    At 04:15 as the light runs up the panels of the jazzinc I see lots of dents and blemishes on it, especially above front wheel arch

    • @SOScollector
      @SOScollector  6 днів тому

      Yes I saw that too. HT being in the game this long must be better at minimizing these kind of issues. Jazzinc has flaws, but still looking really great with the paint, all the details inside the interior and all. Both are welcome in the collection, but the space and the wallet said I gotta choose one. 😂

    • @JazzIncdioramas
      @JazzIncdioramas 6 днів тому +3

      if you want to address the ‘mold issues’, there are three options:
      1) charge twice the price and take a dozen more hours of filling and sanding per vehicle. Add more layers primer, paint and finish and polish. Adding a few month to production.
      2) increase the price less (than twice the price) and make all separate parts for the side panel and accept bigger alignment or panel gap issues
      3) hugely simplify the side mold in detail, curves and accuracy like hot toys chose to do.
      Pick your poison

      @@JazzIncdioramas I do understand this Joost, and to me those are minor issues, won’t devalue all the great things, all the accuracy that’s been made. I love the more accurate curves, the green tint in the paint, those are simply beautiful.
      I just wish you could make KITT in the near future, that’s also my childhood hero car.

      @JazzIncdioramas I'll take a straight panel every day of the week.
      We all have our individual likes and dislikes, I love the accuracy over the HT. However, for me, if the light hits the panel on my display case and the panel ripples, I'd cringe every time. Imo that front wing in the video @04:15 looks like it's been in a fender bender. Cockpit looks amazing. I'd suggest lose the shin breakers, discs, smoke, turbine, ( who use's them?) spend the time on the panels.

      @carrettironan1165 5 днів тому

      Hot Toys chose to paint it flat black to hide all the eventual defects.
      The accurate semi-gloss finish of the Jazzinc can’t hide them. Semi-gloss finish reveals everything. Look at a real car painted in that way and you will ever find something.
      Even the real car used on set wasn’t probably 100% perfect IMO.

    The Jazz Inc is probably worth the money. But it's more than twice the hot toys when you factor in shipping and rewards points. I like the 89 Batmobile - it's my favorite Batmobile from all movies - but I'm more of a comic book guy, and the Hot Toys definitely scratches that 89 Batmobile itch more than adequately, AND still leaves me enough left over for three more hot toys figures or my in art Aragorn and a hot toys figure 🙂 But if you're an absolute 89 Batman fanatic, yeah, I mean the Jazzinc is clearly the better unit. And for more than twice the money, it better be.

    • @ChuckM0503
      @ChuckM0503 6 днів тому +3

      Just because the Jazzinc version is more accurate and has better details, at a higher cost, mind you, doesn't make the Hot Toys version just some cheap toy. Whether you have the HT or Jazz version, they're both impressive eye catchers. Of course, the Jazz version ticks more accuracy boxes over the HT, but I don't think that takes anything away from the HT version. You get what you pay for with both. You want the most accurate batmobile that really gets into the nitty gritty and has all the bells and whistles? There's Jazz. If you want a more economical option that was mass produced, isn't quite as accurate, but still looks damn good and impressive in anyone's collection? You got the Hot Toys version.
