recliners ,how come you not save the money and park up in your caravan lol....?
On the boat ride over?
You aren't allowed to stay in car or van.
It is a gargo area only you must go to the passenger area. You can stay in the public area or get a cabin or on the recliners that your choice.
But we did explain why we chose a cabin.
For the trip over.
Cheers Dave and Nik 👍🍻🇦🇺
My God there is alot of taxes to travel around Australia!!!!
There are a lot of taxes Wether you stay home or travel.
But of you want to do something in life you just need to go with the flow. 😊
