The reality is ANY guitarist who has put in the time and effort to play at the level of ability Stevie has will have some ego about their chops. At least this is entertaining and the gent can truly play. It's interesting how any of the discernible emotive licks kinda disappear as soon as the cocaine-tempos hit the floor running. The hilarious MIDI background tracks are worth the price of admission. Fun stuff!

+MARSHOMEWORLD I was thinking the exact same thing. Anybody who's practiced enough can tell you it's harder to play a solo slower and have it sound good. Speed playing is fun and silly and a good way to boast your chops, but it kills all the little intonation and feel. I enjoyed this though, what a goof. :3

Lizzy Borden Well it's not actually twice as fast. You can see the bpm for each songs appearing on the screen and Steve can be quite impressive sometimes. I would't be surprised if he could play it a bit faster than the original :) It's maybe impossible but I would like to see him try !
Awesome video, dude! You are an awesome guitar player! And on "Free Bird", legend has it that Skynyrd is still in the studio playing that solo almost 50 years later. Even after most of the band has either died of old age or died in the plane crash back in 1977.

Randy is my third favorite Ozzy Guitarist. I just love Zakk and Jake. Not just for the solos though. They had awesome tone, riffs, and songwriting chops.
It may be a little controversial, but in my opinion one of the best solos ever is the one from "Blackbird" by Alter Bridge. It's my personal favorite. Listen before you reply ;)

My personal favourite solo is "Floods", by Pantera. But it could never be this amazing if Dimebag Darell played it alone, without the whole band. I think they all really fuse together. I also really love the solos from "Hot for Teacher", "While My Guitar Gently weeps", "Eruption", " Stairway to Heaven" and "Walk". Oh and also, FTW I love Monte Money !
Anyone who continually dislikes this video and his other more recent videos are so easily offended. Sure, he's extremely quirky and maybe a tad bit annoying at times, but he can still play circles around you.

I'm beginning to think he's not even a fan of Megadeth. Kind of baffling, I've never met a guitarist who didn't think Megadeth was the greatest band on earth.
Randy's solo on Diary of a mad man is one of the most hauntingly amazing solos ever imo. One of the first solos I ever learned. And never get sick of playin' it! A bit of a short solo. But brilliant!!
This video was not pointless..it was great. I cant decide what was better..your solos or your sweet dance moves...I recommend The Unforgiven and Holy Wars/Punishment Due next.

The solo from A Winter's Tale is better than the Bohemian Rhapsody solo when it comes to feeling, in my humble opinion. But yes, Stevie, please do the list this man requests.
Personally, I would have chosen one of the solos from "Dogs" or the end solo from "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" instead of "Another Brick In the Wall (Part 2)". Honestly, their best work was Animals, but The Wall is actually a close second.

Lizzy Borden Well it's not actually twice as fast. You can see the bpm for each songs appearing on the screen and Steve can be quite impressive sometimes. I would't be surprised if he could play it a bit faster than the original :) It's maybe impossible but I would like to see him try !

My personal favourite solo is "Floods", by Pantera. But it could never be this amazing if Dimebag Darell played it alone, without the whole band. I think they all really fuse together. I also really love the solos from "Hot for Teacher", "While My Guitar Gently weeps", "Eruption", " Stairway to Heaven" and "Walk".
