The first and only time I airdropped someone I accidentally airdropped the gay fanfiction I was trying to share with my friend to my English teacher. He looked right at me, and asked if this was the reason I read so much every week.
@@arandomcommenter412 Too many English teachers and professors end up aware of the fanfic writing/reading habits of their students. It’s a relatively common hobby, and word document related accidents happen.
In 10th grade, my friend and I would airdrop cursed images to randos in the school on purpose. Ut was great, because we'd always cause an uproar with people yelling "WHO'S AIRDROPPING STUFF??" "STOP AIRDROPPING!!!" Honestly the most fun I've ever had in any of my classes
The bigger question is "Who did they intend to send these pictures to?" I had a classmate send a pic of Peppa the pig in BDSM gear to the teacher instead of his friend.
I don't have an Apple device myself, but I've heard from the comments section on another video of these that it's apparently very easy to fumble the button instead of doing something like saving or moving the image.
Went to a concert and some guy airdropped me a picture of a cat, and I airdropped something back to them. This went on 4 or 5 times. After the show, I met up with the guy and he was actually a really good guy
This threads the fine line between choosing Android or Apple. Like Android is highly adaptable, has more free shit and has wide price range. Apple on the other hand has exclusives, more costly and has this. Stale questions. Tough choose.
As someone who has never once used AirDrop I assume it's just a share button that will send media to a random selection of people within a mile of the sender.
@@CreativeUsernameHere48 Yeah, to my knowledge, it's just Apple's version of sharing files over bluetooth, like every device other than apple devices can do, with the one exception that it's faster, probably due to using wi-fi as well. Modern Android phones have a feature called "Nearby Share" that does the same thing.
After rewatching this for the 25th time, a part of me is tempted to go to random places and just airdrop random things to complete strangers just to mess with them. The rest of me is arguing that I should actually pick what I am sending out.
I went to a small high school where they gave us ipads and in our freshman year we would edit images of our teachers into memes and spread them over airdrop. Eventually they forced all of us to disable airdrop after students accidentally sent them to staff.
The one thing that makes me a little sad about my refusal to own any Apple products is that I'll never know the joy of airdropping cursed images to randos.
thinking of the time i airdropped a meme of a guy drinking listerene, eating altoids, and eating a lot of stuff made by other companies that make the same products, then he drank Donald duck orange juice, then he threw up. never forgetting the scream of a man saying “NO DONT DO IT” and the. heard him gag…meant to send that to a friend who was at the front. this was a school trip btw
I once accidentally airdropped a picture of my face really close I up to some random person on the bus. Then I heard someone loudly say “WHO JUST AIR DROPPED ME A PICTURE OF SOMEONE’S UGLY FACE?!” It still haunts me to this day. For context of the picture: it was to send to my friend so they can make a meme out of it
I knew how to competently program in High School, and once made a fake "Minecraft Launcher" java jar that would actually spawn a process, not visible in Force Quit or in any way other than system monitor, which would rapidly open tabs of Carl Wheezer on youtube and set their volume to max every second. (Un)Fortanately the school's security stuff on the school macs prevented me from making it a startup application. My school mac's ID became well known not to accept air drops from. Also, jar files in general became no longer trusted.
Its funny, during lunch at my school I had the grand idea of air dropping a meme to whomever had their air drop on. My name at the time was emily, to confuse people. (Emily is not my name) there were about fifteen people I aired opted this to, and the sudden whispers and laughter in the cafeteria made me nervous. But the worst part is that I started an AIRDROPPING WAR across the entirety of highschoolers, everyone started airdropping memes to anyone with their air drop on, and during the end everyone was asking who the hell started it. I've only admitted it was me today on this comment.? Best trend I've started. Now sometimes randomly ill get Airdropped a dumb meme and it'll make my day a little better
Something similar happened with me and my friends toward the beginning of my freshman year of college. Fortunately/unfortunately, it stayed within our friend group.
I have a friend who runs around and airdrops photos of Gordon Ramsay under the device name Gordon Ramsay to random strangers. It’s always a pleasure to watch someone’s face morph into confusion when they receive a photo of a cooking chef chopping carrots. While on fire.
When I was a college freshman, my friend started airdropping cursed memes to random people in the cafeteria, but her phone was under her dad’s name. We made sure that we were having normal conversations so no one would suspect our table. This went on for weeks, to the point where we had to remain calm as one table made it their mission to start walking around asking “WHO IS BRYAN” and even returned some memes. Eventually we cracked and they hailed us as heroes.
That reminds me that one day during middle school, I sent a friend of mine a meme. It devoted into everyone’s phone turning into a vibrating mess with pictures I’m still trying to remove from my mind. It’s still too cursed.
My 5 YEAR OLD sister was once on her phone taking the strangest embarrassing pictures of herself and then suddenly I got a message saying she airdropped me a picture of her giving me the 👁👄👁 face.
I remember when I was in middle school, I had to use an ipad to see the board because I didn't bring my glasses. Typically, they turn off the air drop on the ipads, but they had recieved an update the day before, so it was turned back on. My desk was faced in a peculiar way towards the teacher, so 1, she could see everything, and 2, the ring tone was turned all the way up, so you could hear it ever time something air dropped. Her jaw had hit the floor when me, herself, and my friend Gus saw a face full of hard core German porn appear right in front of our very eyes. Everyone wanted to know so bad what had appeared, but I was in tears laughing so hard all day long I couldn't ever bring myself to say what it was to them. It was a picture of some chick getting railed with text over it saying, "NIEN NEIN NEIN" and some explicit joke over it.
I accidentally airdropped a video of the great mighty poo (from a game called conkers bad fur day) to a stranger in Spain. I heard him burst out laughing.

