There's so much history and culture in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and I'm on a mission to explore more of the country. Would love to hear your thoughts on places I should go see. Drop me a comment below, I want to know! 🤩 *Follow my journey of moving and living in Cambodia here: **bit.ly/moconutlifeYT*
Love from the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I've been looking to go to Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia. Thank you for sharing & educating me.... very easy video. Look forward to more. Ali
Have done all except the Mekong boat ride. I prefer the museum of all of them. Sad that the palace is closed as the Silver Pagoda is filled with Buddhas [but no pictures allowed :( ]. I wonder if the Apsara Dance troop by the museum is back? It is a wonderful evening addition to someone's stay in Phnom Penh.
That's awesome! I do recommend the boat cruise. My husband and I had a great time on it. And yes, too bad the Palace is still closed. I remember visiting years ago and was so amazed at its grandeur. I also agree with the Apsara Dance. Unfortunately, I was told that the performance area is being converted to a garden area.
@@eddiemen6752 Their health system doesn't really work the same as in the US. I've had some friends who don't have any health insurance and end up paying out of pocket, and other friends who had health insurance that covered their expenses overseas (they just had to submit a claim afterwards). It varies, but if you're traveling, you can consider getting SafetyWing which is the travel medical insurance my husband I used: safetywing.com/?referenceID=moconutlife&
I am going next year and would love to find a local from a poor village to take me around so I can help him and his family out rather than a city local. Do you know any?
Hi! If you're looking in the Phnom Penh area, you'll find that most people who work there are from the countryside. This is evident during major holidays or election days, when the capital city is empty and people have returned to their village. If you join the Cambodia Travel facebook, you might be able to find some people. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your travels!
Nice video, but you omitted a very important museum: Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Don't forget the millions who died under the Khmer Rouge. It's good to focus on the positive, but don't forget to educate others on this horrific group.
Sorry about that. Had to change the background music using UA-cam's tools and for some reason the volume doesn't adjust correctly. Hopefully my other videos prove more bearable.

Great video. Are there any stray dogs in the Riverside area? I didn't see any in the video. Thanks.
❤
I love your content, but the background music is a bit distracting - maybe you chose the wrong music. Overall content is great.
I know and sorry about the music. For some reason, I'm unable to adjust it on YouTibe's editor. But I do appreciate the support!
Welcome to Cambodia 😍🇰🇭🫶
Very nice
Thanks

Hi , Any health insurance can be used in Cambodia? Thanks

Nice video, a lot of knowledge, but horrible choice of music/noise in the background.
Hello! Great video, by the way. Do all local stores accept US dollars or better yet bring substantial amount of riel?
Majority of indoor stores use USD. The more you head to where the locals go, the more you can expect to use riels.
Enjoyed the content, but in my opinion, the music was a bit intrusive and distracting. Thank you for sharing.
U can buy the ticket to visit in Royal palace..o.k..
Hi, planning to visit Phnom Penh and your video is extremely helpful. Would like to ask if Wat Phnom is open daily?
I believe so. Everytime I drove by it, it always had visitors. Weekdays are probably the best if you're trying to avoid a crowd.
Love the content, but multiple different songs playing at the same time in the background drove me crazy.
🇰🇭😍👍

@@MoconutLife Thank you for the info.
Why are you playing nine songs at once? I don't know which sounds to focus on
Nice video, but you omitted a very important museum: Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Don't forget the millions who died under the Khmer Rouge. It's good to focus on the positive, but don't forget to educate others on this horrific group.
The music was unbearable and there was lots of static or something... Otherwise seems like a good video but I couldn't watch it.
Sorry about that. Had to change the background music using UA-cam's tools and for some reason the volume doesn't adjust correctly. Hopefully my other videos prove more bearable.
Sorry couldn't hear a word over the stupid music and gave up
Yea sorry. Was unable to adjust the sound on the YT editor.
