@@AdamKlawonn it was mainly looks that made me decide to get it, it’s been a very long time since I used the stock seat so don’t quite remember the difference, but for pillion the stock seat is a little more raised. After around an hour on the saddle both rider and pillion start to get sore on the flat seat
@@Dorset.Motorcycles got it, thanks! I’ve been toggling between simply having the stock seat reupholstered or getting the flat seat, and possibly having that reupholstered. I think I’m going to stick with the stock seat. There’s a local guy who can reshape it, wrap it in something cool.

Are you happy with the quick shifter and what kind did you use?
Very happy with it! It’s a cordona race quickshifter the changes and very snappy which makes it super fun
My 07 comes prewired for a quick shifter. Does the xsr700 come prewired for a quick shifter?
