I really love this knife, I hope you do as well!
100%! That’s a beautiful blade!
@@sn1persnips85 thanks! I’m really pleased with it. Now on to the sheath!
Stunning pattern! Beautifully done sir. Me, I'm still happy with random pattern. Hopefully one day I'll learn enough to manipulate it as well as you have.
@@TyrellKnifeworks ooh leatherwork?
@@sn1persnips85 yup, picked up some awesome stuff at the show for it! 😉
To be honest, this is one of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen
Thanks so much! ❤️
lol I say that every time he makes a new knife!
I couldn’t have said it better Logan!
I just realized while watching this video that I much prefer to have mistakes made on video. Not sure why, maybe it’s just I can relate so much to it. Awesome video
This man isn´t getting as much attention and likes etc. as he should. Beautiful Bowie, love every part of it! Respect!
Thanks, Samu, I appreciate that and you watching! 👍🏻
All of the explanations were awesome. I really like when someone explains how they fixed an "unplanned" feature on something they're working on. Nothing of consequence is easy. Your narrative was spot on.
I would love to see a cleaver being made. Lots of surface area and not many videos making one.
Just saw them in the playlist. Watching now 😁
Yup, I did the raindrop damascus cleaver for a friend of mine. Lots of different builds in the library. If there's something you don't see, let me know!
I must have seen over 100 knife builds and I think this is honestly the most impressive, well done!
Thanks Adam! I appreciate that! 👍
I love Bowie Knives and this is about the most beautiful I have ever seen. Your video is one of the best and most informative ever.
Thanks so much, Stan! Be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications for other cool builds coming up! 👍
How or where can I get one like this
That needs a 30 minutes of just finished knife 🔪 display!
Do not know what to rank you... Dwarfish? Or Elvish?
Superb craftsmanship.
Thanks Yousif! This is one of my favs for sure!
this is a real masterpiece
Thanks so much, Jamshed! I appreciate you watching!
congratulations, it wasn't only fun to watch you making that Bowe knife rather it was educational. Thank you.
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching!
this knife is so amazing calling it a knife is an understatement, 100 mil would be considered cheap!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching!
This is the best Damascus pattern I’ve ever seen
Thanks so much! Some cool builds coming up, be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications! 👍
Hey guys it’s not only a knife.. it’s a real …ART ..congratulation man for this nice job
Thanks so much, Ahmad! I appreciate you taking a look!
I think the best thing is the instant recognition of your personal style..., I can tell your work instantly.... loved it subscribed
Thanks so much, Charlie! Welcome to the channel!
The blade came out awesome and the video was also great. Thank you for all the details. Super impressed with your skills.
Thanks for the kind words! Look for more cool builds coming up! 👍
I have a feeling that now I have the basics down, this channel is going to be very useful as I continue to learn.
If the gyuto challenge was meant as an extra-big collab to distribute subscribers around, it worked.
Mission accomplished!! Welcome to the channel, Gabriel. Check out the other builds and videos, I think you’ll find some interesting stuff! 👍
As soon as I convert this log splitter to a steel press, I'll finally be able to work on damascus. Your work is so exciting to watch. ThankQ again for sharing. I've learned so much from just watching & listening to you.
Thanks so much for following along, Renee! Inspiring and teaching others is what keeps me going!
Now, that is craftsmanship. Very nice
Thanks Sergey! Be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications to see other cool builds!
That is gorgeous! Love watching what you can do with steel
Thanks for taking a look, Jason!
rewatched an im convinced this the most beautiful knife ive ever seen.
Thanks so much, Jeff. I think you should watch the feather Damascus bowie build. I think that one is more impressive personally. 👍
Love the knife, and your voice is nice. It's like Jeremy Ironsides, Tom Selec, and John Malkovich all rolled into one with the attitude of a salt of the earth Tradesman.
Man I can't believe how beautiful this knife came out! The mosaic pattern is stunning and the handle is pure perfection! Awesome job buddy your attention to detail is inspiring. 👍🏻
Thanks so much, Dylan. It’s my new fav. 😜
@@TyrellKnifeworks it's hard to pick a favorite. All of your work is so good but this one is up at the top forsure.
This is a absolutely a masterpiece 🥰
Thank you, Sinon. Be sure to checkout the newer builds for even cooler knives! 😮