It was a sexy pic of Waluigi wearing thigh-high latex boots and nothing else. edit: spelling error, pain
Me and about 100 other students were answering questions on Poll Everywhere for our college class, and someone airdropped the entire class a picture of characters I would later learn to be Zote and Hornet from Hollow Knight doing some very NSFW things with each other. Because the big screen was hooked up to an iPad, the picture was displayed for all to see including those who didn't have Apple devices. The professors were pissed off.
One day, a random kid took a girl's ipad in my class and airdropped cursed photos of her and her friends to the whole class. It was quite fun, until I realised she was crying because her friends thought she airdropped it.
I accidentally airdropped a cursed spongebob image to the English teacher and she went and yelled at the other class. For context, I like to airdrop random people, and that day I chose the name “God” as my airdrop name. There’s always a sight delay so I pretended I was checking the time. Clicked all the circles and put it away. Trying my best not to bust out laughing.

2:23 wait no i think this actually might have happened because of a girl at my school. Basically in my school’s bio-med class (offered to freshmen) we solve a crime scene that is laid out on the second day of school and students all take pictures. Our teacher ended up telling my class a story on how the previous year a girl tried to airdropped a photo of said scene to her mother and accidentally sent it to another passenger delaying the flight and having her investigated. Horrifying to all those involved i’m sure but a fun story that our teacher tells about the realism of the scene

Not quite the same thing, but my entire school used google docs, classroom, etc right, and then a few dozen kids in my class found out your could download people's full resolution google avatar, and set their avatars, to the zoomed in, well dressed, plain white background, face of our science teacher. And from that point on his avatar became a class meme, I even made a mosaic of a mosaic that formed his face out of his face out of his face.

The aura of it was so threatening that my brother was scared to reply back😂 BUT HE ACCEPTED IT ANYWAY LMAO

the test answer sent to a teacher during the exam happened in my class another time, it was extremely funny how the teacher calmly told the student to get out of class for a second. We heard the screams across the corridor
This reminded me of when some seniors decided to prank my school by mass airdropping rule 34 for a day. Pretty much the whole school was spammed and the school board responded by cancelling prom. Was it worth it? Idk, definitely made a boring day into a stupid but funny one.
Idk why but I imagined this as very dramatic lol I'm just picturing like "No stop! I do not want it!!" *"TAKE IT. **_TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT._** I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL YOU TAKE IT"* "Noooooo!!" I wanna animate this lol
One time.... My social studies class had a sub. I know the sub well. Had her before the year before, coincidentally, it was also social studies class. Anyway, she asked what other songs the students wanted her to play. One of them said, "play Rick Astley!" She knew exactly what it was. Which makes it funnier to me. I got Rick Rolled that day. I'm never gonna give that thought up. (I'm sorry, I had to do that👆 I had a chance and took it-)
This reminds me of when my school would give students ipads. Once my sister got old enough to receive one I would just randomly airdrop her weird pictures of herself. And despite not knowing her schedule I somehow always sent it to her whilst she was having a presentation. So her entire class would see.
Kids in some of my classes keep airdropping photos to anyone and everyone they can and they are the only reason I keep airdrop on anymore. It’s anything from their dogs, to memes, to once a picture of a hotdog in flight in the middle of the class they sent it in and I still don’t know the story behind that one
