Regarding taxi prices, as a citizen of Davao, I believe that normal taxis are cheaper than Grab because Grab charges an extra fee on top of the meter they use. You can trust most taxi drivers here in Davao. Davao is not ranked as the 3rd safest city in Southeast Asia for 2024 for nothing, with the top 2 being Chiang Mai and Singapore. Davao is nothing near like Manila, even we from Davao don't want our city to become like Manila today. Also, 300 pesos from the Airport to the city centre at night is actually kinda considered with a tip because the metered price for that is between 200-250 pesos. Also, that's sliced ham, not bacon 33:50
No worries about taxj with in davao city!im in and out in davao city for many times!before you exit in airport u get stub where you can complain for the passnger safety! Aside from that if you travel outside davao city you can negotiate with the taxi driver in reasonable price!
Sir' try to taste the Durian fruit there in Davao and some native delicacies .And also you may enjoy the beautiful nature especially the beach...Love your video and stay safe 😊
A bit of advice when it comes to using taxis: always ask for them to turn on the meter. The final meter price will always be lower than Grab and it will almost always be lower than an agreed upon price
Always demand that they use the meter. It is the best and practical thing to do. The meter is calibrated and regulated. Insist on using that and if you want to give tip, that would be on your generosity. Usually meter is the cheapest.
Davao taxi drivers are more diligent and trusted than in Manila. Always use the meter as it is very reliable and cheaper than grab. You don't need to have an agreement price or contract price with the driver. Although it is your first time in Davao but being vigilant and skeptic is really the first thing you would do. Thank you for visiting in Davao!
14:49 oh dont worry about taxis here in Davao. Davao Taxi Drivers were honest and I can guarantee you will only be paying what is on the meter. No more overprice.
Thety would ask it for business intelligence. The head office would require monthly/daily analysis on sales format whether dine in (is their capacity of dining tables enough in a given place or if take-away (as they may device a marketing plan to convert you to delivery). In terms of operations, there is a difference to packaging, usually they tape the lid or the box to secure the food, or serve disposable utensils instead of their available stainless crockeries.

Haha yeah makes sense, they are passionate about their traditional ways😁
Davao is Governed by the Dutertes. It’s the safest city in Philippines.
Feels quite safe👍🏻🥰
No foreign investors wanted to do business in Davao, it has a large area but not promising. Even in tourism it is the least favorite. Boring city with warfreak people. The peopel there are maids of Manila and Cebu.
You're obviously jealous