This was a fun one! Thanks for watching, Guillermo!
You do a great job on these videos. Quite relaxing actually. Never knew watching narrated knife forging was such a nice way to unwind.
I’m glad it’s relaxing! Thanks for watching. 👍
I love the commentary. This was so informative!
Thanks Jon! 👍
Totally. The channels with no explanation are boring. Same old same old: Heat it up, squish it - repeat.
Between this channel and Green Beetle, it's great hearing the hows and whys of the process.
@@larrybud I’m honored to be compared to Beetle! He’s one of the channels *I* started watching when I started. It was fun having him as part of the Gyuto challenge and now the Bowie challenge coming in October!
Another build, another masterpiece! I would love to see you make a slipjoint folder.
I’ve done one folder and it was just ok. Folders are hard! 😜. Thanks for watching!
that has to be the most beautiful knife i have seen, congrats
Thanks for taking a look, Andrew! Check out some of my other builds, you might change your mind. 😜
WOW! What a BEAUTIFUL BLADE!
Thanks for checking it out, Jeff! ❤️
Wow, rally turned out so well. I have to say when you started swearing after drilling the holes in the guard I thought somehow it had got hot and you had burnt yourself!
My wife ran in thinking I cut my arm off shortly after that too. 🤣
Your craft is something out of this world. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
WOW just picked my jaw up off the floor. Very handsome knife. After watching this I had to subscribe. Please keep making more videos. I learned a lot.
Welcome to the channel, Pat! New build videos every Sunday and tutorial videos every Thursday! Except this weekend, the Bowie Challenge video comes out this Friday! Please watch and vote!
you deserve to have million subs, youve got nice works
Thanks so much, Paolo! I appreciate that!
A knife you could look at 100 times and still never get sick of seeing it. outstanding
Thanks for checking it out!
This show is about as good as Forged in Fire! 🔥
Thanks so much, Eddie! Though I don't think you could make this in 5 hours! 😜
This is perfection in forgery and craftsmanship. This man should be a master forger.
Thanks so much! I think I’m still a ways of master by ABS standards, but I hope sone day! Thanks for watching!
@@TyrellKnifeworks I have seen a lot of forging and honestly both the techniques and skill employed are that of a true perfectionist - it’s worthy of an ABS master forger title
@@choudhury200991 thanks so much! I’m still a ways off of an ABS master. I’ll be testing for Journeyman next year though. 👍
Exquisite workmanship and a beautiful end product
Thanks for checking it out, James!

Most beautiful craftsmanship I’ve ever seen. Fantastic !
Thanks for checking it out, John!
That was lovely!!!
Thanks for taking a look!
Man I've been so busy the last few months that I haven't been on UA-cam much at all. So i figured I'd go on your channel and scroll back to see what I've missed....and it's a hell of a lot. UA-cam didn't show me having watched this one, even though it looked familiar. So I started watching it. Many times I'd hear you say something or see how you did something and would think,,,yeah I'm pretty sure I've seen it. But not being a 100% sure, I kept going. And the when you started drilling the holes for the lineup pins on the wrong side of the guard, I KNEW without a doubt I had seen it. Lol I still finished it though and it's just as gorgeous this go round.
Yeah, you probably watched the multi-part version. This is the complete video. Those tend to do better with most viewers. Thanks for checking it out, again! ❤️
Absolutely beautiful man...Wow. That is an amazing talent you have there brother.
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching!
All I can say is, WOW! Great skills!
Thanks! This was a fun one for sure! 👍
Turned out beautiful.
Thanks for watching, Vicky!
First video I have ever watched from your channel,,, amazing craftsmanship,,, I appreciate that you give so much information,,, the struggles you encountered,,, how you addressed these issues,,,, and at the end of it all,,, the most gorgeous knife I have ever seen,,,, I would love to hold that masterpiece in my hands,,,, liked and subbed
Thanks so much, Chris! If you come to the Blade West show in LA in October, you can hold it, among others! 👍
I love that mosaic pattern!! You do awesome work 👏
Thanks so much, Ben!
One of the coolest patterns so far keep kicking ass man
You’ll definitely like the next two builds! Stay tuned and be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications! 👍 Thanks for watching!
I use my angle grinder a lot also to save my belts. Belts can be expensive compared to flaps. I'm seeing more and more Smiths using surface grinders, it seems like a accurate way to make sure the knife sides are exactly level. Dang! That's a beautiful knife!!
After you have a surface grinder you start to take it for granted. I use it on EVERY knife now. If you don't have one, get one. 👍🏻
Love all your commentary and how you explain what you’re doing or what could happen if not dine correctly
Thanks for watching, Kai!
You are a master knifesmith sir, such a pleasure to watch you work. This is beyond beautiful
Thanks you so much! I appreciate you watching!
Je l avais pas vu celui là, le Damas est juste magnifique et le reste.... Comme d habitude c'est du super travail. Félicitations et merci de partager ta science avec nous.

Thanks so much, Brandon! I appreciate you watching!
@@TyrellKnifeworks how long have you been smithing for? And where did you learn your craft. I don't have enough money to start or have the equipment to start, but, I've always been so mesmerized by working with metal.
@@brandonfinch881 I started just over 3 years ago and learned from watching UA-cam. I started by learning how to weld with a $100 stick welder and built a forge. Then a 2x72. Then I built a press. I’ve bought many tools along the way line a mill, saws, heat treat oven, new grinder, etc. it doesn’t take long if you’re passionate! 👍
You are an artist sir.
Thanks for checking this one out, David!
What an amazing piece of work. Well done man
