It is a marble threshold.
May I know ...what kind of tiles you are using...coz it foldable....tq
It is a carved mosaic on a grid
Reminds me of working with my grandpa when I was young. He was old school, a perfectionist! He was like Yoda in the tile world; he used his senses and was so experienced he knew it was level by touch, feel and sight. I would check with a level, and he was right on the money every time! Anyways, great video, fantastic work!

I have one of these tile huge walk in showers. Mine is even bigger than this one, double if not even a little more, so I was wondering... could I just close it up somehow and turn it into a mega bathtub? lol

At the begining to put mosaic.....Do you think is ok to move the shower drain ....close to vertical wall/ tile?.......I mean without that first mosaic "layer" ?

The shower drain should be 5 cm away from vertical wall for waterproofing. We will do it video about that. Greeting...

In this video ( ua-cam.com/video/LPuenajpD4s/v-deo.html ) in 7.48 min you can see the waterproofing tape in the form of a ring it must be placed around the chiffon in the floor for this reason the siphon must be moved away from the wall 5 cm

Mosaic area is 80x100 or 90 x 120, 140. the bigger is the better

Yes has sloope for drainage aprox 1 cm
What kind of marble is that? The one that is black that separates the shower from the other part of the bathroom? Is it a curb?
Yes that it is a granite curb.

We use for that tiles adhesive Mapei keraflex on this link you can see greeting...

I love watching your work. There was one tile that
was doing my head in, I kept looking at it and trying
not to. lts the small mosaic tile on the small side
wall of the shower lol. I know, everyone else will
think that's ok but maybe my OCD was kicking in big
time :) Honestly this looked awesome though.
Doing this renovation in our bathroom finally.One question,how do you start laying wall tiles around shower channel drain since its around 2cm lower there,where do you start on the wall and make the line straight when its start going higher?I hope you understand what i mean :),thank you!

Is the floor level or is it higher at one end so water flows to the drain?
In the shower a drop was made towards the siphon
Did you add a sealant (Do you need a sealant) for the grout on the shower floor?
Yes we put it ..
This music would be more effective than a fire alarm if there was an emergency.

Thank you, yes we in this mosaic use Ceresit grout.
Do you remember the size of this walk-in shower? If not, what's the minimum size recommended for this type of walk-in shower?
