    CONTEST UPDATE: Jamie Huber wins the Keychain pack with the guess of $28.41, only 16 cents off. For reference, I purchased the B34-F4141-00-00 PROTECTOR, FUEL TANK from Partzilla late-March for $28.57. Too expensive if you ask me haha. I received 13 guesses before the contest ended, so I'll be shipping 13 sticker packs out to everyone that competed :). Thanks for having fun, everyone!

    Thanks for another great video. Subscribed. The xsr700 was actually my wish to be my first bike. However, once I sat on it, it felt a tad to high for my 5'5" so I sat on the mt07 that was right next to it, and I fell in love. It felt so much better for my height and considering the same engine I bought the mt07. Love that bike

      Same here except I just bought the Kawasaki 650rs in black which is just 2 inches lower and I’m 5’8. Shout out to your girlfriend on the scrambler! She looks same age, we have the same bike, and we are the same height.. heh.. The scrambler was actually my first bike after taking a motorcycle training course. I couldn’t stand the stock seat though! They call it a ball crusher but it’s also a crotch bone digger. Especially on long rides! I went with the mustang seat and never looked back! Tell her it’s so worth it despite the cost! I also got the Ohlin rear shock and I realize this is common to say but I have to do it.. it was like riding a while different bike. I could take corners, make turns and even do slow maneuvers with much more confidence. Also, riding on the freeway… I felt so much safer with the better shock. It’s just a must to get if you plan on keeping that bike for another year or 2. Thanks for reading! Be safe you cats!

    I actually just got an xsr7 as a beginner bike. I love it... except the pretty twitchy low speed throttle response. It can pretty easily buck you off if you are not super gentle with the throttle and friction zone. Which is kind of a shame as it can mashes you a little at with the throttle from a stop which can stall you pretty bad.

    • @herovandiejen1479
      @herovandiejen1479 4 роки тому

      Thanks for the reply! It's basically that we have 3 licenses. A, A2 and A1. A1 is only 125cc with 11Kw in power. A2 is unlimited cc but the bike Kan only have a max of 35kw (or 47bhp). The XSR 700 is above that and falls in the A license (unrestricted in cc and power) but with a restrictor kit you can make sure it keeps withing the power limits of A2 and then after 2 years of A2 I can get a unrestricted A license and take it out to get the full power of the bike! With a bike like this it's definitely not underpowered when you get it unrestricted, and it probably doesn't feel like a small of weak bike and it would be cheaper to invest in this bike instead of buying two bikes for the licenses!

    • @CappuccinoMoto
      @CappuccinoMoto  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks Alexandre! It was a tough choice the 900 has quite a bit of power my man. Like crazy power haha. But honestly I enjoyed riding the 700 better, it fit me better and I like the look of it better. The 900 is a bit more sporty in my opinion. I’m big on visuals ... haha.

      @@CappuccinoMoto I´m going to be honest with you...i bought the 900 and yes it is crazy power!
      I thought i would like it more because of the power but now i see that maybe the 700 would be enough...My height is 6,2 and my weight is 195lbs so i can handle the bike but in the end i think i don t need that crazy power, what i need is to enjoy the ride (but i like very much off my bike XD)

    Love the video keep it up! I just got mine a few weeks ago!!! 2019 xsr700. Saw yours on the gram and I was like yeah that's gonna be my first bike! Still, a bit intimidated by it as its my very first motorcycle, and I only have MSF course experience. So I am going to be practicing in a parking lot for a while. You mentioned that you were able to lower the seat height from 32 to 30. I am 5 7" and have a short inseam so I tippy-toe when I am on it and I feel losing 2 inches on the height would greatly improve my confidence on the bike. Where did you get the seat and was it custom?

    I respectfully disagree, The XSR700 is not a beginner bike unless it´s limited to 48 HP and even then it´s going to be difficult for beginners not to crash it and hurt themselves. However, it´s a perfect 2nd bike. My case: Beginners lack throttle control, balancing skills at slow speed maneuvers, Grip knowledge and understanding, braking technique, etc... All these skills and things are more important than the bike´s technology or HP, you can easily lose your life on a 6HP 50cc moped as with a 200HP Kawasaki track monster, and I´ve seen too many people who overestimate their skill level and don´t make it past a month from buying a new bike. You come from a dirt riding background, as do I, so it is hard for us to imagine how difficult controlling a motorcycle can be for a beginner. I realized this when I taught my GF how to ride, it took her a year to be able to ride on a road after countless lessons in parking lots, and that is with a 125 9HP scooter, she would never dare to get on a 75HP wheelie monster. I also understand that there is a wide spectrum, there are people like us who learn quickly and could easily master a 75HP within a month, but there are others who take years just to learn how NOT to lock up the breaks in an emergency or to NOT target fixate. So if you are one of the few who can learn quickly, agile, have previous experience, and are willing to practice and learn constantly, then sure, the XSR will be perfect for you, and if you belong to the other 90%, don´t even get close to this bike because you are going to come home in a coffin. Hope this was helpful. And that isn´t even taking into account other drivers and their mistakes. Great video by the way. Have a nice day:)

    pretty funny to get lectured about saftey by some guy and his gf that both dont wear proper saftey gear. The perfect height of your bikes wont do shit when you eat pavement. Sorry but that had to be said. Tshirts and apparently non kevlar jeans without protectors oof. Even that cute little gloves dont even have anything preventing them from sliding off with a little ground contact.

    • @CappuccinoMoto
      @CappuccinoMoto  4 роки тому +1

      Had to be said, had to be said.... get your eyes off my gal! ;) Kevlar head to ankle, but either gear or not the point about bike safety still stands. Your bike being safe to ride would prevent you or help you from going down. This wouldn't be a chicken/egg situation. Have you ever been down on a slide, and do you design gloves, my guy?
